This microscope was amazing. I took some of my lake water and observed such small microbes, it makes me not want to swim in my lake any longer. We looked at hair, bugs, and much more. Absolutely worth the price.

Has been great for my high school sophomore’s biology class. My middle school and elementary aged kids use it with ease and enjoy looking at the premade slides it came with. Great entry level microscope.

The first shipment was lost, but once the replacement came in my 10yr old couldn’t get enough! We looked at onion cells & even dog hair!! The smartphone attachment works well when you are physically holding the phone.

I love this microscope! I bought it to run fecals on my farm with my goats. I don’t like that you have to manually move the base to move around on the slide. Other than that, the quality is great.

I’m studying to become a marine biologist. This scope is my first and i love it.

I bought this for my son who absolutely loves it! He couldn’t wait to open it and look at all the slides!! I found that the iphone13 fits in the holder with her case. I have an older version and had to remove it to fit the adapter!

Simple, came with extra slides, easy instructions

We really love this microscope. My daughter is 9 and we want to encourage her to appreciate science. We love all the slides that comes with it. We really dove in and checked them all out at once!
Additional “glass” slides and plates are for testing other things as well. Droppers and additional tools for storage, or picking small items up. Already assembled, just plug in, insert slide, and find the appropriate zoom and lighting. It does take a bit of patience to find the perfect settings, but this is what is great for kids! When it comes in clear it’s pretty darn cool!
The microscope can be placed back in the styrofoam for protection, and then in the duffel bag. This i don’t totally get? I’m more of a box type for storage, the bag is a bit odd. We will be leaving ours out so it gets used, so this is not a big deal to us.

Easy to use.

I really only bought this because i’ve always wanted a microscope, this one works pretty well and does everything i want it too. There are tiny pieces of fabric on the lenses themselves but for the price i sort of expect minor flaws like that.

Its a pretty sick microscope that i bought out of boredom, it works really well but the stage lens has a little smudge along with some possible nicks/micro cracks that aren’t fixable unless you know how to tear apart a microscope and rebuild it.

+ does what the specs say it does
+ takes seconds to set up
– user manual doesn’t even bother to describe the features
– bottom light should be stronger, it’s barely enough for high-end magnifications, thicker samples.
– eye pieces don’t screw in, they just slide in. So, if you tilt the unit over, everything will fall out.
– there’s a mention about the lense caps, but none are found
– there are no instructions about what to do with the specimen kit.
– it supposedly runs on batteries, in addition to the a/c-d/c adapter, but no word on which kind.

The microscope works quite well, but the accompanying equipment could use some improvement. The attachment that allows you to view with a smart phone does not fit properly, but you can wrap the tape around the parts it goes onto to stabilize it for viewing.
I really appreciate the fact that the microscope comes with sample slides and other equipment to practice with. It’s great for showing kids what a microscope can do.
The fine focus is great for improving the view.
I wish the light under the stage was a bit brighter, especially at high magnification.
The top light is great, but does not reach the subject when using the highest magnification.
For a more professional experience i would want a mechanism on the stage for moving the subject more precisely than can be done by simply moving the slide with my fingers.
The ‘instruction manual’ is impressively thick, but that’s only because it is 4 pages of description in a bunch of different languages. There are no actual instructions for how best to use the microscope.

Great for homeschooling and scientific engagement. Good for beginners but not flimsy either

Works fine on batteries batteries go quick. Nice microscope but power cord not working

Works great comes with cool slides to show the kids but it doesn’t have a fine adjustment to move the slide around so i have to move the slide around with my hands which can make finding and zooming into a specific spot hard.

Easy to use- just issues with lens switching and resolution at the highest power- for value still a great buy!

Homeschool mom here. We are really enjoying this microscope! We’ve been looking at all sorts of things with it, including the premade slides it came with and slides that we’ve made ourselves. It lost 1 star because the phone adaptor, which was a big selling point for me, doesn’t attach securely to the microscope so it’s basically useless.
