First off, i was sort of in a rush, so i didn’t take notice of what the picture showed or read the product title thoroughly. That being said, i was a little disappointed. I was under the impression that i was getting 4 leather tag holders. Obviously, if you spent more time than i did on the product page, and you scrolled all the way down here to read the reviews – you’re already one step ahead of me. I just saw the ratings and the price and went with it. Lol the product contains 2 leather-clip tag holders and 2 waterproof plastic-clip tag holders.

Once i got passed my initial disappointment in overlooking my mistake i inspected the holders and feel like for the price it’s a good buy. Obviously these aren’t ultra-premium products – if you want that then spend the $30 on a single tag loop from apple. These are simply meant to hold the tag, and clip to a keychain or even a bag/other if so desired.

The only thing of main concern was when i was testing the waterproof holders. (haven’t actually tested any submersion – but rather the beeping. ) when you request the air tag to play the sound you will find that the beeping is a little more muffled and not as piercing with the leather holders. (which is not to say you can’t hear them at all – it’s just if they already start of muffled and then you lose them in an area where the sound is even harder to hear it could be an issue) if it’s deep inside of a couch or under a pile of laundry, stuck in the side of a seat in a car with maybe covered by a coat or something then you’ll be less likely to hear it. This is essentially just a cautionary note. For now i am leaving 5 stars because i have nothing negative to say about the products due to the manufacturer/seller.

And i think for a decent number of users you will use the direction arrow on your iphone to help you locate your lost item. But if you are still not able to hear it beep within the 3 feet that the directional arrow stops showing on the iphone then the waterproof holders are partly to blame and, again, is due to their primary design of being waterproof

*** i do want to note this in addition because i am sure many of you are thinking – ‘well, it says waterproof, how do you expect it to be waterproof if you want sound to come through’ – and while that is true, most smartphones out there have had ip68 water and dust resistant ratings for quite some time and they can play sound through the speakers or have voices heard through the microphones which is achieved by gaskets and mesh fibers small enough to prevent water access but allow sound waves to pass through. That is simply something i wish these would adopt in some way with future revisions of this product. Again, this wasn’t worth me taking a star off of this rating – at least not until something arises that is actually a ‘buyer beware’ defect. It’s simply just meant to inform the buyer in case they are thinking about these.

Outside of that, they are easy to setup and clip on, the air tags fit fine, they look pretty nice, and the price is probably the most attractive aspect of these holders. Hopefully this all didn’t come off too negative – obviously with a five-star rating i should think that would be assumed. Overall, i would recommend these and think that most will overlook the muffled beeping.

These holders offer a good value for the price. There are two water resistant cases ( one clear and one smokey colored) and two fake leather (one black and one brown). I used the water resistant models on my dog’s collars and the keychain style on carry items. The supplied attachment devices are like mini round carabiners that make them easy to snap on and off.

Hasn’t slipped out of the carrier or disconnected from my keychain. One of the questions it had was how waterproof it is but i didn’t expect these to be waterproof so not disappointed

The air tags fit into the holders easily and look really nice. We don’t intend to test the water resistance and hope not to need it, but that is a great feature to have. These holders seem like a great value.

Good product. Works as intended. If attaching to a dog collar with a metal ring; be careful. We ripped the rubber mounting hole on one of the covers.

Used these to put inside my luggage didn’t use in water so that has not been tested. But needed for your travel airpods. Highly recommended

The brown leather one is the best one. Does its job. Simple. Easy to use. Good product

I gave my husband an apple airtag because he has lost his keys quite frequently in the last year, causing some major inconvenience & panic. This keychain safely secures the airtag to his keys and protects it from getting lost or damaged. The keychain is classy and subtle. He is a farmer so i had to choose something durable and so far, so good. I also like the fact that there are multiple colors to choose from so we can easily pop out the airtag and switch keychains with ease.

Liked that they were weightless, sturdy and held the tags perfectly – also easy to clip on to any clasp in the suitcase and backpack !

The material used on the leather coverings are not exactly high quality, some string was sticking out meaning the sewing might not be too dependable. It was a temporary buy, wouldn’t buy again.

After finally realizing that you have to unsnap to button to actually slide the air tag in – i’m happy with the purchase. As others have mentioned slightly disappointed there wasn’t 4 actual key tags only 2 and then 2 other basic holders that may work out well since i’ve decided to put them on my dogs collars -:)

It said these are leather keychains, but in reality 2 of them are cheap plastic! But honestly, for the price, this is not a bad deal at all.

Well these did what they need to do….

It’s easy to use but the plastic cover don’t feel very secure. I know that it’s ‘just’ my feeling holding it. I bought it due to the ipx8 but i will not let it near water.
I thought of a test with a coin. I’ll give an update if it fails.
