Wait, what?! Oh my gosh, i was about to buy these! Why does it say 100% usa turkey, with our american flag?! I was actually trying to look on the front packaging in the first photo, and i believe it said calabasas, california, or something like that, but i couldn’t see below it. I’m so disappointed, and honestly, i feel really duped! I had 7 different kinds of treats from this brand in my cart, because i thought it seemed so reputable, particularly because of the *usa claim*. Outrageous. Would someone mind please getting back to me, who has information about these treats being from vietnam? I’d be extremely appreciative. Thank you so much! 🙂

How long do these stay fresh?
The packaging is quite thick, so i cut the top open and close back with a simple ‘chip clip’—my dogs love them so much but i try to limit them to 1 a day—or i cut one in half so they can have 1 1/2 per day. There is absolutely no odor with the twists. To date, there doesn’t seem to be an issue with the twists staying fresh.

I’m unsure as to why turkey tendons are so expensive? Seems like a heavily price gouged thing. It’s a tendon for crying out loud!
That living wage for everyone sure is not what some expected. We found these to be the most fair priced and quality for our addicted dog.
I have a small dog (10lbs) that needs a long lasting version of this item. Do you make one that lasts longer? Thanks
There are two 16 pound pugs in our family. They each devour these in 5-10 minutes max. They love them but……..not long lasting. I’ve found that “no hide” chews are good for more long time chews. Can’t remember the brand name right now

My dog loved these but choked on them. Did anyone find a treat holder that would close tight enough to hold these turkey strips?
My dogs love these too!!!! But unfortunately they do cause a choking hazard as my little dogs choke on theses when they eat them and i’m scared they will cause serious harm to my babies. What i did is cut them in smaller pieces so they can chew them easily or i soak them in water for a little bit to soften them up. Sadly, i personally wont be buying these again. I’m just too scared.

Do some shapes last longer than others?
It seemsreasonable that a thicker product might last longer. But, i do not have any personal experience to prove it. What i do know, from experience, is that small dogs love these tendons, because they eat them until they are gone. They may not last as long for small and big dogs, but that’s because they love them. Isn’t that the point — a tasty, natural treat?

The description on amazon (see above on this page) lists chicken as ingredient? Chicken is common allergen-why include chicken?
There is no chicken in this product. It has two ingredients, natural turkey tendons and coconut glycerin.
How long was this supposed to last? My corgi ate it in less than 10 minutes!
My shihtzu does the same. They are thin, i think a corgi could probably chew a thicker one. I believe this company has other sizes. I like the thin because my dog doesn’t gag on them.

There are 13-15 tendons per package, pretty close to a buck each. It’s a good thing we like dogs.

With all things ask your vet. But i don’t think anything consumed or eaten can be hypoallergenic. A animal (like people) can have an allergic reaction to a food or ingredient that they have eaten previously before even. It does seem to just have the two ingredients so if your dog has an intolerance or allergy to either the turkey tendon, or coconut glycerin (a preservative) i would not buy the product. My dog has had no problems with it and loves them. Although they are a bit high in calories. Good luck!

Usually product in soft and easily cut. This batch needs snippers to cut. Whats wrong with these, my dog cant chew it up?
These are hard to cut but my dog for some reason loves them. I have a beagle who eats almost anything—but these are her favorite. I seldom buy products from out of the usa because standards are different but these have always seemed ok, just hard to cut- but they are easier to chew than rawhide type products. Tendons also are tough-they connect muscles to bones.

It is a very good product although the answer to your question it does not last like a bone and the bigger the dog the faster they chomp it up. A smaller dog it’s more like a chew bone.
How many can a small dog (7#) have in one day?
I have two small dogs, one is a chicihana. I give them each three mid-morning and three as a snack in the evening, so six total. These sticks are really thin and addictive to dogs. Dogs devour them in no time. Plus because they are so expensive you would want to save some for later, so i say, for one small dog, i would give a total of six.

No. Much more then that. I never count them how many, but at least 10-14. It goes by the weight- 85g. When you buy a bone, it’s just one and pretzels are two inside- multiple tendons intertwined.
