Have two in the house now, very handy on iphone 12mini

This charger is the ideal size for traveling (or if you’re always on the go). While using the charger, i realized the battery can barely get my phone back to 90% from zero without completely draining the charger, but that’s to be expected with such a small charger. In addition, charging wirelessly does take a bit of time. Nonetheless, i think this is a great addition to any travel pack.

I like it being wireless, small, and it stick well to my mangetic iphone 14 pro case and the price is great.

I am highly dissatisfied with the product. I have used it as fully charged to charge my new iphone 14 pro max and it died after charging it from 37% to around 70%. Does not do what it says.
Edit: anker customer service reached out and quickly send in a replacement which is doing the job right. Thanks team.

I have tried several after market battery banks. Ive tried the pencil type, the brick, the built in case and other ‘magsafe’ batteries and this is by far the best one ive had. I dont go anywhere without it because its so easy to carry in pockets, not very heavy, not vey bulky no wires and it charges my iphone 13 pro completely. The magnet is strong and its comfortable to hold while charging my phone. I also love the texture.

It doesn’t stay charged for very long

So, i got this because it was on sale for bf, small and compact, magnetic, purple, and has wireless capability. I was really excited!

Unfortunately, after fully charging it, i was not able to charge it wirelessly on my android s22+. It would flash blue for about 15 seconds and then turn red. I tried it on my husband’s iphone and it worked fine. Also, the magnectic aspect of it only works well when the case is off.

I really wanted to love this but the fact that it does not charge wirelessly on my android, i don’t feel like paying $20 for it since i have many other portable chargers that works well (anker brand as well).

Update – i appreciate the seller reaching out to help remedy the situation. Although it didn’t work for me, my husband can use it. They sent me another charger that works so i’m very happy about that one. Thanks for checking on your customers and making sure they are happy!

Has advantages over the apple charger like you’d expect, physical switch, led indicators, usb-c, etc. The capacity is good enough for a top off if you’re out or just not near a charger, which is the main purpose of a light and portable charger like this. It fits my iphone 13 mini without hanging off the bottom, which is nice. The soft touch surface and light green color is pleasing, but i’ve noticed it stains pretty easily. I just use a black apple silicon case, and the power bank is noticeably discolored after a few months on the charging side. I don’t really care because it hasn’t affected my case at all.

My only nitpick is that it does get warm, especially if my phone is charging from less than 40% or so. I understand that the 13 mini being small means it has less thermal headroom than the big phones. But even the area around the power button and indicator lights will get very warm.

I like that it works on any phone compatible with wireless charging, even if the magnets don’t stick to it. Passthrough charging is its best feature. It works on my airpods, too. I can leave all lightning cables behind while traveling and just use this as a travel wireless charging pad using passthrough from the wall.

I had read a review that stated this product worked wirelessly with the s20+ so i thought i’d give it a shot… It does not. It will initially start to charge and then the battery will flash red and stop charging. Fortunately i was not counting on this since the description does clearly state it is for apple, but it would have been nice. The other options for android were either too big, expensive or some odd brand. This was exactly the size, quality and brand name i was looking for so wish it had worked. I got a good deal for black friday so i will hang on to this and just use the provided cable to charge my phone.

I love this little portable charger. It works great to charge my iphone 14 pro with magsafe, and works great to charge my juul. However, it will not charge 2 devices at the same time. So you cannot have your phone on charging on the magsafe with another device charging with the usb-c port at the same time. That’s kinda a let down. Ideally, to be able to change 2 devices at the same time would be better.

I’ve had great experience with anker brand products. This battery pack is one of those. Really like the look and feel when mag mounted to my phone. Seems to hold a charge forever. I had the battery fully charged and carried in my purse for months as a back up. It maintained the full charge no problems. The only thing i’d say is mag safe charging time with my phone (iphone 12 pro max) seems to take a long time. Also the battery and phone gets warm when doing so. Not too bad, and it did save my phone several times from being dead. Overall i’m happy with it.

Great looking wireless battery pack. Charging however is slow and battery life is only enough for one full charge

I am using this on an iphone 12 mini. I like that this battery matches the form factor of the phone. It will charge the phone only 1-2 times before emptying, which is to be expected given its form factor. My only complaint is that the phone will get very hot while using this so i really only use it for short charge ups.

I bought this to replace my regular portable charger and eliminate the need for a cord. The zanier battery pack is small and very convenient to carry. It securely attaches to the magsafe on the back of my iphone and charges with no issues. To charge the phone you do have to hit the power switch on the charger.

My only complaint about this pack is the charging capacity. On my iphone 12 pro max the anker pack will charge the phone to about 59% (if the phone isn’t in use). If you are using the phone you will get about 45% out of the charger. I don’t consider this too bad though because i only use it for emergencies where my phone is literally about to die and i don’t have access to a charger.

I would recommend this battery pack to anyone looking for one

This battery is priced much more fairly and has a higher capacity than apple’s own magsafe battery. Of course, you won’t get the software integration of apple’s battery with anker, but is the software features worth an extra $50-60, while losing out on battery capacity? That’s up to you.

Anker’s battery has a more than strong enough magnet that keeps itself locked into place, which would be a huge issue if it didn’t. I have an iphone 13 mini, and this battery charged my phone from roughly 35%-100% and still had a bit of battery left.

The thing about all magsafe batteries, though, is extremely low charging speeds. Anker’s battery suffers from this as well, i believe topping out at 5 watts. This is also an issue with apple’s version as well, though. I think eventually the manufacturers will figure out how to increase both charging speed and capacity in the future, but in the meantime this is one downside for me as you’ll have to keep the battery attached to your phone for hours if you’re trying to charge from less than 50% to full.

Something else i like about the battery is how well it fits with my iphone 13 mini. It’s aligned perfectly as if it were meant for the mini. This makes the previous issue of charging speeds less of an issue, because using your phone with the battery attached doesn’t feel overly cumbersome, in my opinion.

Another nice feature with anker’s magsafe battery (i believe apple’s version does this as well) is that you can plug the battery into the wall to keep it charged, then place your phone on top of it and use it as a charging pad. I believe you may even get slightly higher charging speeds with this method as well.

If you’re trying to decide over this battery or apple’s version, here’s an overview:

get the anker version if:
– you don’t care about software integration
– you prefer a larger capacity
– you don’t want to pay the ‘apple tax’

get apple’s version if:
– you do appreciate the software integration
– you only plan to use the battery to top off your phone’s battery in a pinch
– you like the all-white design and apple’s simplistic branding

A friend brought her’s to dinner and ordered mine before leaving the restaurant. Works well enough for my iphone 12 pro. It’s convenient to just slap on and charges relatively quickly enough.

I’d be much happier if the battery life were a bit better. With other anker devices i have, i will get multiple charges (~2, 2.5) out of them, and this one doesn’t seem to do that. A sacrifice for convenience, i suppose, which this one is.
