How many watts exactly & how many chargers can i get out of it?

Chargers – 01
charges – depends on size of the battery being charged.
Charge – cycle’s probably about 1000+, unless you do something to burn it out early

Can this product be charged while powering another device?

If you can charge the power bank you don’t need it to charge your phone. Just plug your phone in. In case you weren’t aware, this product is for when you do not have access to a outlet.

Will this charger get through tsa on international flights?

Generally, all external batteries with a capacity lower than 27027mah (100 watt hours) can legally and safely be taken on board airplanes according to federal transportation security rules.

Anker’s largest external battery is currently with 26800mah (96.48 wh) which is lower than the above 100 wh limit. We also mark the mah and wh information on the bottom of the portable battery. Powercore slim 10000 is only with 10000 mah battery capacity;

all of our powercores have capacities that meet the requirements to be taken on airplanes as carry-on baggage, but they are not allowed to be transported in checked luggage.

This charger can get through tsa on international flights;

many airlines may have their own regulations. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you confirm with your airline or airport before traveling with portable chargers to ensure problem-free flying.

Hope above information helps.

You could cut of the male micro-c plug, and after find what two wires are 5- and 5+ (online), stick the bared ends of the two wires into one ravioli until it gets hot. Caution statement* raviolis may explode.
Repeat until you eat all your raviolis.

Can it charge a device while it is being charged?

No it can not. They claim that they disabled that feature as it causes premature wear on the pack. However my 6 year old pack still works fine that is able to do this.

Can i charge this using solar panel (solarpad pro 5w)?

The input requirement of powercore slim 10000 is 5v/2a(10w). Generally speaking, we do not recommend our customer to recharge the powercore with the solar panel, since the current and voltage may be unstable and the charging experience may not be that good. However, if you want to recharge the portable charger with the solar panel, we suggest you charge the portable charger under direct sunlight, in that case, the current and voltage are stable.

What is email address to anker directly. Someone answered my question about charging phone with c to c cable and i know it worked before

I am not entirely sure to be honest but i guess just do anker customer service and it should pop up with the email.

How do i charge external battery itself?

The smaller end of the cable does not fit into my new iphone 12 wall adapter?

What model anker wall adapter do i need to buy to recharge the anker 10000 mah power bank?

Pretty much any standard usb (usb-a) wall charger will work. I would suggest an ‘anker elite usb charger dual port 24w wall charger’ for $12.99 on amazon. That model will put out (5 volts * 2.4 amps) = 12 watts / port.

How long does this charger last? Mine only lasted 2 months…

Mine did not work as well…only lasted for 2 months…..

Will this fast charge a pixel 4?

This is a ‘high speed poweriq’ charger. In my experience with the note 10 plus, it charges it slower than the charger that comes with the phone…. But it does provide a ‘quick charge’… Its just not that quick… I imagine the results would be the same for the pixel 4. It takes my note 10 plus an hour to charge from zero to 100 with the wall charger… With this charger, it takes a little over 2 hours… But i do use it as its being charged, so i guess that plays a part also. Hope this helps

How do i get this to work? Because it’s not working for me

Please note the usb c port is just an input port and it could not charge devices from the usb c port, please charge your phone from the usb a port to see if it works; if the troubleshooting fails, please contact our customer service for hassle-free support.

What this work with iphone 6 10000mah cell phone external battery pack, portable phone charger power bank 5v 3.1a fast charging mobile phone charger c

Yes this will work with an iphone 6. Your normal usb to lightning cable will simply plug into this device just as it would your white ‘box’ used for charging from a 110v socket in your home. Thanks for your interest!

Fast charging

A must have product for traveling outside your home or out on trips that don’t allow you to get the charge you need with no outlet nearby. I can easily get 2-3 extra full battery charges on my iphone se. Using it on my oculus quest 2 gets me a few extra hours of playtime on top of maintaining a full battery. Also a great cheaper option for those not needing a more expensive battery which can weigh more and take more space. The size is about the size of a normal phone. It’s quick to charge and quick to charge your other devices. Having a usb c and micro usb port makes it easier to charge regardless on what chargers you like to use. Lights help display the charge accurately and pressing the button will also make the light turn green to turn on trickle mode to not wear out your other devices battery while you’re away.

I have likes everything anker i’ve bought

I trust the company anker for good quality and good products that are cheaper than apple products. There are a lot of power banks on amazon but i have watched some reviews on the cheap chinese products that lie about mah. I know i am getting what i paid for when i buy anker, so i don’t mind paying a little more. These were on sale and charge our iphone 13’s 2+ times before needing to be recharged.

Always dependable! Always #anker!

You can never go wrong with anker! We just got this battery before hurricane ian hit florida! We thought we were ground zero(tampa bay) but as we know it turned in south of our area. Power outage was a given(48-72 hours if not longer) so we charged up the anker battery. I was able to keep various small electronics running with just one charge that allowed me to watch weather reports on my phone(via hulu). I am an anker fan- always have been always will be!
Thank you anker for making such great dependable products!

Anker makes great devices

I have to say that my experience with anker devices has always been positive. I have a bunch of them and look to them first when buying stuff like this. We have a couple of smaller anker power banks and one that is the same capacity as this but it is quite a bit bigger. The only knock on this one compared to the bigger one is that the usb-c is an input only port to charge the power bank whereas the old one goes both ways. Otherwise, it is just as good, lasts as long and is slightly smaller and less heavy.

Not the best looking but sturdy and reliable.

Got this one at a really good price from one of the youtuber on her travel vlog. Not as good looking as some of the ones i have own but looks sturdy and i trust the anker brand from some of the lightening cables i have purchased before. Looking forward to using it on my day trips along with other day trip essentials i bought from the same travel vlog.

Puts charge into my s8 quickly

I bought this a few months ago as ’emergency backup’, if i happened to be away from a charging source (so, not in a building or car; generally for camping and the like). The battery in my galaxy s8 has degraded over time, and i wasn’t ready to get spendy on a new phone, nor did i look forward to ‘cell phone surgery’ to replace the battery (the days of popping off the case back and swapping out in a minute or two are long gone, sad to say). So i ordered this up. At 10,000 mah, i figured i should get enough charge to get me through a jam.

If you’re thinking… ‘s8! That’s a dinosaur!’ — you’re likely rocking something much more current, and aren’t worried about off-grid power. Yet. But remember — all batteries degrade with time.

After having used it… My thoughts
– takes a bit to charge up, once discharged (so once you’ve discharged, plan ahead). Especially the first time.

– however, once it’s charged up, the self-discharge rate is slow, so you don’t have to constantly keep it plugged into a wall wart, etc. You can charge this up, once conditioned, and pack it away for a few weeks to a few months.

– the 4 led meters on the front are handy for determining soc / time to charge

– form factor on this is very similar to the dimensions on my s8 (although a little thicker, and of course, heavier)

– a shorter usb a usb-c cable does double duty — usb a to bring the charge to the phone / device via usb-c, then remove & flip usb-c into the input of the anker, while plugging the ‘a’ end into any compatible port to recharge it.

– comes with a black cloth bag with drawstring closure, which is nice to keep that short usb cable together with the device. Nothing fancy, but useful.

– and probably the best, after using qi-wireless for 90% of the time over the life of the g8 — this thing puts juice into the phone, quickly. I can go from 5-15% charge to 30% in under 30min. Not sure how many amps it’s charging at (rated at ‘up to 12’ -?), but it’s definitely quick. If you’re caught somewhere without power (or even if you’re not) — this device is a lifesaver (figuratively & perhaps literally, i guess).

Technically, i guess you’re not supposed to use the phone while charging with a power bank, but it comes in handy for those times where you need to use the phone a little longer, but need a little juice to tide you over (it juices the phone so fast–especially vs. Qi-wireless–that you say ‘i might as well just keep it hooked up to this)). I think it’ll charge close to 100% in about 90 minutes, maybe less.

– since my g8 battery is ~ 3800 mah (?), i can get up to two full charges out of this thing, or many ‘partial’ charges. From full, 30 minutes’ time on the g8 doesn’t even remove one ‘dot’ from the 4-light meter. This is real value, in my book. Because most of the time, i can get back to a power source in 30min or so.

So… For what i’m using it for, which is to buy time until i decide to finally (!) upgrade my phone, and keep the s8 running a little while longer… It’s an excellent accessory, from a trusted company. Since this has been out a while, and been superseded by higher-cap devices, solar-capable chargers, etc. — it’s also cheap — about the cost of one of those replacement battery kits (with batteries that came from who knows where).

Not often i unequivocally give the full 5-stars… But this product gets them from me. Recommended.
(oh, and mine came new in a box, so if yours doesn’t… Get in touch with anker for a new replacement)

Lifesaver

We purchased this portable charger for hurricane ian. Works really well. We charged 2 phones to 100%. The portable charger still had 3 dots so we could have charged them at least 2 more times. I found my stocking stuffers for this christmas the anker portable charger. Excellent!!!

Clutch!

Recommend that device for anyone and everyone who moves about on a daily basis. Also great to have in case of a power outage.

Before placing electrical outlets everywhere became so common including public transportation, i had to use public spaces such as coffee shops and libraries to juice up. This allows you to continue to travel in your direction and focus on the journey. I’ve used it for waiting in airports to being in the middle of nature. Something good to start with.

Recharging the anker itself from a dead battery to full maybe takes half a day or so, so keep that in mind and pay attention to how many bars you have pretty often in order to avoid being stuck.

Peace !

Charges your stuff, no fuss

Bought two of these portable chargers for a road trip. They arrive brand new with approx half charge, and do take a few hours to charge up till they’re full capacity. That being said, they were perfect for the road trip. Charged phones, portable fans, and allowed both to be running while charging. There is no usb-c charging, but that’s fine, as it says that in the guide. If you have a usb cable, you can charge and power to your hearts content. The portable fan was run on a beach for a few hours, and charged from dead to full multiple times without putting a dent in the portable charger. Extremely satisfied with the purchase. Just be sure to give yourself time to make sure these have time to get charged to full.

So good i got 6

I initially got one of these for christmas. Size is perfect for my needs and they are great for travel.

I came back and got 5 more for my camera bag. I often spend a few days out videoing events and these keep my gear going.

I’ll probably add a few more to this year’s christmas list.

Becoming too much of a hassel

**edit- i changed my review from 3 to 4 stars because of the customer service from anker. I still stand by what i said about including the cord**
so this review is solely on the convenience and compatibility of the device because i haven’t been able to actually use it i bought it originally because i was put on modified duty at work for an injury and all i do is sit all day and do nothing. There’s nowhere to charge my phone so i started looking for power banks compatible with iphone 12. This is the first one that popped up and i skimmed the reviews. All was good so i purchased it. I should have looked more into it because the micro usb part is input only okay so that’s the first road block. So back to amazon i go and i find the cablecreation 0.5 feet short lightning to usb data sync cable. This was literally suggested for this device. I wasn’t too thrilled about spending more money but i’m going to be bored to death for the next month or so and would like to keep my sanity. So that cable came today and the lightning usb part is too large for the power bank output ‍ so now i have to return it and attempt to find another one. My suggestion is anker start offering the portable chargers with the cables. I’d gladly pay more to have the cables with and ready to go vs going through all this madness. And side note- it takes a few hours just to charge it all the way (5-6+ to be exact).

Decent charger for the cost

I to replace my ravpower charger. I wanted the same model which was small, light and had long battery life and fast charge. I was sad to learn ravpower is no longer sold through amazon. So i looked at other brands. I like anker and use them for my wall chargers. I found this model and it fit the bill. It’s no frills and about the size of an iphone. Great for traveling. However, the charger is really heavy compared to the ravpower. Additionally, it has no protection should it fall to the ground and because it’s heavy i can envision it cracking tiles, denting wooden floors and if it falls it may also break the casing. Maybe an optional protective case might be offered at some point? I’d pay a little extra to be able to put some rubber on the corners so when it falls it has a modicum of protection. As for the other parts, the charger charges up pretty quickly so it’s ready to use again in less than an hour. The charge life is pretty good too. It fully charges my iphone 13 in about 20 minutes. I could probably get 2 full charges out of this model before having to recharge the charger. Overall, i’m happy, especially with the price.

Ok for intended purpose

Its not that heavy. Seems to charge well however also seems to discharge its juice too quickly even doing so more than the older same model i have while in the car awaiting its purpose. I have taken to ensuring that both are charged when i want a long day of power.

Must have fast charger

So far i haven’t been able to use it yet. I had it charging all night and then some with a slow charger and it didn’t function right. The lights kept blinking fast and went out. Had no idea what the status was. I bought another brand just in case (b**v*r) and that one’s indicator functioned fine with the slow charger. So it charges but the indicator malfunctions if you use a show charger.

What's the fuss?

The first thing i do when i buy from amazon is look at the negative reviews of the product. I can say that, in my experience, the negative reviews are very wrong for this product. The big issue that i’ve seen is that you can’t charge your device from the ‘type-c’ port… Not only does it say that on the description, it also says it on the device. As far as charging goes, i have a samsung galaxy a525g. I get, bottom to top, 3 charges on this battery pack. That’s not frickin bad. I thought i would only get 2 full charges but i got 3. I also run a usb fan. On low power with the fan, it lasted almost 9 hours. With a usb light, it lasted over 16 hours of constant use. In my opinion, this battery pack is well worth the money. And as of now (8/4/22) they have it on sale and an 30%off coupon. You’d be a fool not to get one. I just got 2 more.

4Expert Score
It’s pretty decent

I like the new slim look but sucks it has only one port to charge one thing at a time, also i am not sure if it’s because it’s new but putting the cables requires a little force, it gets stuck and then you really gotta push in the cable but other than that so far the battery doesn’t die quickly and charging my phone barley made it drop down one. The one being the little lights that let you know what percentage is.

4Expert Score
Mostly good, one flaw.

Very high capacity, can charge my phone several times before needing to charge it.

Downside is that charging the unit is finicky and takes several attempts to get a full charge. I plug it in and it blinks to say charging, awhile later when i come back it’ll be done but isn’t 100% when i push the button.

Don’t know if mine has a defect or if i’m doing something wrong, but that’s pretty annoying compared to my cheaper power banks that i can just plug in and forget about until they’re full.

Great charger, unfortunately no usb-c output

Anker has always been a reliable battery park manufacturer for me. I generally use their larger battery packs, but purchased two of these 10,000 mah packs for international travel.

They work great, charge fast, and always charge more times than i was originally expecting. They are very company, and fit well into any backpack, fanny pack, or medium purse.

My reason for 4/5 stars is that there are two inputs for charging the pack usb c and micro usb, but there is no usb c output. This was clearly stated in the product’s description, and i saw it when i ordered, but in practicality it is much more inconvenient than i originally envisioned.

4Expert Score
Nice charger with carrying case

Nice charger but slimmer and less power than some. It’s got 10000 mah so that’s better than a top phone which would be 5000

Currently not working

I bought this for a trip to europe in july. I was able to use it once and get a full charge on my phone. However, on my next trip (this september) it would not hold a charge nor charge my phone. I tried returning it, but apparently i’m beyond the return window. Update: the seller reached out to me and gave me a refund.
