ARM & HAMMER Clump & Seal Platinum Cat Litter, Multi-Cat, 40 lb

No, this is not fragrance free. It is a strong perfume smelling scent that fills the entire room. I like the litter very much but i will not buy it again due to the frangrance.

Dr. Elsey’s is hypo-allergenic and this isn’t. We switched to this and our cat started having lots of skin issues, licking bare spots, etc. We’re switching back to dr. Elsey’s. If your cat doesn’t have skin allergy problems, then this is better in terms of dust / smell. But, if any of you have the same problem as our cat, then keep in mind this may be the reason. I had to pick up mine at the post office too. It was a strain for the person who carried it to the car for me. Then there was a wait until a helper could take it from the car and divide it into manageable weighted containers. You might ask the seller about other options.

This litter is not unscented.

I love the platinum a&h litter, it’s track and dust-free, very easy to clean the clumps stay clumped, when you re-fill the cat box there’s no cloud of dust to choke you. I really don’t notice any fragrance coming from the platinum like the other a&h litter, but is great at keeping cat smells from drifting out. I’ve used all but the lightweight litter from arm & hammer and platinum is the best. ☆☆☆☆☆

Good luck. I’ve tried about all of them. Any clay litter will track. I have found, however, mixing arm and hammer 100% dust free with some dr. Elsays unscented works pretty good. You most likely won’t find a litter that “stays in the box”. Some of the arm and hammer that say unscented do have a scent when the cat pees in it. It’s pungent! Most of the arm and hammer ones are more like sand. Can’t see it as well but it does track. I sweep 1-2 times a day around the 2 boxes i have. I would not have inside cats again because of litter boxes.

No idea

I tried it awhile ago and found the original clump & seal worked better living in a very humid, tropical area. It may work great in more dry areas or they may have improved the formula.

I prefer slide because it really does clump better. I have fewer little pieces shaking loose and falling through the slits in my scoop. I don’t believe i’ve tried micro shield.

I’ve not used dr. Elsey’s cat litter so i can’t compare the two. But i can say that my cat was urinating frequently (we discovered he has diabetes) and arm & hammer’s litter became like cement. I would never buy it or use it again.

Yes. I did. They did not give me my money back as guaranteed. Instead, they sent a coupon for another arm and hammer litter that i will not be using.

I think the subscription only allows once a month but not sure.

My cat has had no health problems using this product. I find for myself, it is dust free and easy to clean up.
I highly recommend this product.

Its a clumpable litter – not pellets – more like sand – to me it is the best litter out there.
