These are really good sketch books in my opinion. The papers kind of softer and thicker. I was surprised at the thickness of the paper actually. I bought them for christmas presents for my two children. They both like to sketch and watercolor paint. I think the papers thick enough that the watercolor will not seep through. We shall find out.

An absolute must buy for an young artist in the family. My kids absolutely loved this item and a great price!

This was given as a gift. The product is well made and constructed. I think it was a good value for my money.

Great gift! This was a gift for my niece. She absolutely loved them they were perfect fit that went right into her backpack going to schoolor on the bus. She could use them for both colored pencil and marker. My niece is constantly drawing, so to find these art sketch books that you can sketch on both sides were perfect. Very cost effective. All i wanted to do is get her more of what she wanted. I’m not getting paid for this. Just a really good deal and really good quality

While doing the first sketch my pencil poked through and ripped the paper on several accounts. This can be a perfectly fine sketchbook for some, just keep in mind the lack of paper quality you sacrifice for a cheaper price. I recommend using a softer pencil, i like sketching with a mechanical pencil (because i’m a monster) which can get very sharp if you use one side of the lead too frequently.

This, in my area of the country, is pretty well priced for these books. The paper feels nice and does very well with an eraser while sketching. The paper color is a bit darker than pure white, but this hasn’t been an issue. The notepad hasn’t had any damages while traveling in my backpack. One thing worth noting is that one of my notebooks, which lives in my basement office, has begun to wilt, making the paper wavy, from the humidity. The humidity has been kept under 50% and the printer paper hasn’t had the same issue, just worth mentioning.

I got these for my so because she loves drawing, painting, and doodeling. The paper is great for drawing on and has a nice texture. It takes acrylic as well, even though i’m not sure if it was made for it. Sometimes you just want a piece of paper rather than taking a chance on a pricier canvas if you’re messing around.

I feel like this double set of spiral-bound sketch books is a good value considering some places charge the same amount for one book. These would also be great for kids and a few hundred pages will keep them busy for a long time.

These notebooks would make such a great gift for the budding artist in your life. They are far from ‘professional quality’ but still great for kids or teens. The pages are really not that thick (pencils, crayons, and maybe markers can work but paints of any kind are a no-go in my opinion). The spiral binding is decent and gets the job done! My kids have been pretty rough on these notebooks and they have yet to fall apart.

Overall a good product and i like that it comes in a 2 pack.
