While these aren’t expensive binocs, they worked quite well, for a while. I have to admit i bought them 2 years ago, so they are undoubtedly past warranty – but they’ve spent almost all that time in a drawer in our rv (maybe a total 30 minutes use!). Tried to use them yesterday, and the focusing wheel just spins. I really expected more, and hope that this is just a fluke. Another pair purchased at nearly the same time are still working great. Disappointed, but they were good while they lasted.

Edit (upgraded to 5 stars; here’s why): i don’t often review a product i’ve purchased. I generally assume they’ll be as advertised, and if not i’ll just figure it’s the luck of the draw. The thing is, i really liked these binoculars, so when they crapped out on me i was totally disappointed, and wanted to warn others that while they were nice binocs, they just might not last like they should. I didn’t expect anything from aurosports, but a few days after i posted my 2-star review i got an email from them asking if i would like to have a replacement. (they even asked if both binocs i purchased had gone bad, but i told them it was only the one.) they offered to replace them, and i accepted their offer. Today a new binocular was delivered, and i’m so happy! Thank you to aurosports for going above and beyond! Good binocs to be sure, and outstanding customer service!

Received this on october 17, 2022. They were for my grandson but of course granny had to try them out. My grandson loves them.

I bought these as a replacement for a pair of mini-binoculars that were stolen from me recently, and i was pleasantly surprised at the price. My previous pair was also purchased at about $10 and after i lost them i thought ‘there’s no way i’m ever gonna find a pair for that cheap again’. Amazingly, i stumbled across these, and i have to say they work far better than i’d expected. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cheap set of binoculars.

I ordered a pair of these for myself, having somehow misplaced a significantly more expensive pair of celestron’s i liked to take with me on hikes and out on my kayak. I honestly wasn’t expecting a lot for this price and had never heard of the company. When i tried them out, however, i was very surprised at how crisp and clear the optics are. I actually like them quite a bit better than the celestron’s, which were 5 x the cost of these. I ended up ordering a second pair for my sister as a gift. They seem to be very well constructed and have a nice, easy to grip finish, while being just the right size and weight to carry along on outings where you wouldn’t want a large clunky pair of binoculars dangling around your neck. Definitely a well made, quality pair of binoculars for a very reasonable price. Worth every penny.

Small and compact. Great for things you normally can’t see at a distance. Great price.

Bought this for my bird-watching mother, but i seem to be the using them more often, lol. They offer a very clear and sharp view, it is easy to change the focus, and i like that they come with the cover and lens cover as well. Just have to remember to take them out when we go walking!

We like it because it is what we ordered. It came earlier than expected and it was what we wanted

Pros: *lightweight, easy to focus *i can remove my 2.5 reading glasses and the binoculars still work, i can read a license plate a block away (so i should be able to see whales on a cruise or a production on a stage). *one piece cover for eyepiece lenses.
Cons: *no cover for the lenses facing away from you, the cover they do give you covers both eye pieces, but does not attach to the binoculars.
Summary: very happy with this purchase. I won’t need to worry about the public binoculars/telescopes on the ship all being used. I used a string to attach the eyepiece cover to the binoculars (where the strap for your neck attaches) so it won’t get lost.

I bought this small size and another more expensive larger size, and these are super sharp and clear. Great little set.

These binoculars are pretty good compared to the bushnell’s i bought around the same time that cost twice as much. I compared the two and returned the bushnells and kept these. Clear vision, easy to adjust, lightweight, good distance viewing. For an inexpensive pair of binocs these work well. I mainly want them for concert viewing and watching surfers and other sea life while camping on the ocean bluffs. Good enough.

I’ll be honest, i’m new to birdwatching and this is my first pair of binoculars. So i don’t know whether what i am about to say is par for the course, or specific to these binoculars. If this is simply the way they are, ignore my complaint!

That said: i find that by the time i adjust the lenses, the bird i am looking at is gone! First i have to adjust the binoculars so that i see only one, not two, circles. Then i close one eye and adjust with the central dial till what i am looking at is clear, then i close the other eye and adjust with the opposite lens (i am sure i am using the wrong terms). Only then can i see the object (or bird) clearly. But literally, most of the time the bird has left, or moved. There is no way to follow a moving target and have the image remain clear. And i can’t see anything super close up. That may be because these are bargain priced binoculars. Maybe higher end ones self-adjust, i have no idea. Sorry 🙁

still, even with those limitations, i’m still glad i have these and keep them with me when bird watching, mostly in my backyard!

Very good binoculars for the money but a little larger than i was expecting, to large to fit in your pocket.

Clear vision, lightweight, easy to use. Have to open up each time if kept in case, which can slow down the viewing..otherwise, great.

It just arrived yesterday, so here are my initial thoughts. It seems well made and the optics are noticeably better than a comparably priced pare of binaocs that i had been using. The low-light collection is superior. The clarity is very good.

I like the heavily textured grips. When the weather is cold, that will be appreciated. I plan on using them while hunting so that will be a plus.

Here is my biggest problem. It is the limited pupillary distance that the binoculars can be adjusted to. That is the distance between the center of each of our eyes. Is is very limited to about 2 1/4 inches to 2 3/4 inches (rough estimate) . My eyes are someone close together and it is on the very limit of being comfortable with these binoculars.

If your eyes are closer together or farther apart than 2 3/4′ from pupil to pupil, then get ready to return them.

I’m giving them a 4 star for that reason. I think the grips could have been designed a bit differently to allow a farther spread range between the oculars.

I live near a bird reserve and visit it often, sometimes several times a week. I wanted a pair of binoculars to keep in my car to help me better enjoy the birds.

Pro

– i like the compact size. Fits great in my glove box. Easy to grab
– comfortable enough for me to use, but small enough for my kids to adjust as well.
– double adjustments for focus. Right eye, then overall, gives a better focus
– decent magnification, fairly clear
– easy to use right out of the box
– nice case

con

– the accompanying neck strap is not super secure or high quality
– doesn’t work great in low light
– if you are looking for high magnification and sharp details, these are not what you’re looking for – you’ll pay more for that.

Overall, i’m happy with them. They work great for what i bought them for. I recently bought a second, different, higher magnification pair for an upcoming trip to yellowstone, but i will definitely be bringing and using both.

For the price, this is a pretty decent little pair of starter binoculars. I got these last year and they have come with me on all my hikes. I got into bird watching last year and i’ve been able to spot lots of new wildlife with these. They have very low night vision, so don’t expect to see much through them when it starts getting dark. You can still see things in dusk, but they’re a bit fuzzy.
The image quality is good in day light. You can see pretty far out. I am unsure if other boniculars let you see further out, but i imagine these are great for a beginner.
They’re small and light enough to easily hang around your neck.
While i intend to get a better pair in the future, these continue to be good fun to use.

These aren’t the best binoculars you can buy i was an enviro sci major as an undergrad and i’ve seen some very cool scientists’ equipment, but these will do. I did two assignments (one for mammals, the other for birds) with these binoculars. They have the basic adjustments and can see quite a bit further than the camera on my cell phone. I will continue to bring these with me on hikes and may need them to complete my master’s degree. They’re lightweight so good to carry in your bag ‘just in case’ (if you’re that person, i know i am) but they may bounce right off the strap, leaving it a mystery if you’ll retrieve them or lose them. I recommend not putting them on the provided strap unless quite sure of oneself.

Bought these for my 4 year old and they are beyond excited about them. We of course tried them out and think they work good. Definitely not a high end super expensive pair, but they get the job done.
