I just doodle a bit. This has done great for pen and pencil. Has held up well in my backpack.

I really love this sketchbook. The paper is tough and is not smooth which is what u was looking for. I really like how you can tear from the top and the paper is still really big. The book is kind of big so for travel you will need a big enough bag for it. I recommend this product for sure!

I highly recommend this sketch pad if you are into pen and ink or charcoals. The pages are sturdy and the value for your money is spectacular. I wasn’t so confident when purchasing this item because it doesn’t have a lot of description about it. But the pages feel thick and the ink does not run through when i do pen and ink drawings.

Bought it for my 16 year old daughter who loves to sketch, paint and draw with various media. Great quality as she likes this sketch pad to carry with her and for school. Will buy again!

Update: the paper is actually very scratchy. It seems to grab graphite and pigment a ton when you least want it to and not at all when you do. I take back my comparison to lenox 100 (the lenox has a finer tooth). Rapidographs and fountain pens seem to almost snag on the fibers of the paper. So 4 stars instead of 5 now. Other than that: this is a good cheap little sketch pad for taking camping or to the beach or even just to use regularly. Paper feels like a lighter lenox 100. Above is a picture of different pens and a pencil on it. The wing sung 3009 and muji fountain both have platinum carbon ink in them and the rest of the pens have exactly the type of ink you’d expect. The pencil is an old lead holder and the lead in it is also circa 1958 but it feels about like an hb. I tried to get the contrast set so the platinum ink in the pic matched the page but i think it is still a little light. I’ve had no bleeding issues even with the brush pen but the tooth of the paper feels a little rougher than i’d like for pen and a little smoother than i’d like for pencil but it does both decently just like it claims. I’m sure if you sanded the surface slightly it would become great for charcoal and pencil but it is fairly thin. I haven’t tried but you’ve got 100 pages to ruin at 10¢ a piece.

The quality of the paper is great but the cardboard backer board is a little flimsy to draw on directly without the pad curving.

Seems to be good quality for a non-pro like me. I use it to draw whatever interests me. It creates a lot of eraser crumbs which i assume is due to the texture of the paper. If you erase a lot (i erase a lot if i want to get something right, like the eyes) the surface of the paper will thin and you’d have to be careful about a tear.

Love the sketchpad and did lots of sketches with it

It’s pretty much perfect for beginners but it’s not white it has a tent to it besides that though it’s really nice

The item is good. But makes a lot of mess when you rip the page off.
