Does this have a tracking chip so you can use a app to find them?

Yes, use find my to track your beats studio buds on a map or play a sound to locate them.

Find my requires an iphone or ipod touch with ios 14.5 or later, ipad with ipados 14.5 or later, or mac with macos big sur 11.3 or later. Customers must have an apple id and be signed into their icloud account with find my enabled

Do they automatically connect when you put them into your ears? And does the music pause when you take them out?

They automatically connect once you take them out of the case but they dont pause when you take them out of your ears.

Are these good for working out?

They fall out easily when working out.

How do they work for laptop video calls, especially the microphone? Will my audience listen to me well?

I have been told i sound like i am in a well with these. I would not recommend these. I am looking at other options.

How are these compared to airpods pro i’m referring to noise cancellation the buds staying in your ears and sound quality

Beats studio buds are true wireless earphones designed for full control over your music. Active noise cancelling (anc) blocks unwanted external noise, and you can use transparency mode to hear your surroundings with the touch of a button.

Delivering premium sound the proprietary layered drivers deliver powerful, accurate bass response and outstanding stereo separation. Driver and nozzle are precisely aligned to direct sound into your ear for the best acoustics. An advanced digital processor optimizes audio performance for clear sound.

Beats studio buds have a compact in-ear design, the laser-cut, micro-vented earbuds relieve ear pressure for extended use. You can choose from three pairs of ear tips in different sizes for a personalized fit

It slips off , are there like hook attachment so it won’t ? (i move a lot at work )

Not that i am aware of. If that’s the case i would recommend the powerbeats pro which are still totally wireless but they have the ear hooks for lots of movement.

Is there volume control like turning up/down the volume without using your phone?

Yes in a jan 2022 update they added a volume option that can be done by holding down the buds which will replace the listening mode option if you prefer.

Will these work with a dell laptop

I have a hp laptop and was able to connect with it. Yours should be able to as well.

Would these work and be fine in a dry sauna that gets pretty hot?

Yes i work out with these and go to work with them. Good under pressure no doubt.

Can you charge them on a charging pad?

I tried. No. The charging light does not go on.

How do they do in extreme cold?

I worked in a freezer and it worked very well for me

One of my ear pieces got destroyed. Is it possible to purchase a replacement that could be paired with my other one?

I don’t know. My thought is no because each pair has its own serial number and pairs to devices as a set…but i could be wrong. I would go directly to the company and call them. (apple)

Are they really suppose to last 8 straight hours ? Because mine last about 4-4.5 hours ?

They last about 7-8 hours with anc off at moderate volume levels. But only 4-5 hours with anc on and max volume levels.

Can i buy just the left ear bud?

but not from amazon

beats are sold in pairs only, commercially.

Can you buy these with smart pay

I lost one how do i buy just one ear bud ?

You can’t. New set $

Do they work with the acer computer?

If acer is bluetooth compatible, then yes.

Standard size?

They come with 3 size changeable ear piece. I got them for my husband and he uses the size middle size.

Are these good for the gym?

Yeah because they are wireless and the sound is perfect to get in the zone

Compared to 4 other earbuds…

I bought these earbuds along with 4 other pairs, with the intent of comparing them over a couple weeks and returning all but my favorite. Here were the results:

beats fit pro –
pros – these buds had some great base, and the wingtip gave them a fit that made them refuse to fall out of my ears. But the best feature? Physical “clicky” buttons on each one of the buds. You press in and hear/feel the click, rather than relying on a touchscreen-like feature. No need to guess if you tapped them once or twice, you will know.
Cons – the wingtip gives a very sturdy fit, but not the most comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone with smaller ears. The noise canceling was solid, but nothing special. And this may be picky, but i didn’t care for most of the color schemes available. I prefer my earbuds to be hard to notice, and even the black ones have a bright red letter “b” in the middle.

Beats studio buds –
pros – very comfortable with the same great physically “clicky” buttons as the beats fit pro. Noise canceling seemed slightly better than average. Great base. Classic look.
Cons – tested during a workout, a little bit of sweat had these sliding right out of my ear. The case for these earbuds also was the flimsiest of any i had tested, with a very weak hinge that i was scared of breaking off within the 2 weeks of using.

Samsung galaxy buds pro –
pros – a neat feature that i noticed only in these earbuds was that it had noise amplification as well as noise cancelation. With one swipe in the app, the surrounding sound was actually louder and clearer than it would be without the earbuds in. Great if you are hard of hearing, or just enjoy snooping on conversations out of reach.
Cons – similar to the beats studio buds, these didn’t stay in during a workout. They were usable, but every 10 minutes i found myself pushing them back into my ear. And this is an opinion, but these are the ugliest earbuds out of the bunch. The shiny black gleam made it look like a large beetle was hanging out in my ear. No visible brand placement either, which makes them appear cheap and generic rather than the quality samsung they are.

Samsung galaxy buds live –
pros – cost effective! I added these to the test group because of the unique shape, and for that they are worth giving a try. If you have small ears and do not like the rubber insert that is standard in most other earbuds, these may be perfect for you.
Cons – poor fit for large ears. These were tested the least of all of the buds, because the fit was so bad for my ear shape that they wouldn’t stay in if i turned my head too fast.

Bose quietcomfort –
pros – bose noise canceling is unmatched. If your primary use for earbuds is to cancel out that background white noise, this is the pair for you. The sound quality is great, not too heavy on the base. The case for the earbuds stood out from the rest as the only one that impressed me. Felt very study, and i had no worries tossing it into a gym bag or cup holder. The only case with a button latch to make sure it doesn’t open accidentally.
Cons – this was the most expensive pair of earbuds by a longshot, and there were still some things i felt could be improved. The rubber inserts had more of a “flayed” shape rather than the “rounded” shape that is standard. My guess is that this was by design, because the earbuds were also slightly heavier than others and may need that extra in-ear grip. The flayed shape did make them sturdier, but at the cost of them being uncomfortable in an active situation. They were also the largest earbuds, and stuck out from the side of my head further than i would have liked.

My favorite? The beats fit pro! While i wouldn’t recommend this pair for everyone, it was perfect for my routine. My music taste benefits from the boosted base, and the wingtip shape was perfect for any workouts. The feature that really convinced me was the physical buttons, something that i didn’t realize how desperately i needed.

You get what you buy

For $99.99, i’ve bought it without thinking it twice. I have the headphones and thought it’ll be the same with the buds.
Though it’s slightly different
-the sound quality is lower
-the case itself is plastic.
However, this has a lot of potential!
-unlike the apple with a touch is sensitive it’s a button that’s on the earbuds and you can click for different commands.
-for me doesn’t hurt for having the buds in for a along time and has various sizes for the buds if it doesn’t fit your ear. ( i’d say about two different sets in the package)
when the battery is low ( which lasts 8 hrs) a sound tells you in advance around 15%.
If you take one earphone out while the other is on, it’ll keep on playing music or videos.
I had no problem with the pairing.
Also, in the setting of the beats, there is an option for noise cancellation or ambient. Which is pretty amazing! The noise cancellation is the best.
The charger is really short in length. It’s a type c. So i recommend getting a longer charger if you want to.
Overall, it’s a great buy! Though you do need to get a case cover for this because it feels fragile with the plastic case it has.

Nice alternative to apple airpods pro

Dear beats,

i bought this headset for my wife in black. It was easy to pair and you can use either the left or the right earbud by itself which is nice because when one earbuds runs out of battery you can use the other one for a few hours. The case takes a lightening adapter and charges fully regardless of what kind of power brick you’re using. For the price these are a good deal. Pairing was as easy as open the lid next to your iphone and then follow the on screen steps. Charges fully in about a couple of hours and will last you 20+ hrs with the case. The only thing i wished it had was qi wireless charging ability otherwise, these are nice for the price.

Almost a month later… I am using these headsets for my m1 mba and my iphone 13pro. One nice thing about this is that you can switch devices within a matter of seconds and a push of a button either on your iphone or your macbook. Second nice thing is that you can use the headset individually. One earbud could be in your ear and the other one in the case. It doesn’t matter which on you use first but i’ve been using the right one, depleting it, and then put it back into the case to charge when i’m not using it and switch to the left one. The case holds a good amount of charge. With average use, the case can charge the earbuds fully about twice before everything needs to be charged. Tapping on the earbuds pauses whatever you’re listening to or watching. The right bud is for increasing volume and the left bud is to decrease volume. You have to push and hold down for the volume to change. It charges via usb c which is nice. It also sound pretty good when just using it for talking. Overall, i am happy with the headsets.

I thought these were a lie!

I got these because i washed my airpods over a year ago and haven’t been able to afford new one. Bought these for prime day and omg.

I thought the noise cancellation/transparency thing was a lie so i tested it this morning while i was getting ready for work and it’s not! It actually works! It of course doesn’t block 100% of the noise but blocks most of it.

The sound is also incredible.

My mom is even jealous so now i’m thinking of getting it for her for christmas

Better than expected

Easy to pair with devices. Come it real handy when my husband is practicing guitar with his amp, i can still watch tv. Great sound quality. Cancels almost all noise. Only thing i would change is the ability to change the volume on the buds but not a big issue. Beats quality design. Mine i bought used but battery still holds for a long period of time i’ve actually never had them die on me and i rarely charge them.

Good noise canceling earbuds for the price

I like these, got them for listening to music while mowing the lawn. The battery life is great. Sound quality is ok but i have bad hearing so most ear buds sound the same to me. If i had a complaint it is when i lay down if i turn my head the activation button gets pushed which is annoying. If they moved the button to the front of back of the unit it would solve that problem. Would i buy them again? Yes, if they solved the button location issue

Dont waist money on cheap earbuds. Get these!

The sound is incrdible. I can wear them all day and they stay comfortable. I use them while working and i would suggest wearing 1. If you wear both you cant hear anything going on around you. I work a 10 hr day and they lasted all day on low volume. I should never have waisted money on inexpensive earbuds. Now you know.

Love these earbuds!

I love these beats earbuds so much! It’s awesome being able to go between noise cancellation and transparency for when i’m on bike rides. Also the battery life is really good i feel like i don’t have to charge them too often. Gave my boyfriend a pair too and he probably uses them more than i use mine, they’re just that good!

Really nice ear buds

The ear buds have excellent sound alot of base . The noise cancelling in my opinion works really well. I can walk down street and barely hear cars driving past.
Battery life, i can listen to these for 8 hours at work. Noise cancelling does make them die faster

4Expert Score
Great for the price

After losing my apple airpods i was very disheartened to have to spend 300 bucks on another pair. That’s when i went out and searched for something comparable and found these. After using them for several month i have overall positive feelings about them however their is many things the future consumers of this product should know.

to start the price point on these is much more affordable than the airpod pros. The wireless works well and i have not had any range issues with them or issues with them randomly cutting off or disconnecting. The noise cancellation is solid but not perfect. It does it job but it does give me a fish bowl feeling when nc is turned on. The battery life is also amazing. I believe they are rated for 8 hours and i can say i can get around 6 hours out of them before the low power beep comes on.

with the benefit of its low price point, some corners were definitely cut. Let’s start with the spacial audio. It’s not vary clear and when turned on it fails to compare to the air pods pro, where you can literally forget you have headphones in. Secondly the microphone on these is very bad. It sounds like you’re talking through a two way radio. And finally my biggest gripe with these is that in certain situations they emit a very loud high pitched squeal. If i am holding one headphone in my hand, and close my hand, the headphone almost sounds like it has feedback and this isn’t a little it’s loud. Loud enough to hear across the room. I can also recreate this when closing the lid to my case. If i close it to slowly the feedback screech happens almost every time. I worry that this is causing damage to my headphones but i don’t know.

Overall i think these are great for the price but have issues and if you have the funds, go buy a pair of galaxy buds or air pod pros.

4Expert Score
Great sound quality, some dated design issues

The sound quality of these ear buds is excellent, as with other beats products the bass response is superb, which is lacking in the airpods, imo. Understandably, it’s difficult to pack a lot of bass amplification into a tiny set of wireless ear buds, but beats managed to do so. They also work with my iphone 12 pro max as seamlessly as the airpods.

The fit is nice and they stay in my ears better than airpods; however, i do not like the physical buttons being directly on the outside of the buds, opposite your ear canals. I often have to adjust my ear buds and push them back in my eyes to optimize sound because they tend to move around, and this pauses the sound every time – super annoying and dated design flaw. Also, the noise cancellation is pretty lame – not nearly as good as the airpod pros. I can hardly tell the difference with it on/off. Lastly, i’m not a fan of the lack of magnetic charging – it is usb-c only. As much as i would love for everything to switch to usb-c, apple seemingly refuses to let go of their lightning port, so i still have mostly lightning cables and thus it would be nice to have magnetic charging instead of just usb-c.

All in all, this a great product at a good price, but if noise cancellation is important to you, you might want to spend the extra $ on the airpod pros.

Comfortable with quality sound

I bought these after initially buying and returning the ‘beats pro fit’ which advertised basically everything these do with the addition of the silicon piece to better secure the earbuds in your ear.

I returned those because that piece made them uncomfortable to wear for more than half an hour or so but their sound quality and especially their noise cancellation were phenomenal—they sounded a bit better than these do. Not by an extremely large margin but especially in regards to the active noise cancellation, the pro fit did it better and i’m not sure why since they’re nearly the same product but perhaps they have more differences internally than i realized.

I’m tempted to return these and re-order the pro fit and just trying to find a way to make them tolerable to wear because i miss the level of noise cancellation they achieved.

Alas, these are still great earbuds and i’ll need more time with them to make the decision of whether or not to keep them. From only a day’s use i can say that they’re far more comfortable to wear for extended periods and the charging case they come with is of better quality than that of the pro fit’s (which isn’t saying too much to be fair).

I’ll update this after i’ve had a chance to use them at the gym a few times.

4Expert Score
Pretty good. Not great, but not bad.

Whenever i see something with a 4-star review, it usually means it’s a solid product but there’s something (or somethings) keeping it out of 5-star range.

For me, these are a perfect example of that. They’re small (good), not terribly obtrusive (only some out-of-ear-stick-out, tho your experience may vary), the sound has some solid bass which is helpful for the gym (where i tested these out), the sound overall is clear (download some equalizer apps to play with the sound itself), and they stayed in my ear well. I don’t know much about soundstage or whatever, but the sound itself is clear, bass is nice and strong, and you can hear even the subtle nuances like the shifting of a hand on guitar strings clearly enough without being disturbed. That, to me, is the sign of a good earbud.

The transparency mode and noise canceling modes were alright. But that’s just it, they’re alright. Granted, the airpod pros have a higher price tag, so they do the anc and transparency mode much better. So it’s understandable that these would do the same, but on just the slightest bit of a lower level.

I’m also spoiled bc the airpod pros have wireless charging. These do have usb c, but the lack of wireless charging is a small thing, really. There’s something about being able to toss these on a charging pad and leaving them there to charge that’s just so satisfying. Also, was not a fan of how the case just doesn’t have that “premium” feel. The matte finish is nice, tho i would have liked a little more weight in the case lid, but at this point, these are such little (and i mean little) things that really, it’s not a dealbreaker.

My only thing is the amount they stick out. I’m sorry, but they do look a little…funny, the way they sort of stick out just a bit so that the “b” logo is upright. They don’t stick out a lot, but juuuuust enough that when you look in the mirror, you’ll see a vertical line where the physical button (which i have managed to press on accident a couple of times while adjusting the bud) sticks out. Also, i had a little difficulty getting them to stay in, but that’s beyond pretty much anyone’s control.

These get that 4th star because of just how they are a solid enough product worth the purchase. They don’t do any one thing particularly well, but there are just enough teeny things for me that i wouldn’t say these are the best i’ve ever used. (for comparison, the jabra 75t gets the equivalent of a 4.3 rating…the hear-through is amazing and their app really helps boost functionality).

For me, these are solid gym earbuds. They play music loudly, clearly enough, and the bass is strong enough for me that i can drown out whatever annoying other music is playing outside. They fit and stay relatively well. For the price tag, you get some good bang for the buck. You could do worse, but at this range, depending on if you want to pitch in a few more, you could also do better.

4Expert Score
Great sound but don’t stay put

I really like these headphones sound quality wise and the noise canceling, my only problem is after a little while they start to slide out of my ears (even with the smallest tips) and then when you go to push them back in it pauses whatever your listening to (or if you on a call it hangs up) which can be super annoying especially if your doing something that requires your hands. Still good headphone’s especially if you grab them while they’re on sale.

4Expert Score
Great sound, not bad nc, bad fit for me personally.

I got these as a test to see if the expensive side of earbuds work, i’ve tried cheap, to up to $80 ear buds. These are the first i’ve ever spent more then $100 on earbuds.
I have sensory issues and loud noises make my social battery drain quickly, i have a pair of skullcandy hash anc headphones but i wanted something discrete for work (i clean houses) and big headphones seem rude for every day wear.
I’ve seen lots of reviews say these (beats studio pros) are best for noice cancellation and people with sensory.
Problems for me:
1. They fall out, the small ear plugs fit perfect they don’t hurt and they’re snug, but i bend, move around, work a sweat and the fall out. I’ve tried the medium size and they give me a headache an hour in.
2. Battery life, 4 hours in after fully charged and the earbuds are a 3/4 dead, a full day cleaning can take 2-6 hours so these wouldn’t make the full 6 if i used them constantly.
Good things:
1. Great for on the go, the case is smooth and small easy to put in a pocket for traveling.
2. Earbuds stay in even if lid is open and shook, it was one of the first things i tried and i was very surprised by the strong magnetic connection.
3. Beside the short battery life it charges pretty quickly, it’s an awesome quality.
Again this is just me and my sensory problems make me a little picky if you don’t sweat a lot and use them for short periods these would be great but personally not for long periods and working.
If i can’t find someone to take them and like them i will be returning them, it was a great experiment but not personally fit for me 🙂

4Expert Score
Great bang for buck

I bought these a year ago and have used them almost everyday since then. Connection is easy and seamless on iphone and i have even let friends with android products use them and they had no problem setting up the bluetooth. They don’t fit great in my ear but that’s just me so i need to readjust them often. I had relative also try them out and they ended up buying a pair for themselves.

4Expert Score
They’ll do

They could be louder. Also the connection could use some tuning. Meaning i’ll take the ear buds out place them in the case and they’ll still be connected. I’ll have the ear buds in my pocket and be on my handheld and the buds will connect in mid conversation. Also, if you’re on the handheld in decide to switch to the ear buds your call will disconnect. However, i’ll make it work!!

4Expert Score
Minor charging issue

Really weird that it doesn’t charge with any charger including my phone’s charger. It only charges wherever there’s a usb type-c port. With my laptop’s usb port where it only charges. Probably mine has issues?

Overall it’s a great wireless ear buds and sounds amazing.

4Expert Score
Battery life sucks

I bought these for work and honestly would give them 5 stars but they are not small ear friendly, even with the smallest buds and the battery life is trash. I wear one then the other just so i can wear them all day. Heaven forbid im on the phone more than a few times, they’ll be dead by noon. At least the case holds a charge i guess. Still 1000xs better than apple airpods.
