Since receiving on 9/15/22, i’ve used this fabric shaver on 3 items with no complaints. It works as expected (perhaps better than expected) & the sweaters & fleece pullover look so much better.

Some folks mentioned that batteries don’t last long. It may be the particular batteries you choose to use because, like i said, 3 items from top to bottom, back to front, & sleeves & the motor is as powerful as first use.

The unit is comfortable in my hand, even with arthritis. It moves across fabric effortlessly without much muscle power needed. I start with a light touch & press down a bit harder as i see how the fabric stands up to it & how much pressure is needed to work effectively on different fabrics, diff weaves, & the size & number of pilling ‘bobbles.’

the shavings container is a bit hard for me to remove, but it could be the arthritis in my thumbs. It is, however, easy to empty & put on again. Easy to remove the blade carousel to clean main compartment. Just be careful to avoid touching blades. I haven’t needed to use the adjustable height spacer, so i can’t speak on it right now.

I would recommend this fabric shaver without reservation. Overall, i’m very happy with this unit & my purchase, esp at the $9.99 price.

Since receiving my order about 48 hours ago, i have de-pilled two cashmere sweaters, seven pairs of merino socks, four satin pillowcases, and a partridge in a pear tree. This thing is addictive and i’m surrounding myself with fresh-looking clothing just for the fun of it. Just be gentle and don’t press down or drag, or else you’ll end up ripping a hole in your garment like i did on my throwaway test t-shirt.

I can’t believe i put myself through the torture of sweater combs and the gleener when this thing has always been around. It’s very easy to use and takes a lot less time than manual de-pilling methods.

This is a before and after of my comforter. I washed my comforter before taking the before pic and all of the lint was still on it. My sister bought me a brown blanket and it gets everywhere. I have been so upset because my comforter is from ugg, and i was going to have to buy a new one because i couldn’t get the lint off and this product saved me from having to spend all that money on a new comforter. If you’re thinking about buying this… Please do! It looks brand new and it’s fast and easy. I love this! Thank you to whoever made this

Our local soccer field is field is artificial turff and in filled with small bits of crumbled rubber. Recently they added tons of small rubber crumbles, but did not raked in.
I was sure i was going to have to throw away these socks as the rubber sticks and pills.
It was a perfect opportunity to try my new beautural fabric saver. It worked like a charm. Just a couple minutes and they look like new. I am very satisfied. I also used it on some sweatshirts, t-shirts and my comforter. I highly suggest having one on hand.

I have had this sweater for years and have been unable to effectively get out the lint balls. I’ve used lint rollers , duck tape , and razors and nothing had worked. Using this product it only took about two minutes to completely remove the lint from my sweater sleeve. Such a great buy, i love it so much. Only downside is that because it is small and portable the compartment that collects the lint fills up quite quickly and is ineffective while full. This results in having to empty it often to get a really good use.

No more fuzzy sock, sweaters, pillows. This works on everything in my house. Glad i got the plug in model for longer jobs. If you plan to de-pill your house you will prefer this! I’ve used it on delicate sweaters and hefty couches. Gets every last pill. Hasn’t damaged anything. Easy to empty the pill chamber and easy to access the blades for cleaning too.

I’ve been dealing with a lot of fabric pilling lately — my lanyard that i wear at work for my badge always rubs on the front of my shirt/dress and i’ve ended up with pilling all over my work clothes. An otherwise professional outfit looks a lot less so with fuzzy little lint balls all over the front. I also have a cheap duvet cover i bought a few years ago that pills a lot as well, and again, it just makes me bed look so messy even when it’s made. I’ve tried regular razors but they don’t work as well and i’m always worried about pushing too hard and tearing or snagging the fabric; i’ve looked at these before online but always debated whether it was worth paying for yet another gadget, especially if it wouldn’t work. I finally took the plunge and boy am i glad i did!

I’ve cleaned the front of most of my shirts and have also done the majority of my duvet. This is so quick and easy to use, and the guard prevents you from going too deep or hard and snagging the fabric. It’s also really satisfying seeing the fabric go from lumpy and bumpy to smooth and clean looking. I like that there are two speeds and varying thicknesses so that you can do everything from a lightweight, thin cotton shirt to a thick winter sweater. All of the lint also goes into a reservoir in the front so it doesn’t make a mess, and it sort of lumps together like dryer lint so it’s easy to empty too. Overall, i’m very glad i purchased this and i’m super impressed with what it’s done! I’ve attached photos of a before and after section of my duvet so you can see how well it actually picks up the lint; this was just after a very quick sweep of the shaver!

I had two patagonia better sweater items–a coat and a jacket. They were so expensive and yet, because of serious pilling, i’d feel and look shabby every time i wore them. I’d tried a battery-operated shaver, but it didn’t do the trick. Patagonia said this was normal wear for any sweater, so no help there. What a drag… Then enter this product.

This shaver is *wonderful*–see photos. For one thing, no need to use toxic batteries–just plug it in. I ignored the special features and just ‘ironed’ the items, and wow, how satisfying it was! For this price (currently $21), i resuscitated hundreds of dollars’ worth of clothing. Were the shaver to die now, i’d have gotten my money’s worth, but it hasn’t, and i’m sure it has plenty of life left in it.

It’s a great buy. Skip the battery-operated shavers and go straight to this.

This piece definitely does what it’s supposed to! I was so impressed with its function (wish i taken before/after) to remove pills from my pillow. Have a gorgeous fall pillow that was i thinking had seen it’s day … Tried this on it. Voilà, in 5 mins, it looks close to new! It came with 2 extra sets of blades, a bag to carry/store the it and it’s pieces! Do it 🙂

This is the best affordable electric lint shaver i’ve ever had!! It the first time i’ve ever used one too instead of an a regular lint brush! I couldn’t wait to write a review! I just got overnight delivery used it right away! I attached a picture of my most ugliest pair of shorts that had a lot of lint on it to show you where i have used to the shaver and the bottom half which still shows a significant amount of lint! The stuff works buy it!!!!!!

Also it box does come with a spacer i guess for larger lint which i haven’t needed yet and are spare pair of blades and a little brush for cleaning! I did have to put two aa batteries in it. So make sure you have some aa batteries handy!!!

I needed to get rid of my couch. I was moving. The thing was in good condition and with the furniture shortage going on at the time i figured someone will certainly take it off my hands. The only thing that was wrong with it were these filthy fuzz balls all over the seats and the back. Otherwise, primo.

So i ordered this here fuzz shaver to see if it could make my problem go away.

Two days later i’m in my living room patiently shaving the couch while watching game of thrones. It took some time, i’ll admit, because the shaver is small and the couch was big and i was also trying to pay attention to the show because you don’t want to miss anything being that got is so unpredictable. You look away from the screen for two seconds and suddenly the main character is dead.

Anyway, i shaved the thing top to bottom and left to right and once i finished i couldn’t believe what i saw. A brand-new couch. I called my cat to the living room and asked him to try and stay off the couch because i plan on selling it and now that it’s nice and shaved i don’t want to deal with cleaning cat hair off it.

Another two days go by and i got some guy coming to scoop up the couch. I grabbed one of those sticky roller things and, just as the doorbell rang, managed to finish rolling all the cat hair off. “top of the morning to ya,” the guy says to me in a british accent.

“good morning,” i respond. “you have someone with you to help carry the couch?” i asked, signaling that it won’t be me.

“my mate is in the car,” he says. “i’ll cast an eye at the couch and fetch him over if we strike a deal, if you don’t mind.”

fishy, but ok. I stepped aside, “come right in.”

he starts inspecting the couch like it was some exotic animal, just short of sniffing the seats. Then starts negotiating, trying to sound all smart with his british accent, using words like “depreciation” and “time decay” but i’m not fooled. “look chief,” i say, “the price is what the price is. I got fourteen other inquiries about this here couch,” i gave it a tap, “all willing to pay premium. Take it or leave it, guy.”

here’s the thing, i spent six months in london during college and that cured me from thinking that people who talk with a british accent are smarter than me. There was this pretty girl in my shakespeare course with the most profound brit accent you could imagine – long story short – her and i decided to see the merchant of venice together at the shakespeare globe as part of a class assignment. We met up at the mile end subway station on what might have been a thursday afternoon and took the central line down to st. Paul’s, then walked across the millennium bridge.

“is that a river or a lake?” the girl asks me, pointing to the body of water beneath us.

I stopped. Could she possibly be that stupid? I wished she had asked me what the name of the river was. I could easily justify that. She was from northern england, it was only her second week in london, never been before, wasn’t much into geography. But this… This was hard to get around. “well, do you know the fundamental difference between a river and a lake?” i asked.

She squinted her eyes and stared at me, a finger pressed to her lips.

I offered a hint. “one is still, the other moves.”

“yes!” she exclaimed. “i always forget which is which…”

“this one moves. It flows. See?” i pointed down.

“um-hm, yea. So, it’s a… L…”

“r…”

“river!”

“exactly,” i said. “river.” i guess not everybody has to be a limnologist. But let me tell you something. Had she insisted for long enough in that british accent that the river thames was in fact a lake, there was a time in my life that i would have believed her.

In any case, you get my point – not fallin’ for it. Not today.

“take it or leave it, guy,” i say to the englishman.

“let me fetch my mate,” he says, and in just a few quick minutes i was short a couch and long five hundred bucks. Yea, you heard that right. $500.

All that to say this. This fuzz buzzer works. If you’ve got fuzz to buzz this thing will cut the ice. It’ll cut it good. Look no more.

I bought this on a recommendation of a friend. I have had these before and they didn’t work or seemed like they may be damaging the fabric. I have a couple of expensive ‘no pill’ patagonia fleeces (heavy and light) that have seen lots lot duty. Both badly pilled. Still fine for that ‘no one will see me closeup’ activities. But certainly not good looking. Now i won’t tell you it made them look like new, but i so wish i took before & after pics. They are perfectly usable now without embarrassment. My experience is once fleece starts to pill, its downhill from there. I love the utility and toughness of patagonia stuff, so if an under $10 item extends their appearance life i feel its worth it. Took a long time on my favorite one that was badly pilled both arms front and side. Perhaps i ruined the blades doing those two, but the give you a second set of blades. This product is work having on hand.

The little storage unit keeps falling off while i am using the product. The fuzz get stuck in the razor part & you have to take it apart to get all of the fuzz out . But, the product really defuzzed my fleece wear very well, and other lighter weight clothing that gets easily picked. Overall i like the product. For the price it works very well.

I was so excited to receive this item having seen the video reviews. I put the batteries in, adjusted the height on the lid and went to work on one of my favorite night shirts. It worked great! This little gizmo is awesome!

I did three night shirts, two hoodies, and my favorite throw pillow before it even started to lose any power.

It is easy to use, clean, adjust, change batteries… Everything about it is easy. And since it only cost like 10 bucks, i feel like i got an amazing deal on a too good to be true product. I love it! And it even came with two replacement blades.

My couch might just have significant build up but it did get a ton off. Just more tedious than i wish it was.

Was able to remove a lot of pilling on knit t-shirts. Took a moment to figure out how to put the guard on a the picture wasn’t super clear. I am glad i opted for the plugged in version as it gave consistent power as i did multiple shirts. I’d say it refreshed the shirts even if it didn’t remove 100% of the pilling.

I got this to smooth out my couch. It doesn’t shave off as much fabric as i would like it too. Maybe if the holes were bigger.

Perfect compact size and easy to work with. Works great on my skin! The only why it’s missing a star is because there’s no button or indicator showing battery life. I guess you’re just supposed to use it til it stop working to recharge it up?

It works. Need to be careful with fabric, better to keep it stretched out on hard surface.
Still managed to produce a hole in a thin summer cardigan. Sad..

Overall good product, easy to use and clean. At first it didn’t work, but after giving it a little shake it does work and does its job.
