Beckham Hotel Collection Bed Pillows for Sleeping – Queen Size, Set of 2 – Cooling, Luxury Gel Pillow for Back, Stomach or Side Sleepers

Ok, let’s clear up a few things:
1) i am a real buyer, was not given this pillow, was not paid to review this pillow. There’s no way i’m doing any of that.
2) i want everyone to know exactly what i’m giving an opinion on. This ‘beckham hotel’ pillow is the very same as others called ‘sleep restoration super plush gel-fiber filled pillows’. That’s what the package the two pillows (costing $35 total) came in reads, and there’s a small bar-coded sticker with tiny writing indicating the beckham hotel re-branding.
3) there’s no smell. There’s no mildew. They arrived factory clean and shipped in a nice, zipped plastic container bag.
4) they arrive dead flat. When you remove them, they start to fluff up. I’d say after an hour or so they are ready to use. Fluff them a bit, and you can sleep on them right away. It’s not necessary to put them in a dryer and in fact it could be detrimental. Not sure.
5) i waited a month to write this because i wanted to be sure i liked the pillows. I do!
6) i had some doubts at first because i thought they’d be too soft, but after a couple of nights i would now describe them as soft, yet firm enough to support my head and neck correctly. I start out sleeping on my side and of course, at some point end up on my back, and then often back on my side.
7) they’re heavy enough to no move around, but not heavy like a (solid) memory foam pillow is. They stay put in other words.
8) i purchased the queen sized ones. Now, it was sort of interesting to me that these are 20 inches wide, and yet a queen size pillowcase is also 20 inches wide. Yet, a pillow is quite high and a pillowcase is of course – flat. This means it requires some effort to squeeze the pillow into the pillowcase. But, perhaps this makes the pillow seem a bit firmer than my initial impression of it was in paragraph #6. At any rate, it works and these have worked out well for me.
9) i woke up in a hotel about 4 years ago with neck pain and had it ever since. All sorts of chiropractic efforts, daily neck stretches, painkillers, etc. Just didn’t seem to get rid of it. I ditched my tempur-pedic s-shaped solid memory foam pillow and tried several other pillows i got locally. They all went back. I got these pillows, continued on the daily neck stretches and now i’m feeling fine with no more neck pain. I noticed about a week ago i was waking up with no more neck pain. That’s a relief.

That’s about all i can tell you amazon shoppers. Buying a pillow is a wilderness of choice. I spent a lot of hours on here looking. And of course pillows, and the comfort of them, is very personal and subjective. I can only say, for me, these worked out. If they don’t for you, i assume you can return them, possibly with some shipping cost. I don’t know. I’m not a regular amazon customer and not a prime member.

I ordered one set of these pillows and at first i was skeptical because they came rolled up like a tootsie roll, but after opening the pillow and allowing it to expand for like 72 hours, it became the best pillow i’ve ever slept on. The pillow seems to expand and become heavier as the days go by (it’s been a week) but still soft. The main thing i like about this pillow is that it encases your neck and your head. You kinda melt into them. I liked the pillows so much that i ordered six more. When i opened the box, these were not rolled up like the first shipment but they were folded and seemed to be vacuum sealed. I opened up the package and they’ve expanded some but not as much as the set i received earlier this week. I’m going to give it a couple of more days and if they don’t expand, i will return them but i believe they will as the first set took a couple of days to get to full capacity. My advise for the new purchaser is to give them about 3-days and keep fluffing them up and shaking them back and forth and they will fill out. Once they’re completely expanded, they’ll be the best pillow you’ve ever slept on. I suggest four pillows per bed.

After reading the comments about bed bugs, i washed the pillows on the hot setting and then dried them on high just in case, at first the pillows didn’t seem fluffy or like they had any support but after drying them they changed completely, they’re supportive, soft and comfortable. I’ve been looking for a pillow that would actually let me sleep with only one rather than two pillows when being a side sleeper and this one is it. Another one of my complaints with pillows was that when sleeping on the side my ears always hurt when i woke up. With this pillow i wake up better than i have in months. Only time will tell if it holds up but i will update.

First let me say i have spent 1000s on pillows. I own the my pillow, zoe pillow, coop pillow, 2 diff purple pillows, serta pillow, latex, memory foam, gel fiber, feather pillow and i hate them.all. I can’t find a pillow i like. So i was almost sure i’d hate this one too. I opened the box and it seemed flat and i almost took it to my pillow grave yard. But i decided to put it in the dryer for a few mins to see if that helped. I used it last night and i actually like it. It didn’t go flat. My head didn’t sink to the bed. It was actually nice!! So save your self some money and try this one .

I’ve been having sleeping issues for a while now, and then i also started to wake up with an extremely stiff back. So much so i would have to pull myself up by pulling the side of my bed. My old pillows were flat, and also more expensive than these. I heard good things about these and went ahead and bought two. Ever since i got these i have not have any back pain or comfort issues, i fall asleep way quicker and i stay asleep. These have been such a life changer for my sleeping habits and comfort.

I was so surprised when these popped up (once they finish fluffing out after packaging). The king size are huge! Really nice pillows for the price. I needed something with support. We had our old pillows for too long and forgot what new felt like. These offer support but without being too stiff (i am a side sleeper). I would defiantly buy these again.

I let it fluff up a few days in a spare bedroom before using. Seemed pretty thick but when laying upon it it went down appropriately. I felt the inside and could feel a gel type lining mixed with fluff. Beautiful design and sharp sleep threading. Defiantly higher quality material and stitching. Sift as all feel. Cool to the touch. First night i knew it would be different as i’ve been using a harder memory foam which has not been good for my neck. Then i bought softer plain pillows that turned into pancakes within weeks that also weren’t good for my neck. Lol. Then i bought the my pillow pillow which felt like sleeping on tons of foam pieces but was better then the other two but it was not smooth and soft and comfy at all. Strike 3. At that point i was just sick of the pillow roulette game. Soooo i started researching the web on what pillows were out there and why they were better or worse. Studies showed that a mixed gel type fiber filling pillow was best. Fluff with gel fibers or fluff with foam fibers or any number of those combinations. Density was a big thumbs up. But to many pillows are overfilled so then thumbs down. Down pillows were a suggested good choice also but i didn’t enjoy the occasional prick of a feather piece in my face nor the idea i was sleeping on birds so i stopped getting them. In summer they’d make me sweat. Seems like getting a pillow perfect is a tough business. Everyone’s different so some like them flatter some like them fatter. The choices and options are endless of course. But it seems from data of pulled research from across the us that most or more people preferred after sleep tests a pillow that had fluff and gel type fiber filling. I thought they probably would be a fortune but at this point i’d pay it to rest. So i then went to amazon my go to for everythinggggg- (love amazon) and this pillow had a lot of great user reviews and then a friend told me tons of hotel chains use them, and then my daughter said she’d had them on all her beds. Who knew! But for 40 bucks for two nice pillows i figured what the heck! First nights on a new pillow are always weird. I learned long ago you can’t base any opinion on one night on a mattress or blankets or a pillow. I thought it might not be thick enough at first because i was by then used to a hard memory foam pillow. But it was pretty nice but i needed to wait a few more nights to see. When you pick it up it has a nice middle weight. Not to heavy like my memory foam ones or my down ones. Night two i moved it around a lot and snuggled my face into it and it was soooo nice. After a bit i did doze off and woke up a few times trying to get comfy with a new pillow. Night three i was over tired laid right down and crashed and woke up thinking oh my gosh that’s a nice pillow after all. Night four was perfect. I am supported just enough, but not to much. It’s a solid pillow but not to bulky like memory foam. It does depress to conform but not flatten. It’s cool to the skin and i don’t overheat. It keeps its shape after you sleep on it. It fluffs back up when you make your bed and leave it. I don’t sink in but i don’t feel like i’m laying on a huge rubber mound. It’s pretty much the perfect pillow for me personally and i’m a picky pillow person. Lol. This is just my unbiased review that others may or may not agree with but for me- it’s a 5 star! If your looking for a super supportive firmer pillow this isn’t it. If your looking for a softer no filling type pillow this isn’t it. It’s right in between with enough of perfect combination of everything. I sleep on all positions changing through the night so this one works great for me.

This is the most comfortable pillow i’ve had in years! Tried the bamboo pillow and it was too thick and well it was too hard! Then i tried the ‘my pillow’ which was too soft and thin…no support! Then i tried this one and it is so comfy and it doesn’t go all thin and flat that i get a much better night’s sleep! I’m ordering more now before there’s a pillow shortage….lol

I like them, but thought there should have been more support to them. I slept on my nieces and hers were outstanding! So i ordered them. I ordered firm, but they seem a bit more softer. I have the queen size hers were king if that makes a difference. If i ordered another set and used two of them maybe that will remedy my comfort level.

I sleep soooo much better with these pillows. I have been on the hunt for a pillow that isn’t too soft that my neck limps but isn’t too firm that it feels like my head is sleeping on a brick and doesn’t have much give. This pillow has solved all of my neck pain issues. Definitely recommend and would 100% buy again.

It’s really the only pillow i ever buy now. Has a nice balance of firmness and shape conforming. For what it’s priced it, they last fairly long before wear about 4-6 months. It’s actually worth it, rather than buying a $6-$8 pillow from walmart that only lasts a month or two. I guess really you’re just pre-paying for your comfort but the overall quality is definitely up there in tier! I’ve been using these for about 1 1/2 years now.
I used to have to foam roll my neck a lot in the mornings but this is the only pillow that doesn’t put my neck in that state. The 2 pack practically lasts me a 9-10 months, recommend trying a sale at the very least!

Ive had 4 of these pillows since late 2020 and they got some stains on them so i ordered two new pillows (not these) and gave 2 of these to my sister and i regret it. The new ones that are from a different brand are too fat and not comfortable and hot. Where as these pillows are cool and just the right size and supportive and comforting. The new pillows i just got always end up on the floor and the two i have of these save me from neck pain the new pillows i bought give me. As soon as i can i’m ordering more of these pillows if you ever have bought these and think “let me try a new pillow” don’t. My sister also loves the pillows i gave her and says she’s gotten the best sleep because of them. I will never switch up on this pillow again. I never reviewed these before because i never realized how good my sleep was until i got rid of them. I highly recommend these pillows!! They’re the perfect pillow. My cats love them and are always laying on them too.

I’m docking a star only because i saw other reviews about this but didn’t believe it because i had such a great experience the first time i ordered. I recently ordered these pillows again and they’re significantly less full than the previous ones i ordered. I thought it was just when i opened them and that they would plump up but they haven’t. I keep having to fold it to make it more full. I really liked these pillows because they were the perfect size and fullness and now the second time i ordered they’re less full. I’ve seen a few other reviews saying the same thing how they ordered more and they were different. It makes me a little sad because i know how good these pillows are (because i got good ones last time) but if i would’ve received the ones i got this time the first time i ordered, i wouldn’t have bought anymore/ felt the way i reviewed the first time. Like these pillows i got the second time are flat. Hopefully y’all can resolve this issue in the future. Makes me weary of ordering again not going to lie.

I ordered these pillows mainly for the “gel cooling” feature advertised. My 1st order was missing a pillow. I used the amazon chat feature and was immediately shipped a new order which arrived 2 days later, containing 2 pillows. The pillows come vacuum packed and the instructions were to open it and let the pillows rise over 24 hours before use. We did this and used them the next night. They were extremely comfortable, for comfort purposes i would have left 5 stars. I really like them. For cooling purposes, not so much. Perhaps i need different pillowcases to aid in the cool feature described. I’m currently looking into higher thread count pillowcases to see if this helps. My husband didn’t care for these pillows. He said they were too puffy and he woke with a stiff neck, he will continue to use his “my pillow” i, however, really enjoyed this pillows comfort and will continue to use it with or without the cooling feature advertised. Hope this review helps with your pillow hunt, because as we all know, nothing beats a great nights sleep.

Tomorrow will be exactly 2 years since i first purchased these pillows. At $20 per pillow (when i first bought them) the value was excellent, so much so that i decided to purchase a second pair today! When looking at rich people stores/websites where the bourgeoisie-class privileged waste their money, pillows can go for stupid amounts of money, for only diminishing returns.

These pillows are very comfortable, quite large, and provided enough support for my head. This gives me a pseudo-glimpse into what the rich and famous get to experience daily and give no second thoughts about. I am a side sleeper so i would often put the second pillow between my knees as i slept. I imagine this is why the quality degraded faster than i expected. I was looking to get 3-4 years out of the pillows.
This morning i could not figure out why my neck was sore more and more often. Well, it must be the pillows! Over 2 years, i washed them on hot and dried them on hot. They got very lumpy and flattened slightly. To be fair, i could have treated them better, but nobody got time for dat.

Ultimately, i am happy enough to get 2 years out of them, even after the abuse i put them through. I was even able to impress several, uh, bed partners with the pillows! My only complaint is that they are sooo fluffed up that when i lay on them, they will sometimes engulf my face and my claustrophobia will trigger. This is fixed by just moving my head to the edge of the pillow, ergo no harm, no foul.

I’ve stayed another hotels where the pillows were absolutely being like in heaven. These pillows don’t quite do that but they’re better than most pillows. And i have tried a lot. I did have pillow covers over the pillows and then the pillowcase and i think that that was not giving the pillow what credit is due. It did seem to make a difference without the pillow cover slightly.

Overall the pillows are great. They are plump and look great on my bed. I bought satin pillow cases that zip up from the brand “kitsch” and they look so enticing. I’ve used them for quick naps and when i need my head propped up when i’m reading or using my phone. Since i am a side sleeper, they are a bit too firm for my comfort and made my neck hurt after one full night of use. They look so good thought so i still haven’t decided if i’ll be returning.

These are comfy and they are cooling. If you suffer from night sweats these only work for one of them. If you get night sweats because you run hot then these are good for you. However if your night sweats are caused by fevers then these aren’t for you. They keep you cool but the moisture wicking is pretty much non existent.

I cannot rate these pillows for comfort, support, etc., because i bought them for shams, not sleeping. They did come flat/air sealed packed, which wasn’t stated, so it took a day to fluff them up. The consistency between the two pillows was different. I was hoping they’d be a little sturdier/fuller than they are, but i ended up sewing the sham a little smaller so they would be firm enough to stand up.

I like them and would probably order again based on the fact that it’s hard to find a decent pillow. They are a little bit too fluffy for me, and they do hold their fluffiness. I guess i like a pillow that is fluffy but a bit more giving. They are good quality pillows however.

I got the king size and they fit king size pillowcases w a pillow protector nicely. These are not for back sleepers though. I’ve left them to fluff for over 24hrs now and they’re def not as fluffy as i thought they would be. The reviews are right about that. Great for side sleeping though. Came w no mold or bugs and were crisp and clean out of the vacuum packaging. I’d recommend them so far!
