I go through periods where i want to take a break from constant acrylics and do my own nails for a while. I’ve tried a few of the beetles gel polishes and so far i’ve really like all of them. I loved this color. It is a great shade for fall. It has a burgundy brown coloring. Some lighting make it appear more on the brown side others you can see more burgundy. Applied and cured very well. Consistency is a little on the thicker side but as long as you use thin layers its fine. No issues with rippling during or after curing. Slowly building a collection since the price for the bottle size is amazing.

I just recently got into doing my own nails with full tips and gel glue. I’m an avid lover of any kind of nude color or nude pink, but trying to find one that matches my skin tone or is neutral enough to pull it off is relatively difficult. I’m a very pink person. This one is just beige enough that it’s classy, but just pink enough that it doesn’t look mismatched on my skin. This is two coats, but i almost left it at one because the slight opacity was so pretty and looks like a faint french tip with the natural pink of my nail bed shining through on the top, and then just the tips on the bottom leaving a subtle gradient. I’m really obsessed with this color and i’ll probably buy it again when i get low

I bought this polish along with the base coat, top coat, and mini uv light about a week ago and wasn’t initially impressed.
After reading the application steps a bit more thoroughly (this time buffing my nails/making sure they were oil free prior) i tried the process one more time since the light pink color was too pretty and deserved a second chance. Once finished, i was actually impressed with how nice they looked! And for less than 20 dollars? Fast forward a few hours,
i ended up getting hit by a car crossing the street. After rolling across the hood, slamming into asphalt and gravel, i was genuinely surprised (once stable) to find my nails were exactly as pictured. Not a chip. Not a scratch. Only a small stain where the tar refused to scrub off.
Will i buy this product again? 100%. Just be sure to follow the application instructions and know your nails will be able to stand up to a whole lot and still look good!

Just started doing my own gel nails and this is such a great gel polish! Went a full 7 days without a chip which happened on my right index finger, which is what i use to open cans, etc. So no fault of the product. Would 10/10 recommend this! Also want to add that the brush is a square shape and most of my nail beds are very round around the cuticle, so it does take a little time and patience to make sure that i’m not flooding them. The key is to use 2-3 pretty thin layers to make sure you can control the product!

This color is everything!! To be honest i thought it was gonna be more red than purple ish but this color is so pretty. It’s so stunning and easy to apply. It cures under uv light and has a nice clean look. I literally just painted them last night so i cannot answer the question of longevity, but so far with washing my hands and going about my day normally, they have held up nicely!

Beetles is my favorite gel polish! I used this color all summer and loved it. I painted my toes the first day at the beach and they lasted for weeks! Even with being in the sand and ocean for a week! Highly recommend this brand.

If i could give this nail polish a 10, i would. I started doing my own gel nails when covid hit. I bought five different brands of gel polish to test and each only held up approximately 5 to 6 days at best. With the beetles brand i did heavy gardening, cleaning, washing dishes & even ran my fingers through sand on the beach to find a missing toy. I must admit that i prep very well with some products from gelish, but it made absolutely no difference with the other the brands, so they were the issue. I imagine they would have lasted maybe 2 to 3 days tops. I highly recommend this product! Photo is of nails at the 12th day with absolutely no chips, just growth showing at cuticles. I did add one extra coat of top coat on the 9th day for extra shine.

Been dipping my toes into doing my own nails at home and have loved the beetles brand gels! This is a full size black bottle and it is really so opaque! I did some very beginner nail art (ombré was a bad first attempt ) but it was such a good black! Will definitely buy again!

This is my favorite shade of pink when i use to go to the salon, so happy i found it for this price since i do my own nails now.

The polish is thick an i like that stays on great as long as you cure it long enough. I love this brand of gel polish it’s like going to the salon

This was my first time doing my nails at home so i decided to order black gel because i’m a black nails queen all my life. Anyways i ordered this one to see if it was easy to build and lasted pretty decent. I used it according to the directions and cured for about 2 minutes between layers however i found some nails ended up peeling slightly maybe it was my application where i messed up. I will try again soon hopefully it doesn’t happen again. It’s great for the price but i don’t want to have to redo a few nails due to the formula.

This gel polish worked great for me. I wore it on vacation and spent literally everyday in pool or beach water and the polish lasted all 5 days (i mean, my hands were fully submerged in water for at least 8 hours a day lol). This picture is 9 days after application and it’s still looking like a fresh mani. My only complaints would be that the “lilac” isn’t very purple at all. In most lighting it looks like an off white color. Also- the polish was a little thicker than i’d like (just a tad too thick). Otherwise i’d say this is a 10/10 product. I will be buying more. My process and prep: i used thin coats- 2 coats for color was enough. Used with the beatles top and base coats. Cured for 2 minutes between layers. Lightly buffed my nail surface. Applied acetone to nail surface before applying base.

I love this polish! It really only requires one thick coat or 2 thin coats. Good quality for the price & i recommend beetles for any beginners or people getting into doing nails. It’s also good for doing nail art and designs because it has a thicker consistency so it’s easy to work with. Just make sure you shake the bottle before you use it.

Beetles is definitely my go to brand when i’m purchasing off amazon but this black doesn’t have much color to it-it takes so many coats to not look sheer and outlining or actually doing designs with it doesn’t happen easily. I’d definitely look for another black!

I adore this color! With two coats it looks great and when done with base and top coats it lasts about 6 days. My only issue is that it’s extremely difficult to remove, i tried acetone and lost my patience and ended up filing it off. So if you’re impatient or have brittle nails, be cautious about removing this stuff. I do love the product otherwise though!

I bought this color for a concert and i was pretty disappointed with how dark this ‘electric pink’ color dries after curing. I was definitely going for ‘barbie’ vibes, but this was more magenta after curing!

I’m a beginner when it comes to gel nails, but so far beetles nails are my go-to. This polish lasts a while and 1 coat is very opaque. I have more polished from beetles and i love them all. Very beginner-friendly. I recommend using their top coat because it doesn’t leave behind any sticky residue. I will definitely buy again!!

I really like this product for the longevity. I will say that it says oderless and i think it has a bit of oder, which doesn’t bother me personally, but could bother someone else. Also this product is thick, not too thick to work with but will create bubbles very easily if applied too thick. Use extremely thin coats to avoid bubbles.

You can let this stuff “dry” for days. You have to cure it with a uv or led light.
