My son with down syndrome is a serial unplugger of the fans in his room. I used these and a extension cord keeper to keep himself from unplugging them. Later he started to take the fans apart i utilized them again to keep him from taking it apart. Worked like a charm. Now i hope he never figures out you can cut them apart with scissors.

I bought these to attach lights to the tree over my back deck, but now i have found a million other uses for them. I like that they are cuttable so as to fit each job.

I have a very stubborn escape artist in the house, and it’s a cocker spaniel. We have dog gates separating the living room (where the pups live) from the kitchen and construction we have going on. Due to the width of the room, we had to purchase sections of gate, which stubborn dog can nose-push open and roam the house. Middle of the night we hear him sniffing and pattering around the house. I decided to zip tie the gates together, and boy is he mad. Locks him in, it’s impassable. God send. Sturdy and easy to use, and will also be easy to cut off once gate is no longer needed. And you get a ton for the money!

I apologize for my previous review…i realize that in order for it to lock, u have to have it turned a certain way. Great value…thanks!

They’re good zip-ties. You get 100 pieces of 4 different sizes, so probably enough to use for most projects for a long, long time. They’re good for a number of uses, but just be aware that these are pretty thin and not the ‘heavy-duty’ zip ties that will take a decent load. They’re probably best for bundling wires and such, but nothing that will be sustaining any kind of load or force.

Different sizes makes it easier to fit

There are great zip ties and there are truly sucky zip ties. These fall somewhere between there, but not bad for the $.

The big thing to know about these ties are that they are not heavy duty. They are very thin which is fine for many purposes but they are not suitable for many outdoor uses. These are more appropriate for cable management.

I build race cars so you use a lot of them. When prepping the cars you remove fix or change parts so your alway working with them. The key is to cut them off close.

The price and most of them are great! I use them for wires and to keep tv stands in place. 1st i got them they all worked great, this second time the big 12” ones did not lock for anything. I tried like 10 and then gave up. If ur looking to use the other size get them!! They work out great!!! But the longest ones don’t wanna lock, not sure y.

I’m pleased with the various sizes in this package. Just what i needed to test out their use in various craft projects i enjoy. Hopefully, they will make them easier to accomplish & finish.

Kind of thin – but can be very useful for some purposes.

These feel a little weak for their sizes. Victorinox swiss army scissors cut the smaller sizes like butter, and they seem to have a little stretch, which can’t usually be said for 100% nylon zip ties. There’s also a curious label on each bag that states ‘don’t open until ready for use’. In light of these things, i used a few more than i normally would have, and only one has snapped under use. Great deal overall and perfect if it’s what you need!
