This is a great moisturizer. It does go on a little thick, so it’s best to apply to skin after it’s already been wet (and dried) to give it a smoother application and not feel like you have to use a ton of it. If you use a small amount, it’s fine on the face, too, at least for me. It’s had no ill effects on my face.

This packaging is superior to the pump because, while the pump seems convenient at first, it doesn’t work well for the bottom 1/4th of the container, so you have to open it anyway. With this one, you open it every time and you can put the cap down a lot more easily than a big pump mechanism that has moisturizing cream all over it.

Saw this moisturizing cream on tiktok as an excellent replacement for buying expensive all over body creams and have come to absolutely agree. It has little to no apparent scent, keeps its consistency, even when repeated hand dips in the large tub. Using it all over daily, especially after showers or being in the sun and love the resulting soft moisturized skin. Cerave has a sound reputation for making excellent creams and have become a fan. One of these large tubs will last quite a while, even using every day. Kudos cerave! Recommend to folks with dry skin and need plenty to smear on and not break their bank account.

This is my one skin care secret. If you don’t do anything else, do this. All you really need is a good face wash, and this moisturizer before bed. It works for your full body, but especially your face. It’s light, unscented, greaseless, and moisturizing beyond belief. Gentle but effective. I use a generous amount on my face every night before bed and i wake up with refreshed skin that constantly earns me compliments from women.

I have very dry sensitive skin & this was recommended by my dermatologist. Love the way it goes on & no greasy residue. It seeps into my skin in seconds. Actually after i apply a few dabs on my face to then spread all over product just ‘disappears” into my skin before i get to smear it all over. This may well be because my skin is so dry it just seeps it in. Have been using it for a week now, mainly on face but even when used on body same happens. So far no wrinkles have been diminished but face feels hydrated. Waiting to see if i need less product within time once skin gets enough hydration.

I have been fighting with eczema on by legs for the past two years. Unfortunately i’m not one to pass up a good scratch session to relive the itch. Sadly this has really brought out the scale on my legs which looked like alligator hide. None of the prescription medicine recommended by my dermatologist seemed to work. I found cerave on amazon and reading the reviews i decided to give it a try. In as little as two weeks the redness and rough texture of my calves has improved to the point that no one notices my eczema when i where shorts. I am truly a believer in this product and highly recommend it to other suffers. Absolutely wonder!!!

I live in the high desert of california. 100+ degrees is not uncommon, and i’m a natural redhead. Sensitive skin comes naturally to me. This is the best product i’ve used for dry, like really dry skin. Dry to the point of flaking!! Highly recommend.

I highly recommend cerave moisturizing cream for the face and body. This is an unscented, thicker moisturizer that definitely locks in moisture if you apply it on damp skin.

I found that applying any moisturizer (cream or lotion) to my body before i go to sleep makes me feel really hot and uncomfortable so i avoid doing that. Applying moisturizer to my face and neck is fine and does not cause any discomfort.

Even though this is a thick cream, i don’t feel that this is too heavy on my skin. I think this cream sinks into the skin pretty well. You can feel that it created a layer of moisture, so it’s not completely unnoticeable. If you are hesitant about whether this cream is too thick, try the cerave lotion first. I don’t think this makes skin look glossy or shiny. This formula does not sting my eyes.

I don’t think this is the best make up primer. You can use it as a makeup primer before you apply foundation, but the foundation might not “grip” to your skin as well as compared to if you used a true make up primer like the laura mercier foundation primer which has silicone that makes the skin feel smoother and other ingredients that help the makeup grip to the primer. But you generally rub this cream into your skin to encourage it to sink into your skin compared to primer which you apply on top of your skin as the first layer of makeup application. I have not found a moisturizer that will adequately moisturize my skin, provide spf 50+ protection, not sting my eyes, and help prevent my makeup from slipping off my face and creasing. I do know that the cerave moisturizing cream is a reliable moisturizing cream. I slather it on after i wash my face at night before i go to bed.

I’m on accutane and this was the recommended product for overly dry skin on my face. It doesn’t make my skin feel slimy or oily, it dries quick, no smell to it really, and it really helps the flaking and itchy mess that comes with dry skin.

This is exactly what you want it and need it to be. I’m a 40 year old weight lifter and while it’s don’t nothing to remove my hard earned callouses, it’s certainly made my hands feel smooth and look nice. I dab it under my eyes and put it on my neck at night too.

This is the only lotion i have found that actually keeps my face and rest of body moisturized throughout the day, i just apply it once every morning.

I used to literally be almost in tears at how unpleasant and painfully dry my skin was, this is an absolute essential if you have dry skin or eczema like me.

Recommended by a hospital nurse. Less sticky than eucerine, although that is a fine hand cream, too.
Soaks in quickly, but works better when hands are dry as moisture seems to slow absorbtion.
In my case, i need to use very little per application. If i use too much, my skin gets red and seems to dry out. The same thing happens with eucerine. But using small amounts of either brand, the skin on my fingers has improved. Very pleased, once i figured out that i may get a reaction to larger applications of these products.
Recommended. Use sparingly at first.

This product delivers smooth, hydrated skin. I have used it for years & because it comes in a large vat, you can cover many parts of your body. No offensive perfume, perfect smoothness and you skin is hydrated just perfectly. Try it, it works wonders.

It’s good

Living in texas where it’s not rained in several months you need a little moisturizer on your face that is heavy duty. This stuff is on point! It’s super thick! If i lived somewhere like louisiana, already humid, i may choose something more light weight. This is great for texas!

But it’s the 21st century…ditch the jar!

I loveeee the moisture this product gives me. I use it everyday and will continue to buy this. It’s non scented but i swear has a very faint fish odor. It only has that smell initially and then goes away but it’s funky to me lol

I have dry skin to my face, this product left no greasy sticky residue, no smell, cool and refreshing when applied, make my skin really smooth and not irritating. I used it twice a day

I really like this moisturizer. Not issues with skin irrataion and not much of a scent. Only complaint is it doesn’t fully absorb into the skin so it feels a little heavy sometimes.

Works as it says. A good overall moisturizer. Would buy again
