Chemical Guys AIR_101_16 New Car Smell Premium Air Freshener and Odor Eliminator (16 Oz)

Many of the reviews here say not to overuse or to dilute. I did not dilute. I decided to use it right out of the bottle. The spray nozzle does a stream or spray mist. I used spray mist. Sprayed 2 sprays in the back and 2 sprays in the front. Both toward the carpet on each side of the car. Smells exactly like a new car leather smell to me. So far has lasted for three days.

Performs as advertised! Like all chemical guys products i have used- excellent product. The first bottle i bought lasted a few years so the two-pack i just received should last the rest of the decade. Thanks chemical guys!

I don’t actually know why the product comes as a sprayer. You should dilute this otherwise it smells too strong and too much chemicals.

Once diluted it smells like a new car and is quite nice.

I purchased this product as i have had great success with other chemical guys products and this one does not disappoint. Love the smell, holds on for a good amount of time. Take just a few sprays to make a huge difference.

It would seem they’ve updated the cap, this is a good thing.. Just tossed out my old one that was still half full as the cap was leaking so bad, it poured instead of sprayed.. This one seems to have some improvement, hopefully it won’t leak like the last one

Smells great , two sprays to check it out had my whole house smelling like new car , could even smell it upstairs for a few hrs

A friend recommended this and i am forever obsessed. I am extremely sensitive to scents so i don’t have car fresheners or anything but this one doesn’t give me a headache at all. It’s light and even if your car is dirty and you spray this in the floor mats it smells clean and fresh off the dealership parking lot. I 1000% recommend!

I have tried many, many different brands of air fresheners/odor neutralizers. This is’the best’. It does what it’s supposed to do. Very reasonably priced. Signed up for auto-ship !!!!! A must try. Thank you.

I dont have to use too often. It has longevity. I may spray the car weekly, although that isnt necessary. May be able to go two weeks.

It really smells like a new car. Most products never actually smell like a new car. Easy to spray under seats

I waited to write a review before i ordered this twice because i figured hey prob just a weak a batch or maybe cause i ordered the small tester bottle the first time. I ordered the bigger bottle this time and both times i’ve used it, it smells great just like new leather for about 5 minutes then the smell is gone. They must have changed the product or something because i’ve read reviews about people diluting it and everything else but this is no longer that same product. This stuff is weak. Would not recommend.

Can’t really say this smells exactly like a new car but i do like the scent. I like that it is not perfumy or flowery. I did a few sprays under the front seats, and it left just slight smell in the car which i like. Seems to be lasting ok so far as well.

It’s literally a ‘new car’ smell. Like formaldehyde and leather. Super strong scent. It definitely eliminates odors. Too strong to stand to be in car. My mistake on product. It does what it says just be warned.

Probably the best ‘new car scent’ i’ve smelled. Very clean fresh smelling. Doesn’t take much and scent lasts a few days before needing to respray

I’ve owned many new cars, including several hondas, a toyota, a lexus, subaru’s, a mitsubishi, and a bmw and i can tell you that they all have their own smell (by design). This scent is nothing like any i’ve ever smelled. The closest i can come to describing it is that it smells a bit like rain, which i like. It’s not a ‘cover up’ smell either, it’s pretty weak, which worked great for me because my car didn’t have any bad smells to cover up. A few sprays on a rag lasts a couple of weeks, and lingers lightly beyond that. Great purchase imo.

I’ve purchased this product before.. That’s how i got hooked. After every truck wash i would spritz the center of the rugs and the leather scent would last for up to two weeks or longer, that being said i was never disappointed and chemical guys products. However i’m convinced with this batch of leather sent something may have gone wrong. It smells more like new plastic than leather.
I’m not turned off by the product just the bad batch. There customer service has always been great and i’ll let them know. And yes i gave good review because my experience with them has always been stellar. When it ain’t right… They make it right..

Smells like new car, does the trick. It says not to spray it on anything though and advises to spray under the seats. Would be a five star if it actually had some utility to it. Like, make a cleaner that also smells like new car so i can reduce a step in my detail work.

Does not smell like a new car. Smells strong and covers any smell.
