The gsm on these towels are 380 gsm. These are dual sided plush towels, one side is lower pile (thickness) and the other is more ‘plush’.

Very misleading. Country of origin says usa but each towel had a label attached that said made in china. Will wait to see how they do on my vehicle
Can these be put in the dryer after machine washing?
I use chemical guys microfiber wash and the 4 towels i currently have from cg (3 purple happy endings and 1 super fatty dryer) come out looking brand new over and over again. Stuff work with both front load(he washers) and regular top loads.
Do these towels come with tags you cut off or are they tagless?
Unfortunately the towels i received today have tags… Pita. I cut a few off then went to gently tearing them off. The stitching on the border is pretty strong so they are able to be torn off which leaves less of a sharp remnant than cutting. The tag is a loop and i tore them off one side at a time fwiw. They don’t tear off real easily. Shook off the worst of the lint, put’em back in the bag they came in, good to go. 🙂

Are these ‘true’ split microfiber cloths & when you run the palm of your hand across the towel does it grab onto your skin like a bunch of mini hooks?
Yes. One side has the fluffy ‘ hook’ texture with lots of loops that you can see.the other side is a close knit kind of surface that’s meant more for polish n buff n is much ‘ flat-er’ for drying or application of wax/ sealant(for those who prefer to apply with clothe). If you have been doing alot of research on microfiber clothe, the best most distinct microfiber clothe for picking up dust n general ‘one pass’ wipe down like the ones you describe that semi hooks on to your skin is starfiber* brand clothe(i bought them on a lurk once when i happen upon them on qvc channel..). I was really hook on those as they were of real top quality that performs very very well. But they are really quite expensive. They are worth it… Until i found these !! Cc really makes their product with well throughout process and these are as good as my starfiber but they have 2 different sides for more versatile use. I bought 2 bundles. One 12 pack and another 6 pack 16×24 .. I am very very happy with these as they are also rather thick for absorbency function as well. I dare say they are better than the other top brands just for its versatility. Worth the investment !**also, i should mention i didn’t have the left-behind lint issue some ppl mentioned. When you wash them, or any microfiber cloth that ‘graps hard’, you really need to take extra care to only wash them separate with only microfiber cloth. It matters.**i recently bought the griot garage blue speed shine companion cloth which are also the best premium microfib.cloth for its function – for a quick wipedown for minor dust. These are.. You wouldn’t believe how soft those are. Like baby blanket quality. Obviously not meant for hard dust n dirt grabing but definitely for polishing n ‘pampering’ your car coat of paint lol. Hi, has anyone used these towels with gtechnic products? C1, exo or csl etc
Hi , i have not used these cloths on the single app products. I just find that the open cell microfiber cloths remove spray on ceramic waxes easier then these guys. I do use them with other products and i am satisfied. Hope this helps.
Are these good to clean windows?
In my experience, i would have to say no. I was not pleased with the overall quality of these towels. I had an issue with lint particles. I only use these towels for general cleaning of ‘dirty’ interior or exterior areas. I use a better quality towel for final ‘detailing’ of surfaces. For windows, i use a huck towel – and i get excellent results. Another detailer explained the science between the various towels, and that knowledge helped me with all my detailing.

Are these considered a 4 layer mircofiber cleaning cloth also?
The bag they come in does not say anything about being a 4 layer microfiber cloth. Just a premium microfiber towel with silk edges.
Have others ever thought of throwing in dryer sheets when putting these in the washing machine?
We do not recommend using these with dryer sheets. For best results, we recommend drying them on low heat for a short period of time or letting them air dry.
Will this product work with removing paste wax after it has turned to a hard glaze? If so which side should be used? Or is this best used for spray
These will work great for removing glaze. I would use the short fiber side then hit it again with the plush side.
What is the difference between these and the workhorse towels?
Well i dryer my whole car with one after a rain storm and squeezed it out once , with the other mentioned one i squeezed it out 3 times and it left streaks
If you put these in your washing machine with wax on them, will the wax build up or get on your clothing in future washes?
I am somewhat reluctant to answer this question. First of all i have used my towels to buff wax off numerous times. Also, i wash all of my microfiber towels separately, as it has recommended to me that if you wash them with other fabrics such as cotton you could get those other fibers infiltrating into the microfibers of your microfiber towels. Having said that, i have not noticed any impact on my other clothes nor have i seen a build-up of wax in my washer. It may be dependent on how often you’re using your towels to wax cars. I typically wax all my cars in the spring, maybe once in the summer and then right before winter. If you’re an every 2 week waxer you would have the opportunity to possibly introduce more wax into your washer than i do. For me it has never been a problem, and my wife would have no reluctance in letting me know if it were.

These towels are great for both interior and exterior use. You can use the short pile side for durable surfaces and the high pile for sensitive surfaces.
What is the weight of each towel?
I don’t know the actual weight but they are heavy. The best micro fiber towels i have owned.
When waxing/buffing should you start with the short side or long side?
Short side to take polish off long side for buffing so when you are the short side its what rubs the wax in anb takes the wax off without clogging the rag. Long fills to fast

I have no idea about the 4ply. But these are luxurious. One side is regular microfiber and the other is way thicker

Sure ! If their safe to detail a ferrari , which i used them on for wiping a hydrophobic coating off with , their certainly safe for a computer screen
