Chemical Guys SPI22016 Total Interior Cleaner and Protectant, Safe for Cars, Trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, Motorcycles, RVs & More, 16 fl oz

This is my third car now using this product on and the ease of touching up the interior on a vehicle with so many different materials and screens everywhere (’21 explorer st) it’s incredible.

I don’t have to switch rags or cleaners and can rip through the interior in a few minutes to touch up or after a good wash to really make it pop. Can’t say enough good things from someone who takes a lot of pride in there vehicle being clean all the time!

This was the first time i used total interior cleaner and protectant. I grabed my bottle of cleaner, a couple of microfiber towels, and ventured into the pickup that had a summers worth of dirt, dust, spilled drinks and lots and lots of dog hair and slobber. I got through the job much more quickly than i thought i would have, and the results are really impressive. Dirty door jams? Cleaned it! Dusty dashboard? Cleaned it! Dirty console and cup holders? A couple of squirts in each one and a rolled up microfiber cloth and they look like new! Doors that are covered in nose prints and dog slobber? Cleaned them! Map pockets? Good as new! Navigation touch screen and controls? What fingerprints! Dog drool marks on cloth? This is the one where i thought, no way, i’m going to have to get the upholstery cleaner and a brush to get these out… Wrong! A couple of spritzes, wait a few seconds and wipe off and they were close, a second pass and they were done. This stuff is amazing.

Wanted something to clean the various display screens of our acura, as well as the dash and door surfaces. So far, so good. I don’t think it’s great on leather surfaces, but i use stuff just for that. It’s exceptional on displays, and works very well on hard dash areas like under the windshield and and all around the dash and doors, just not so great on leather. It does seem to require some extra wiping after application so there’s no dark spots, which is easy to take care of with the included cloth. Good value for the price and recommend for most surfaces.

When i bought my car it looked like a crime sceen on the upholstered roof so after seen many insta post about the chemical guys cleaner i decided to see if it really worked, happy surprise it worked beautifully with very little elbow grease. ☆☆☆☆☆☆

Love chemicalguys products for easy use and a good clean that doesn’t leave residue. The smell of this product is great and an extra bonus!

I was very happy with the streak free results on dashboard and door plastics including instrument panel. Quickly and thoroughly removed dirt and grime from door surfaces.

It freshens everything up and cleans it up in a flash.

Cleans grime that’s been caked on. Love it

It won’t completely remove the stains from bug repellent or sunscreen on the vinyl interior of the car right away, the stains will appear again. I have to use it many times to gradually wipe off the stains

Wish it was a better deal in a gallon or 5 gallon container but i’d buy that stuff all day.

I really love it for the interior of my car but it does leave streaks on the glass if you do it for windows

I am pretty good about meticulously detailing our cars once a week and so i buy products by the gallon. Having purchased several chemical guys products in the past, i felt confident with what i was getting when i ordered a gallon of this. Here is an honest review from a regular detailer.

Pros:
it’s a versatile product that can be used on many different types of surfaces.
It doesn’t leave a greasy film or shine.
It’s sold in large quantities so you can reduce waste and refill the sprayer.

Cons:
-as some others have mentioned, it can be used on glass or touch screens, but must be immediately buffed off to not leave a haze.
-it’s the same sprayer that chemical guys uses for all of its products, which means it will be leaky and offer poor performance. This is one area where cg really just needs to get a better sprayer for all its products.
– i am not a fan of the scent at all. For a company that makes so many great scents like leather, new car and signature scent, this one smells like baby wipes. Makes me think of poopy diapers. Parents will appreciate this comment. Thankfully it’s subtle and goes away in a short amount of time.

Overall, i think if they went with a better scent, it would be a good all-around product. It’s important that people use clean rags, and even a separate rag for cleaning and drying to prevent streaks. Eventually, that cleaning rag starts to leave behind its dirt on other surfaces.

It cleans so well i just don’t know if im getting a deep clean but it cleared all the floor prints on my door panels near the floor and left a shine, i don’t think the shine last. I would not use on screens unless you really have the time to keep buffing away the film. The scent is light but nice rather than a basic chemical smell from other products. But it does leave a like dried stain look on my door panel for window control so i have to go after the wet cleanse with a dry microfiber cloth to buff away that residue.

I decided to go with this stuff after using armorall for a while. Wasn’t a fan of the armorall residue it leaves behind. This doesn’t leave a residue and still seems to clean and bring the interior back to its natural look. Nothing more or less. I have no idea how well it holds up to uv rays and not seeing any intense conditioning going on when wiping down surfaces leads me to wonder if it actually does protect. Here’s to hoping and trusting the reviews. It doesn’t smell amazing but it doesn’t smell bad either. I like the fact that you can spray it on and not have to worry about disposable wipes going dry. I guess we’ll see how it goes when the bottle runs out.

Nice product for the interior of your vehicle however do not use it on glass, smears everywhere.

Works ok, not super impressed .

First off, i work in the field in remote areas for multiple days at a time and my vehicle gets dirty inside and out. I do a thorough cleaning (again, inside and out) before every trip, to at least start-out with a clean vehicle. I was running low on my current cleaning products and found this cleaner on the web site and decided to purchase it.

I received it in a couple days and was looking-up instructions from other people online regarding its use and found quite a few negative reviews that gave me pause. Problems with film on metal trim surfaces, glass and clear plastic were reported, which was a bit of concern. The directions provide directions for these types of surfaces and the vast majority of reviews were favorable, so i decided to try the product out

i have leather interior, vinyl, touch display, carbon fiber and metal trim. I applied this project to those surfaces along with dash, console and steering while and am very pleased with the results. The appearance is clean without any streaks or fogging. The leather surfaces are not slick and have a supple feel (sorry can’t think of another term…). I did not try it on my glass surfaces, since they were not in need of cleaning on the interior.

It’s been a couple days and we’ll see how this holds up after another week in the field, but i am very pleased with the results so far. I don’t know the reason for some of the polar-opposite reviews, but i am personally very satisfied with the product so far….
