Have developed tailbone pain in recent years when i sit for longer than an hour. Purchased this for frequent 14+ hour flights to jerusalem, israel. The flights are always packed and so i tend not to get up as often to move around. Experienced no pain on the flights. Continue to use it daily in my office chair. It fits around the tailbone perfectly and i can sit for hours (all day) with no pain. Just adjust your chair height accordingly. In fact, since using this, the pain has disappeared completely as i’m not agitating it. Highly recommend. The gel feature helps you stay cool. Carrying handle nice to slip around your carryon handle. It’s going with me to greece and turkey next week.

I was having severe low back pain again (previous injury), and it was becoming unbearable to sit anywhere, for any period of time. I already had a similar seat cushion, but it was not helping. I thought it might just be too old and flat. I decided to try this one and i am glad i did. It is doing its job well. My low back pain has lessened with use of this cushion. It does stay put under you and does not slide around. My only slight issue is in the car. When i ride as a passenger, and use this cushion under me, i feel a little wobbly with turns. I just do not feel as ‘grounded’ in my seat. When driving, i do not feel it as much because my hands are on the wheel. Overall, i am thrilled to have found something that eased that pain within days.

My tailbone had been giving me grief for a very long time, and so i finally decided to do something about it and bought the comfilife gel enhanced seat cushion. I wasn’t expecting to be this surprised. I even use it for sleeping (not sure if you’re even supposed to). Have to say that i drive with it now as well. My lower back pain is gone, not to mention the reason i bought the cushion in the first place… My tailbone – finally some real relief. The cushion is well made and very sturdy. I will be buying another for my car.

I just bought a new toyota camry to save on gas. The problem is the bucket seats in smaller cars. I do yoga, so i’m very aware when i’m forced into a position where my body is out of alignment. Bucket seats in cars are hard on the back because the hips are lower than the knees in this position, and it puts strain and pressure on the back. I have to drive 35-40 minutes to work & back each day, and my back was literally hurting within five minutes of sitting in these bucket seats. I watched a video of this guy who tested three top cushions, and his son and daughter helped him. He and his son liked this huge, bulky purple cushion best, but his daughter picked this comfilife cushion as her #1 choice, and i decided to go with the female. I figured i would probably feel the same. Needless to say, i drove all the way to work this morning, and my lower back never hurt once with this cushion. It puts your body back into correct alignment when sitting for long periods. I’m extremely happy with it!

This cushion is great for pain and it does it’s job perfectly! No complaints
i also want to say it really saved me when i got in a car accident.. In my accident a car hit me and then sent me flying into a parked water truck on the side of the road .. I should of been stuck under the dash from the severity of the accident(yes i was wearing a seatbelt).. But i did not move at all while sitting on this cushion !! It held up .. The under side of this cushion has beads that grip the seat ..between my seatbelt and this cushion it was like an adult car seat lol i’m so thankful.. I bought this for my car since my job requires me to sit and drive literally all day. I started getting lower back pain just above my butt and after a few weeks of using this in my car, the pain has disappeared and has not come back. I haven’t had any issues with this staying in my car and cooking in the florida heat and it has gotten rains on a little bit but still no issues

Wow! I have been in pain since jan of this year on and off. I found out i have sciatica. I did my research and picked this seat cushion because it is amazon’s best seller and it got great reviews, well guess what… It is the best! I can finally take long car rides again as well as sit in my office chair without aches and pains all day! This cushion has literally saved me life! I love it, i highly recommend it and yes, i am getting another one! Just tested it on a ride from queens, ny to atlantic city, nj this past labor day weekend and i gotta say it made my entire trip! The very best hands down! Keep in mind that from queens to atlantic city nj it’s about a two and a half hour car ride. When it’s a holiday weekend it’s about 3 plus hours one way. So please, get this comfi life seat cushion! It’s totally worth it!

I work from home so i sit at my desk all day at home. I took up some extra ot hours and was worried about my back pain. I got this based on reviews and was not disappointed. I worked from 8:30am to 8pm today and my back and butt does not hurt. Works very well for me..definitely a gem.

This pad is so good. Ive ordered a second one so i can keep this one at work and the second one at home. My tail bone pain is way way better. This is firm but soft support. Meaning it doesn’t squish down. It stays supportive. I sit on it with the open area under my tail bone so it hovers, no pressure or touching it at all. Helps so much.

This is a game changer! The chairs in my office are absolute garbage, and while i’ve always been prone to some back issues (like after a day of moving furniture, etc.), my ‘everyday’ pain was increasing and becoming unbearable since a change in office furniture to these crappy chairs. The difference was immediate, and i wish i had ordered this sooner! I also got the back cushion and foot support from the same company, and they’re also great – but they don’t make as much difference as this cushion!!!

Update: just spent 3 days driving across country. Normally after a 2 hr ride, i can barely move. On the 3 day drive, my back did not ache and there was no numbness in my legs. I haven’t had that since before
my back was broken.

Previously i had a gel insert for a seat cover but after 30 mins you are back to pain and numbness. This has memory foam and gel so it keeps you off hard seat. The past week it has worked well but i am constantly readjusting. I am not sure what side you are supposed to sit. Is the hole in front or back? I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will conrtinue to work this well for me.

Update: the pillow is best for me when my tailbone is over the hole. Unfortunately when i use the pad while driving, i do have some pain and numbness due to my leg being stretched out.

Okay, the cover being soft i didn’t expect but i was more concerned with sturdy and support. I busted a disk in my back and was told last time something like this would help some with the pain. My hip pain is less when using this cushion, i am comfortable once i get situated. You do have an couple inches added to the height of the chair but a good cushion is noticable. If you leave it out in the cold car it’s going to be firmer till it warms up, most foam cushions are that way. Way better than a donut.

Bought this for my mom who fractured her tail bone. Has worked like a charm. However, i don’t see it lasting very long. The front of it is already sagging. It doesn’t spring back into shape. Otherwise it has definately helped her.

This product is used in my car. I would’ve given it five stars but it’s still early and in the breaking in period. But i think after a few weeks it will be a five star.

The cushion is very firm, more so that i’d have thought. I purchased it for my 95 year old dad. He has a boney rear. To him it may be too firm.

Use it on my office chair. Helps with the circulation in my legs when sitting for several hours at a time.

I bought this a year ago for arthritis in my tailbone. I put it in my desk chair and it really did the trick. I used to get pain after sitting for twenty minutes, but with this pillow i was able to drive 14 hours over two days with only a little stiffness. Now it sits in my desk chair and if i spend thirty minutes in another chair, i can feel it.
After one year, it is getting flatter. Still no pain or stiffness from sitting for a while. I may have to invest in another one in the next year or so. I’m ok with that as i’m pretty heavy and have a desk job. And yes, those two things are probably related.

It’s nice that this is portable enough to take anywhere. Bulky, but portable!

It seems to do when it’s supposed to be strong and sturdy just doesn’t quite help with my back.
