Can the 3m picture strips be used on concrete walls? All the buildings where i live are concrete.

I have a couple used in the basement concert wall and they have been in us for over a year with no issue. The item hung is a display box weighing approx. 6 pounds. Hope this helps !

Do these work well with command hooks? I am trying to hang my living room curtains?

I used them to hang pictures in my house without any issues. They don’t hold very heavy things very well. Hope this helps!

Are these strips visible when viewing artwork at an angle? The 3m packaging makes it look like the strips are glaringly obvious.

Will command strips hold on textured tile? (80’s era bumpy tile)

I have a vey light weight polyester wall hanging, would these work ?

Yes! I use these for everything i hang on the walls of my rv: large plasticized map, pictures, lightweight metal hangings. I also hung a couple of poster size hangings at my son’s apartment, and when he recently moved the wall hangings were taken down with no paint damage. Just be sure that you use enough strips to support your hanging without sagging. Ideally your hanging is stiff enough.

I would like to use this on my rv walls but don’t want to pull off the coating of the wall when i need to remove the strip. Do they come off easily?ly

They come off without damage to the walls or paint

What wall surface preparation is required prior to sticking?

For tile, just clean it with some alcohol. On painted drywall, we’ve never done any prep. We just stick them up there! Hope this helps

Will this work for hanging an iron magazine/towel rack in an rv?

As long as you use the correct ones. They go by weight and if you use too few, stuff falls off the walls. And you should make sure the adhesive will stick to the type of walls you have.

I want to mount a tablet to a wall. Does the strips have any play or sponginess when they are connected to each other?

The velcro-y part can be reused if you replace the adhesive part with a regular command strip of the appropriate size

Can it be used to mount a metal poster on the ceiling? The poster is like sheet metal so its thin and light

I would think so, but if it were me i would use one in each corner, and even one in the middle.

We use these to hang 20×30 backer board photographs. They secure nicely on the backs of the boards and the velcro adheres firmly to the prices attached to wall. The velcro also means they are easily removed or shifted and with the pull strip they come off the wall with no residue. These are great and imo better than traditional picture hangers!

My go-to for hanging pictures

I’ve been using these for a couple of years now and find them to be very versatile and strong to hold up even large pictures. However, do not use them on wallpaper. When i tried to remove the picture from a wallpapered wall it ripped the paper when i was carefully trying to remove the pad. I would definitely use these again on any painted surface though. They are my go-to for hanging all pictures.

Overall i recommend these. I am using it to hold a mirror to a not-perfectly-smooth wood door and it is working! I did have to use a lot more of these than the recommended weights on the packaging but i believe this is because of the texture of the wood – it would probably work better on a smoother glossier surface. I tried using them with a philips hue led light strip that i use as under cabinet lighting. I used about 40 lbs worth of command strips on the 2 pound item and it still did not adhere well to the light strip that is designed to be used with adhesives like these and similars. I had to use super glue to hold the command strip to the light strip.

Works great, visible from some angles

I got these for an easy way to put up pictures in my apartment without overdoing it with holes in the walls. They work great, but i would limit their use for frames you will be seeing straight-on, and not to the side like a hallway picture frame. The reason being that the white edge can be visible – especially with a darker frame. However, in the other use cases they work great and i would recommend.

I decorated my office (with painted walls) using several things i hung with these. They hold a lot and they do not damage the wall or the frames i apply them to. I found a lot of uses for them. Worth buying just to have around.

Doesn't remove from concrete/brick easily.

I’ve been using these for years, for all sorts of projects. They’re great, because you do not have to put any holes in your walls. I will note, that if you put on brick, they did leave a sticky residue behind that wasn’t the easiest to remove. They’re made for a 1x use – meaning, once you put it up, you can’t remove them and reuse them. So, make sure you’re using it exactly where you want. They’re definitely overpriced for what they are! They kind of have the whole market, so there is nothing pushing them to reduce the pricing. Other than that, they do hold up pretty well.
