This was very easy to install and has a nice modern, simple look. The led light is good a bright, lighting up my entire cooking surface well. I’m satisfied with the fan sound level, which obviously does increase as the fan speed increases. I installed this to be run ductless and did buy the recommended filter. The filter is surprisingly more difficult to install than i thought it would be, but will watch the video again to see what i’ve missed. All in all, great range hood for the money and am very pleased!

We needed a thin, modern-looking hood above our stove that was able to be ductless and screw into the wall–not a cabinet. This felt like a tall order, but this cosmos did the job and has been working well. I did have to purchase a carbon filter separately to make it work as a ductless system out of the box rather than wait for the company to send me one.

One thing to note, while this is relatively light, if you plan to screw into the wall–do not use the provided drywall anchors and use better ones that are more secure. We ended up screwing three anchors (rather than the recommeded two) and had to use more sturdy ones after trying the cheap versions that come with the hood. Otherwise, a welcome and needed addition to our kitchen!

Installed this 36′ range hood under an overhead cabinet above a gas cook top. The height of the existing unit was 6′, this one is 5′. It allows a noticeable 1′ gap at the back of the unit, against the wall. Our tile backsplash was flush with the other unit. An easy fix and actually looks quite nice was installing a 36’x1′ anodized aluminum strip. Held in place with stainless screws, really easy and finished nicely. The strip is made for floor threshold and is readily available, in lots of colors and metals, even wood grains, under $15 at your local home improvement store. The led lighting is great, bright, but only on -off without a dimmer setting.
The greatest part of this unit is the construction of the filter screens. There are three and they snap and lock in place with one carbon filter behind them (optional for ductless conversion).

This hood is a dream. The lights are perfect in the back. The three filter design makes it look so much better and there will not be grease on sides. Even at 38 inches high is still sucks all the smoke right out

I have just finished installing this hood in my diy full kitchen remodel and couldnt be more pleased on my purchase. The product is light in weight but made with quality and came very well packed. The fan is quiet, has enough power using ductless option and bright efficient led lights. I total upgrade from my old ge hood.

This is a well-priced, easy to install range hood. It’s fairly noisy on the highest setting, but honestly i would expect that for the level of suction it offers. It’s pretty slim in design and quite lightweight. The filters are quite easy to remove. Overall i’m happy with my purchase!

Great bang for the buck! Nice and quiet, looks great, best part is it installs right to the wall so it doesn’t have to be mounted under a cabinet. If i wasn’t still doing some work in the kitchen i would post a picture to show how perfectly it fits with my setup.

This is a great product at this price point, works and looks good. Only down side is having to buy the carbon filter separately.

Installed as part of a kitchen restoration after some water damage. During the process, i took the opportunity to upgrade the 25-year-old wall oven… And mama really wanted a bigger oven. I had to find between 1/2 and 3/4 of an inch to trim off other cabinets to give the wall oven clearance. I searched high and low for a 36′ range hood that wasn’t 36′ across and the cosmo fit the bill! Listed as 35.25′, mine was 35.375′. With the cabinets trimmed to fit, the installation was a breeze.

Our unit is installed as a recirculating unit with the carbon filter installed. I purchased a filter set at amazon but the unit included information on a free filter kit from the company. This unit did not require any holes in the above cabinet to vent, venting occurs through the slots in the top of the unit. (yes, some of them vent into the cabinet :o)

It is a great hood. Does what the description says. It sadly came dented on the top. I think it might have been due to the fastening of the motor. We loosend the screw + tried to push the metal back into place. It gets only 4 out of 5 stars, because i can‘t tell for sure if it is a manufacturers mistake or ups‘ handelns error.
Installation was a hazel. But it looks great now! Wear gloves to protect your hand from unwanted scuffs/cuts.

This model is cheaper than some mainstream ones, but that doesn’t seem to mean that they cut corners. Good build quality, easy to install, stylish…maybe a bit on the noisy side at high speed. But a solid buy over all.

This under-cabinet range hood is a great option to buy if you’re looking for an affordable and easy to install product. The noise level of the fan is relatively low, and almost quiet when it comes to the lowest setting. The hood has great suction, however better installation instruction options could be provided with the box.

It look very nice and bright when 2 lights are at the front, sucking ok, only thing is now i cannot hardwire the line since it is with plug, i need to figure out how to make the line hidden.

Range hood was easy to install, this came ready to plug into an outlet, not meant to hardwire. Looks good, 3 speed fan is good to have.

This range hood is an attractive option and a good value. I wish they included the charcoal filter in the box since this is such a common need. Easy install with included template and instructions. Led light at this price is also a better option to alternatives.

Looks great, sleek design. My only complaint would be the color of the lights, more blue, and i would prefer yellow.

We recently purchase an older home that was built in 84 and had never seen an upgrade. We remodeled and decided to purchase this range from amazon because the reviews and great price. It was easy to install, looks great and works well too. We are happy with this purchase and would buy again.

Super fast delivery. Installation is straight forward with a template for either wall mount or under the cabinet. So far so good.
