Depends on the baby. My son is only 4 months old and he is wearing size 3. But that’s because he’s a big boy for 4 months. If they are chunky and weigh 17 pounds get a size 3. You will find your self with a tight diaper if you go with size 2 and more of a possibility for a rash.

No size 6 or toddler pull ups are best for 3-5 year olds! Size 1 is 3 month

My son was 7 pounds 2 ounces and 19 inches long when born and size 1 was too big….i only had 1 pack of newborn when he was born since everyone told me only to buy size 1 diapers for a newborn but they were wayyy to big…..so it just depends on the size of the baby

You may just be better off getting them a gift card to amazon. That way, they can purchase what they need at their leisure. Also, a year’s worth of one size diaper isn’t going to do them much good because of how quickly a baby grows.

Pampers manufacturer says the fragrance is used at a very low level in each diaper. Fragrance uses numerous synthetic chemicals and some of them are petroleum based. In addition, manufacturers don’t have to disclose fragrance ingredients since they are considered to be a ‘trade secret’. One of the fragrance ingredients is phthalate. Phthalate is endocrine disruptors and possible human carcinogens. Diapers with fragrance emits phthalate into the air and baby can breathe in the toxic fumes. Phthalate can also get absorbed through skin contact.

*if you want to go for diapers that do not use fragrance and phthalates, consider the following diapers.
