This has literally changed our life.

The short: the battery life is great, the collar length is great (easy to trim off & burn the ends if it’s too long), i’ve never had to worry about being too far away, the beep is loud and distinctive enough that you can find the dog if it gets lost, and it’s an excellent tool to snap them out of a bad focus. It’s the only ecollar i’ve ever used and if it breaks/stops working i will definitely get another.

The long: i always hated when people had their dogs on shock collars. I always assumed it was a way to beat the dog in line. Then comes along the love of my life, the most horrible little shiba inu ever. She knows exactly what i want, but if the leash is on, she will pull. I ask her to sit, she won’t sit. When she meets dogs and wants to play with them in the neighborhood, i have to worry about her clothes lining someone whipping around them. And if there’s a cat? Hoo boy. Hanging herself is a perfectly reasonable price to pay for her. She must get the cat.

Before i ever put the collar on her i tested it myself. And i don’t mean with the little connected circuit tool. I stuck it up to my arm and tested up to 20, and decided to start her at 10.
When i first let her out with just the shock collar, she was off like a bullet. I called her name and told her to ‘come!’ as expected, ignored. I gave her a beep and called her again. Again i was ignored. Finally i gave her one shock. She was, indeed, shook. She was so startled she ran all the way back to the back gate. Since that time, i haven’t had to shock her at all. The most i’ve had to do is the vibrate. We get to go on calmer, longer walks because i don’t have to worry about strangling her. I really don’t have to worry about her getting too far ahead because after a verbal reminder she’ll keep a good distance from me. She’ll whine if she’s near a dog or cat she wants to play with, but she will actually listen and leave them alone. I imagine if i hadn’t done like a year of training before getting this collar the results would be different, but this has been incredible.

I mostly used to warn/vibrate/chirp

When a pet can get a bit unruly, this is just the thing/product that is needed and it works well for what it is. I would highly recommend short times of usage as the manual mentions, and after using it i can see why, with how poky the two leads that contact the neck for actual shock needs. Which, i tried on myself (maybe not recommended) but for me necessary to make sure the lowest setting was okay, and it packs quite a punch alone, so i wont ever need to raise. I however don’t need to use it for shock, with the discomfort of this collar alone, for my pet it is much stiffer/jabby too than any daily use collar. So, when collar is on it teaches ‘okay, im going to places i shouldn’t’, with an added buzz/vibrate that can be very momentary using the remote. For me, a very effective use as an alternative to using the shock feature, then i can swap collars to the daily driver. The chirp is a tad time-delayed when the remote button is pressed, so can be slightly difficult to use as it could be too late. It is audible but not a very loud chirp so good it wont hurt a pets ears. Charge retains very well for both remote and collar (rechargeable). The magnetic disconnect portion of the charger is unusual but convenient as both remote and collar charge at the same time with a solid remote usb connection, then a magnetic disconnect for the collar. All in all works for my needs as a shock alternative and while i find this still pricey (everything is), it is still much cheaper than many or most products that i found with fewer features on market, so a great value. The durability seems fantastic to me, but like most products probably can’t handle being gnawed on by bigger pets. The collar is highly adjustable and this may not be recommended, but for me a need, as i bought too large of a size and waited too long to return, but i was still able to unscrew the button on the collar and cut/melt ends and seal the nylon ends to make a custom sized, smaller collar, cleanly.

Works like a charm!

I must preface this review by saying the dog i am using it on came to me trained to stay inside an electronic fence. She knows a beep means if she keeps going she’ll get a shock from her electronic fence collar. So, i bought this training collar so i could take this dog for walks around our property without a leash. I have 3 other dogs who walk with me and stay on our property (9 acres.) however this dog that i adopted 2 months ago is a hunting dog who was turned into the shelter as a stray. From the day i adopted her i started walking her around the perimeter of our property on a leash. She quickly got the idea of where she was to go and not go. Within a few weeks she was going on the walks off leash as well. There is a county park in front of our property, too. A week ago, this dog decided she wanted to venture up there. There was a nice lady in the park with her dog. My dog played with the dog and was petted by the lady, who told me what a sweet dog i had when she called me to tell me she had my ‘lost’ dog. From that moment every time we tried to go on a walk this dog made a bee line for the park. I put this collar on after charging it up. We went for a walk. My dog started heading for the park. I called her twice. She ignored me as usual. I hit the beep function. She ran back to me as fast as she could. I had brought some small treats with me, so i gave her a little treat. Next day, we again go on our walk. Dog looks down the driveway to go to the park. I call her and she came right to me. No beeps required. I’ve only been using this product a few days, but as long as the product itself doesn’t break/stop working, i consider this to be the best $33 i’ve spent in a long time. I no longer have to drag this dog around the field on a leash. She can run, stop, sniff at will as long as she stays on our property. I have not tried the vibrate or shock functions and doubt i ever will.

Easy to use; gets results

Mr. Percival pinkerton had this habit of having a tantrum every time i went upstairs. Whether it was to grab a pair of socks or brush my teeth, it was if his world was ending and he wanted the world to hear it. The barking, crying, and shrieking was unbearable. I really didn’t want to go this route, but as a last resort (until he learned to climb the stairs and follow me if he wanted), was an e-collar. I’m quite pleased with how this works. It’s easy to select vibrate, beep, or shock, and i didn’t use the shock function. Thankfully this was able to help me curb this horrible behavior. I’m going to use it with my older standard poodle to help her with recall command (she knows it; she’s just going through a rebellious teenager stage). And to add, battery life is much better than many of the competitors and the charging system is easy to use.

Beep and buzz are usually enough

I like that my girl has responded mostly to the beep and the buzz usually distracts her from what she is doing when she is going ballistic. I wish the timing was a little quicker; the beep or buzz does not happen right when the button is pushed so the unwanted activity has sometimes passed when her neck device goes off. Sometimes i’ve needed to use it to keep her from barking indoors and banging on the door stop spring but i’ve taken it off as i don’t want it on her all of the time. I have not seen any response to the shock feature which i’ve had up to 6; she doesn’t act as if she feels it. A learning curve exists here. I need to train myself to use it as much as she needs training. I am glad i don’t have to charge it constantly. Battery life is good.

5Expert Score
Definitely worth it!

I bought the collar for my husky/german shepherd rescue dog. He is very hyper, he’s a huge dog…over 100 lbs; i’m 5ft tall 120lbs. This dog was knocking me down and dragging me. We tried a trainer, worked for about a week. I couldn’t afford to keep paying for trainer after trainer. So, i opted for an e-collar. (i should have done this from the start)
i like that the remote is very slim, i can easily hold it, along with the leash, it’s really easy to use, easy to change the levels. The collar itself blinks intermittently, a neon green, which is perfect for when i walk him at night.
I’ve trained him with the ‘beep’ when he hears it, he knows it’s time to keep going. I’ve had to use the vibration button twice, it has really good vibration; i was able to hear it and feel it on the leash. The only minor,…. Very minor issue i had was with the snap/fastener. You have to actually hear it click to know it’s on securely. The first few times, i snapped it on but it didn’t click and half way through our walk it fell. It wasn’t until the 7th or 8th time that i figured out, that if it didn’t make the click sound, it would more than likely fall off. After figuring out the click, i’ve had no issues since.

Good purchase

This is the second shock collar we have purchased. The first one we tried was too bulky on the collar, the receiver was large and awkward with an antenna and the battery life was poor.
This collar did much better in every aspect. The receiver on the collar is a reasonable size, the receivers paired up immediately with the remote, and the remotes display is great. What i like most about this product is that the remote is slim and easy to keep in my pocket which makes the product much more useful. The battery life has also been excellent. We have gone over a week without charging it.
The beep and vibrate functionality is all i need to use most of the time. When the dog hears the beep he immediately stops his misbehavior.

Excellent pet training coillar

Item arrieved quickly and was neatly packaged and secure. Initially put the collar and remote on charge with the provided cord. Then read through the owners guide. Instructions are clear and concise. I have personally tested on myself both the low end vibrate and shock and both features work quite well. I have only used the low settings and they are just enough to get your pets attention. I do use the audible signal the most and that is adjustable so you can modify it for indoor and or outdoor use. I’ve had this for weeks not and only charged both items one time. A very well built product with good pet fit and the remote has handy lanyard. I would highly recommend this collar.

Amazing battery life!

This is the third time i tried training collars and this set is , by far, the best i’ve used. Other collars turn off randomly, which negates the purpose. I’ve had one that wouldn’t hold a charge passed a day.

The battery life is amazing. Had these for over three weeks and haven’t had to charge. There is a green indicator light on both the remote and the receivers that lets you know everything is working. Also, they’ve devised a way that you can securely remove the attached collar and put your own on. We plan on using different colors so we make sure to put the same collar on each dog after charging.

Being able to change the vibration power is a great benefit. The sleek design of the remote is great. We love this set!

5Expert Score
Worth the money

I am resistant to knowledge and therefore i have probably made all possible mistakes using this product like for example using the sound signal on one dog without noticing that the beep has been making my other dog totally freaked out. Consequently, i had to glue a piece of stiff tape over the sound button not to use it at all. This also helps me to recognize the front of the smooth remote without pulling it out from the pocket. Smart dogs are smart enough to quickly associate appearance of the device with the discomfort. Consequently, no device in sight, no submission. Also, fore example i have let my dog free in public without first well adjusting the collar. My bullterrier loves people, but they do not know it and by the looks alone it is pretty scary. I thought that the lady in question would get a heart attack. She survived, but i have learned the hard way that i should better control my experiments.

And so on. Summarily learning an intelligent use of the device has proved more like learning the bike riding then switching on a tv set with a remote. Otherwise, the device works well and on the whole i am happy with it. Sure the magnetic charging receptacle is tricky and the collar diameter difficult to regulate, but i would put it that any person with an average brain size should be able to ultimately master it.

For the price it is a steal because on the whole the device is well designed, with adequate and intuitive controls. It beats me though, what the warning sign on the display is about. The altogether lean instruction booklet says nothing on the subject. Tough luck i may die without finding out, or because of it (just kidding).

Saved our sanity

We have use this a few times with good results. Our six month old puppy is very headstrong. She will cry and cry when she does not get her way, specifically if she is not allowed to be with her humans. We have been trying to break her of this habit with no luck. Mostly we can keep her quiet because we keep her with us but that is not always possible. Whenever she makes any noise at all our neighbor comes knocking on our door to complain. We used the collar on vibrate mode and a quiet her down pretty well. We’ve been using it as a training device for the last couple of days and it seems to be working. I like that i can control the collar with the remote and that we can go from vibrate to shock at our discretion. My son tried zapping himself with a shock and it was not too bad, but we have not had to use it yet. Hopefully with enough training will be able to shower without our neighbor hunting us down.

Dog training collar

This e-collar is built well and is adjustable. I like that there are three different features that include, vibrate, buzzer and shock. So, far it seems to work but haven’t had a chance to use it for the purpose of the purchase. Looking to stop my young cavapoo from lunging at certain dogs in the neighborhood. It’s now dark when i walk him and we haven’t encountered any dogs on our walks. The lock feature is nice, but you need to have the remote on to use it and i once accidentally pressed the shock button when i didn’t want to. It’s good to have the laynard strap to help with that. I am confident that i’ll get the hang of this and get my pup under control with the help of this great product!

Good collar for cost

Collar was easy to use and came charged. Was really surprised by battery life- it was great! The tone was loud and vibration was good. My puppy was a little confused as to where it was coming from so it took a while for him to recognize the collar to the tone and vibration. Trying not to use the shock but love the plastic conductive caps. A plus for me! Overall a good collar and my 8 month old rhodesian ridgeback who is almost 100 lbs. Now has recognized that he does not like the vibration so when the collar goes on he slows his “roll” lol! Would recommend- one problem i had was the screws did come loose so it got 4 stars for that reason.

This is really working!!

Although i struggled a little during the set up (i’m technologically challenged) once i figured it out and sync’d the collar and remote, it is working out great! My senior dog was not liking having the grand puppy around. I’ve bought two other collars without any luck, this one is perfect i love the 3 options (shock, vibrate and buzz) end also love that i can control when it goes off. Others i bought are triggered by the barking, and i felt my dog was being punished with other dogs barking. I often find that just the buzzing sound is enough to separate the dogs. Painless but effective! I haven’t had to charge the collar yet since the initial installation, so i’m thinking the battery life is pretty long. It’s been a couple weeks!

Great training collar, remote design is too sleek.

I this training collar worked great! Our small dog was going on our busy road and this collar stopped that habit. The size of the collar itself was not too big for our small dog. Battery life was good, i also liked how the remote and collar charge at the same time. The remote was easy to use, the lock feature on the side ensured accidental sound, vibrations or shocks did not happen.

My only negative would be how sleek the remote is, it slipped out of my pocket and is now lost. I’ve had other collar/ remote combos before and the remote had a clip attached to help prevent losing it. Or if the collar had a “ping” feature to find the remote, that would be nice.

Overall works great until you lose the remote.

Worth the money

It took us a little while to get it to work correctly with our pup as there are so many different levels of shock and i didn’t want to hurt her too much but enough to let her know she’s on the wrong. Otherwise the collar has incredible battery, we’ve had it for 2 weeks and i plugged it in yesterday and it still have 2 of 4 bars. I would definitely recommend this collar to a friend! I love that the control is so small and thin it fits perfectly in my back pocket.

Good collar

I have the collar for my 50lb australian shepherd, blue heeler. I never use the shock feature. He responds just fine with the vibration or beep. I would recommend this to others. The lock feature is great as i have had other collars with out a lock and i have accidental beeped it while running. This remote is nice because the buttons are flesh with the remote and not rubber coated making it harder to accidentally hit.

Good collar

I really love the remote and collar, their battery life is outstanding. Once a week charging overnight while he’s sleeping and lasts thay long! Shock could be stronger but it does get his attention however he’s a german shepherd puppy with a thick coat. The beep and buz hardly get his attention but they probably need longer stubs in the collar which they come with..

Good 1st training collar

A little confusing to figure out all the buttons, but overall a good first training collar for our 6 month old lab. So far we’re happy with it.

It’s been very helpful so far! We are very hopeful for lots of improvement in his training moving forward! I will definitely be sharing this recommendation with friends with pups!

Durable battery

This product is better than any other electrical training collar that i have purchased. There are many amazing features about this training collar but my favorite is that it has a lock button that allows you to save on the collars battery life. I can use the collar for up to 4 days on both of my dogs before having to charge it. One feature that i wish was better on the collar would be the adjustable straps , they often shift, loosing the collar, allowing it to move out of place. I would rate this dog training collar a 9.5/10.
