Does amazon make efforts to ensure that batteries are not counterfeit?
The batteries sent to me were packaged in a box labeled ‘duracell coppertop batteries’ 24 count. The box of 24 batteries was marked ‘made in u.s.a- bethel connecticut.’ inside the box were 6 smaller boxes of 4 batteries each. The box indicated that the batteries have a guaranteed shelf life of 10 years.

Are all duracell batteries horrible now? ‘assembled in usa’ costco ones leak-they’re junk now.
In 2000, i noticed leaking for batteries expiring in 2005. They claimed the problem was fixed, but then saw leakage for batteries expiring in 2010, 2020, and 2025. Estimated damage exceeds $1000. Most of them came from costco. There was a class action settlement in 2020 for duracell flashlights sold at costco. Read about it on bloomberg. I only buy eveready from amazon now.

Is this made in usa? What the expired date?
These were made in china. The experation date was 2024. I’ve already replaced these batteries with newer duracell, which are also made in china, but with a 2030 expiration date. I think this was a fluke as i checked other reviews and found no one else who had this problem. I think it would be safe to order these from amazon.

I do not know if they are made in the u.s., but the packaging looks nothing like the one shown in the photo. It is instead a bulk package. There are cheaper sellers of bulk packages batteries.
Where do i send my batteries for a refund? Purchased three months ago, 2028 date on the battery. They are dead.

What was the date of manufacture?
Batteries came packaged four to a box, 6 boxes in one larger box… All boxes labeled duracell… No date of manufacture but state good for ten years… Good until until 2025……

I don’t have any idea where you could find a 3v battery. You could use 2 one and a half volt, and put them somewher remotely, with a long remote lead.

The aa’s are not in the house. Checked the aaa’s and not started on the carton but does say made in china on the batteries. That’s just great!

Found these to be of poor quality. Did not last long at all although expiration date was far off. Used primarily in a handheld gps so aware of how long they should last. Absolute waste of money sorry to say.

Yes, they would because as far as i’m concern they last a lot longer than most……..!!! In fact, when i get enough of them used i have 2 battery chargers & i’ll charge them right up……..!!!!
