What i like it’s easy to use, now it says 4min that’s about right, the glass is thin, plastic, is plastic so keeping an eye on, is important, sometimes all corn pops sometimes popcorn get scorched in the middle, more often yummy. I’ve bought 3 due to accident ( fragile)
1st time putting in sink, gently next time, 2nd have know idea, but that i wanted popcorn , so i ordered a 3rd one. I’ll probably order a 4th. So yes love this popcorn bowl

I purchased this for my husband’s anniversary gift as he loves his butter popcorn it’s very easy to use it’s dishwasher safe a half a cup {the lid is the measure)read directions tho} it makes a half a bowl 2 cups makes a big bowl the size of the container much safer than eating that old crap in a bag he thought it was a kool-aid jug funny joke i had to laugh and then i had to explain to him we like it we plan on using it a lot i recommend it if you love eating popcorn without the mess on the stove or eating those dry packs sitting in lard here you can use your own butter and it comes up tasting like movie theater popcorn every time as long as he likes it i’m a happy wife!

After trying many different types of products to pop corn rather than microwave packets i finally hit the jackpot! Great flavor, almost ever kernel pops (you have to do some trial and error for your microwave wattage) and love the top where the butter drips in.

I like this small popper. It makes just enough for me. I also have a larger one for when i need to make more. And melting butter over the popcorn is so easy. It doesn’t leave the popcorn soggy like some other poppers. I had to experiment with the timing. No big deal. I get few if any unpopped kernels and no burn.

This is my second popper, the first one broke in the dishwasher (most likely my fault) on the rim. The company has improved the design by placing a ring by the upper lip.

Love this thing, does not have to be washed between multiple uses. If this one gets broken i will buy again.

I bought this to replace my nordicware popcorn popper which is also for use in the microwave, trying to get away from plastic. It works very well, i do add a little bit of oil to it even though it did not say you had to, i just think the popcorn pops up more tender when you do. I don’t use the butter dispenser, instead i melt butter in a bowl and just pour it over the popcorn!

This product has changed my eating habits! So easy to make a small amount of popcorn with no additives. I eat this snack before bed and feel so full without any sugar or fats.

We were using another type (the rubbery kind) that popped popcorn well but was a bit of a mess to clean. Water would get stuck in the top in the dishwasher.

This was cleans better in the dishwasher. The handle helps lots when removing it from the microwave.

Each microwave is different. I got the timing right on the second batch and forward. Easy clean up. The popper and lid fit on the top row in the dishwasher. I put 2 pats of butter in the top and found this to be the right amount for lightly buttered popcorn. You can add a few shakes of salt to the corn before popping or after it is popped.

This makes a perfect size serving of popcorn for 2 people. Just as fast as store bought microwave popcorn but without all the chemicals. Also love that we determine how much butter or seasoning we want. I liked my whirlypop, but cleaning it wsa dangerous with the sharp edges. This is very easy to clean. We lost my last one, but it had lasted 4 years. Just bought this one and still love it.

This cute little glass pot in the blue silicone sleeve with a matching handle and lid is the perfect size for me. Before it arrived i went and got some jt white kernel popcorn from the store and as soon as it came i made some. All but 3 or 4 kernels popped and it was wonderful. Since then i have used the same 2 tablespoons of corn (to fill line on the lid) used butter to melt while popping and just good old air frying.

About the 5th batch it started burning and more kernels didn’t pop. I followed the above procedure and used their recommended 2 and a half minute cook time. I have a 1000 watt microwave and cannot figure out what the problem is. This has happened to me several times but i am not ready to give up on this pot just yet. I find it hard to believe it is the pot but equally as hard to believe it is the microwave which is less than a year old.

I would say to get it and give it a try. When it worked it really worked well and if i still have a problem i will go so far as to order it again. Examinations have not provided any clues. The pot is easy to clean and the lid that goes on it is loose but stays in its area.

So, disclaimer: i have only done microwave bag popcorn for decades. I have mastered the art of making popcorn. I can put the bag in and take it out until they are done to perfection. So idk if this is some sort of downside to this different ‘method’, but damn what a waste!

For the bags to be perfect, my microwave needs 1:15 minutes but i set it at 3 just in case.

So i’ve used this 4 times already:

the first time (two full measures) a handful got burned: i put them on for 3 mins and stopped it until it had 30 secs left!

The second time (two full measures), i didn’t burn any and they were popped to perfection, yay! I stopped it when it had 45 seconds left, however… About half a measure were left undone.

The third time (two full measures). I left it until there was 40 seconds left and i burnt about 3 popcorn, the rest were done to perfection and about 1/3 of a measurement was left undone.

I noticed that they started burning because they really don’t fit in the popper.

The fourth time, i tried with 1 1/2 measures and left it until there was about a minute left. They were done to perfection. Except about 20 corns weren’t done.

I got tired of wasting corns, so decided to rest run those undone ones in a second round and they popped, so that’s what i’m gonna do from now on!

Anyways, for the rest of the review: the taste is great! Better than the bag ones (i use orville oil that tastes like butter and a bit of salt). And, i have only cleaned it by hand and it’s easy to do so, but i don’t mix the oil or the salt in the popper.

I like this product. I purchased the blue/ green one. It’s retro looking and pretty. I bought the large one and i am glad as it’s quite small. No way would anyone want this in a smaller size. The price was right, it washes well and does a good job of popping healthier popcorn than microwave packet’s which are full of unhealthy toxins.

I wanted a popper that would drip butter as it popped and this does, but it starts to burn the kernels.
If you put the butter in at the beginning the first popped kernels will get a burnt flavor. I didn’t get the burnt flavor when i put the butter in midway. All in all though i really like. I do get weird looks when i tell people its for popcorn, they think it’s a coffee carafe.

I bought this because i was eating so much popcorn and it gets expensive when you buy bag popcorn. Not only is this a cheaper way to make popcorn it is so much healthier. The only reason i gave it four stars is because i feel there is a definite learning curve to getting the time right. I probably had 10 different batches that were not done or burnt before i got my time down exactly. I guess it really depends on each microwave so you need to play with it a bit.

It was a learning curve because this needs to be microwaved longer than a bag of popcorn. Aldo judy buy the bigger one…. This pops lie half a serving for me and then i want more but then the microwave time is different because it’s already hot

So, maybe it’s the kernels we bought, but it takes about 2.5 minutes for anything to start popping. And you need a ton of butter to even taste it. And by the time the popcorn is all popped, some of the butter is burnt onto the popcorn. The pot is cute and a great idea though. Maybe i just need to take some time to fine tune my craft

I got 2 one was really good but the other one the first use it caught on fire

There is about 60 percent pop rate. I tried three types of corn and three other popping methods. This popper had the lowest popped corn turnout.

This is a replacement for an old glass popcorn popper. It works well without oil. The capacity is huge and the wide mouth makes it easy to get popped corn out and to clean. The lid is supposed to act as a measuring up, but filling the lid only get the popper 1/2 full when popped. The timing is highly dependent on your particular microwave. The suggested 3 to 3 1/2 minutes was not nearly enough for us. You can also put butter in the lid to have it drip on the popcorn, still experimenting with this option as it doesn’t really change he popcorn flavor that much. Perhaps i need to use a lot more. Overall though, satisfied.
