I have multiple sclerosis and wasn’t getting enough water in my system because i’d have to go downstairs often to get ice and water, and for someone with ms and similar diseases, i didn’t go down as often as i should because of the fatigue and pain. I have this little guy up stairs and that alone raised my drinking of cold water. The ice cubes are empty on the inside of an otherwise solid piece of ice, which does make it work fast. I fill the little basket with ice cubes (takes a few cycles of making them) and use most of the ice in a 16 oz cup, and then use ‘cold’ water from our tap (we have good water in this area), and i end up with some of the ice melting from the water while still leaving some ice, which makes the perfect glass of water, esp since i drink kind of slow but my main water cup is stainless steel and double walled so that lasts until i need more. This is an investment in my health (partially regulates blood pressure too by thinning of the blood with water, so what i paid for it, especially in this heat, was worth every penny, and it does work well

I’m in love with this ice maker!!! I can have all the ice that i want and when i want it. They taste is good. It doesn’t taste like iron or chemicals because it uses our clean and purified water. The size of the ices is perfect and it is really fast to have your first drink with ice. It comes out really quick and what i do is, while i cooking i put the ice machine to work and in a few minutes i can have enough ice to make a pitch of green tea with ice for my whole family to dinner. I really recommend it!!!

Nice ice machine for household use. I love the nuggets! I like ice and always have a glass at night and this machine makes 9 nuggets every few minutes and filled my cup. Easy to set up and use.

My ice maker in my freezer went. It just stopped making ice. I was scouring amazon reviews for countertop ice makers. I need ice. I drink iced coffee all day, every day. Set this up, wiped it out, poured water in it and within 10 minutes i had ice cubes. It’s nice a quiet. You don’t even know it’s making ice until they drop in the basket. For the money this machine is amazing and worth it!

I love my countertop ice machine. It’s fast and easy plus it comes with a few bags to store extra ice in your freezer. Make small or large pieces. Perfect for making drinks at home with friends. Frozen margaritas here i come

I enjoyed my ice maker, is compact, and perfect for me. During the summer, it was really hot :0 and squeezed my orange juice with ice, delicious and refreshing. Even my plants enjoyed with heat hahaha

This ice maker was phenomenally excellent when my ice kept the drink so cold that i couldn’t stop loving it. To anyone who struggles to find a quiet ice maker product, this is your best option to order one for your family and will find a big difference of accomplishment. Please note it takes 10-11 minutes to make your ice.

I love this ice maker and the best part i left my ice in the ice maker overnight and the ice was still rock hard.

I purchased this for my office, and it was easy to set up and use! Fast making ice and a lovely addition to my breakroom.
Followed other reviewers’ advice, let it run and threw away the first few batches of ice.

I’ll admit, at first i didn’t like this and thought about returning it. The ice cubes were too small compared to what you can make in trays or in a fridge that makes ice. But after giving it a try and using the bags that came with it, i like having ice on hand.

It makes ice quickly, but there are caveats. Once made, the ice collects in a holding basket inside the water tank…where it slowly melts. Just enough that when you put it into the freezer, it sticks together. Not a problem but useful to know.

Also the device does not completely use the water in the reservoir so if you want your device to be dry between uses, you’ll have to drain the tank and either wipe it dry or leave it open to air dry. I just make ice every day and don’t think about it but going on vacation might be a concern.

I like the ice it makes. It’s just the right size for my water bottle and in 10 minutes i can make enough to use. I’d buy this again if i had to.

Maybe i didn’t read the fine print? Just to be clear, this makes the ice, but then you must transfer the ice to your freezer. It does not keep the ice cold in the ice maker indefinitely.

I like a lot of ice in my drinks, i make a bunch of ice with this and keep it in an ice bin in my freezer. A lot more work than just using the freezer ice maker, but i like the shape of these and also making ice with our natural spring water.

Works as it should. Makes ice slow, and it has to be put into the freezer right away or it melts. Its not very loud, but overall it is good.

The initial ice cubes (cylinders, really) are pretty thin, but be patient, as the machine runs a bit longer, they get thicker.
Our refrigerator ice maker broke and it was going to cost a fortune to fix, so this was a suitable answer!
The only negative i can see is that it doesn’t actually have a freezer function to keep the ice frozen once the bin is full…but i don’t really think that’s super important because if some of the ice melts, the water goes back into the reservoir and more ice is made.
We need a lot of ice for coolers (living in a beach community) so we just try to empty it into bags whenever the bin is full…and save the bags of ice in the freezer. (it even came with bags!…see photo) works great for our needs!

This ice maker was a great addition to our outdoor kitchen. Love the way the ice comes out.

Does what it needs to do. It can be a lot of work though. Would be better if basket for ice was bigger.

The ice maker makes ices exactly as stated in the description. Very quiet and ice cubes are not too large. However, i have noticed that there is a funny taste to the ice cubes. When i first got the icemaker i put water in it, then drained it to clean out any chemical residue from the manufacturer, then i ran 1 whole load of ice and threw them away before i make some for me to use in my tea. There is still a funny taste but hoping that will go away soon. I have made 3 loads that are in the freezer to use.

This was a birthday gift for a friend. She says that it’s great.

I really like this ice machine a lot. I read the reviews about the ice melting fast when it’s made and that is true, but doesn’t bother me. It’s better than having no ice. It works well and is quiet.

Ice is very wet when ejected and melts quickly. Must be frozen to use. A little time consuming to use and dump often. I expect all the tabletop models are similar.
