I’ve had this toaster for a month now. I love the fact that a middle setting produces medium toasted bread. My former long-slot toaster, with a single slot and clear window, had to be cranked to the highest setting to tackle the mysteries of browning bread. I also love the dual long slots on this one. I can toast 2 pieces of artisan loaf sourdough at the same time. What a concept! This toaster looks good, functions better, and if it lasts (which i expect), will go down as an allstar in my annals of toaster history. Goat? May be too early to bestow that designation, but definitely in the running. Oh, and did i mention affordable? Toaster nirvana awaits. (and no, i didn’t receive this free, or get a discount for this review, but hey, feel free to send me free stuff…)

My expensive breville toaster finally gave up the ghost after almost 10 years of great service. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money this time, but wanted a toaster that could accommodate long, thick slices of bread. When i read the other reviews for this toaster, i was a little apprehensive when people said the toast went flying across the room when it popped up. It does definitely pop up with gusto (my old toaster rose slow and easy), but so far, the toast has not flown out. I do typically use a heavier bread, so that’s probably why it stays put. It toasts pretty evenly on both sides. All in all, i’m happy with it.

This narrow toaster is just perfect foe the place i needed it. It is nice looking and all the features work as expected. It puts out so much heat that i do have to pull it out from under the upper cabinets because it will get them hot.

If you need a toaster i would highly recommend this one! It works well, easy to clean and if you want to toast 1-4 pieces of toast, english muffins, bagels, etc. It works great. Also if you like to get artisan breads that are a lot wider this works as well as it is two large slots instead of 4 regular toast size slots.

We received the package as the description and are happy with this toaster. Right now, we are using this one almost every morning to prepare our breakfast and found it very nice. Even, my 8 years daughter can easily use it to prepare her own breakfast.

Just like the toaster i grew up with. Not too many controls. Put in bread, choose the darkness and toast. The newest ones confuse me. I am very happy. I make toast, waffles & pancakes (the frozen ones). Perfect for me.

The appearance is simple and easy to use. When you get up in the morning, throw 2 pieces directly into it and you can do other things. At that time, it will pop up automatically. The baked bread is crispy, and some jam and peanut butter are added, which is simple and nutritious.

I am sometimes skeptical on buying anything electrical online, but this was a real surprise. Looks great and works great too. Both sides of the bread is toasted perfectly and it is easy to operate. One of the main things i like is that the controls are on the front. I highly recommend this product!!!

The price is right, works well for me, but i live by myself, not sure if it would stand up to constant use, but great for me!

The middle gets a bit hotter than the side so the bread close to the middle will get burnt if using a medium or high setting

First, here is what i like:
1. I like the fact that this toaster doesn’t get too hot on the outside. The surface gets warm but doesn’t burn you.
2. Toasting is even.
3. I can finally toast whole slices from round loaves. With a smaller toaster i had to cut each slice in half.
5. I like the flip-up grille rack for heating things that are too thick for the slots.
5. The pop-up is energetic. I was worried that the toast would fly out and land on the countertop, but they don’t. They do fly out and actually sometimes clear the top of the toaster, but they fall right back down into the slots. It’s kind of fun to watch.

Things that could be better:
1. There’s no ‘bagel’ setting to toast on one side. I don’t eat bagels so i don’t care, but it may matter to you. On the other hand, there’s that pop-up grille on which you could set your bagels to toast them on one side.
2. The rectangular loaves of bread i buy have slices that are slightly more than 5 inches wide. The slots of this toaster are exactly 10 inches long, so i cannot fit two slices in it unless i turn them sideways, but then the end of each slice sticks out of the top, making them under-done. The big-brand-name breads would fit fine, but i wish the designer had included just another 1/4 inch of length!
3. Temperature is overall lower than my last one, so i need to turn it up to the halfway point for a ‘normal’ toast setting.
4. I don’t really know what the ‘defrost’ setting is for; that seems like a feature nobody will use. Frozen bread or waffles defrost and toast just fine with the normal setting when temperature is turned higher. If it’s not done enough, i just run another cycle.

Overall, i’m quite happy with this applicance. Looks good, reasonably compact, doesn’t take up much space.

This 4 slice toaster is a great size and has a really clean look. Love that i can put a whole slice of sourdough lengthwise in the larger slot. The only downside i’ve found is the temperature control. Light brown toast is about a 1.5 dark toast is 2 and burnt is 3 this toaster goes all the way to 6, havent braved using it that setting yet. 6 might be good if you want to use it as a space heater? The other fun feature is the spring that lifts your toast is pretty strong if your using smaller bread to toast it will literally launch it out of the toaster onto the counter. Only happened a few times so far definitely a surprise though! Overall it works well and i’d recommend it to others

It’s a little tiny so if you eat bagels for example, make sure that the two slices are not super thick or it might burn a bit. It is cool to the touch on the outside so that’s nice. The drop down tray is nice and makes for easy clean up. However it seems like no matter how many minutes i put the toaster on, it has a slight burnt smell. It’s not awful but a little bothersome.

Decent budget toaster. Took about three or four toastings until it quit overdoing the sides facing the middle of the unit but that seems to have worked itself out. Two issues…the knob that adjusts the darkness is a little wobbly and there is no cutoff button to stop the toasting before the timer goes off. No bells and whistles but, hey, it’s a toaster.

Great toaster but the depth is not deep enough to handle larger slices of bread. I have to run it through a toast cycle then flip the bread over to get the top toasted. For reference, the bread i’m toasting is the great value (walmart) sourdough.

Very happy with the quality and the look of this toaster. I have been looking for quite a while and couldn’t find what i wanted at a reasonable price. This fits the bill!

A built bulky for the counter . Should of bought a more square four slot but i wanted to be able to toast a wider type loaf

I would not buy another one. Very cheap. Broke after about 9 months and always smelled very hot.

This is a pretty good toaster. However the tippy top of the bread does not really toast and one side is always darker.

It was too long for counter so i sent it back but amazon keeps asking for a review.
