Was a christmas present for my son, he has loved looking at the moon and craters so far. Its been awesome to help him sight it in on the moon and seeing how excited he gets to see the moon so clearly. Hoping to try and find mars when weather cooperates. Customer service has reached out to make sure we didn’t need any help which was really nice and helpful!

This is a great product. Very handy and easy to use. Kids are loving it.

Really nice telescope! I have seen jupiter and her 4 moons, i’m not sure since i’m a beginner, but i think i’ve seen venus and saturn too & obviously have checked out the moon loads of times. The one problem i have is when i try to use the 3x barlow lens or the 6mm lens i can’t ever find the stars i’m looking at with the naked eye. Also the telescope is very stiff and the directional handle is very hard to move and put the telescope in the correct position. I wish i had bought the model with the bag as i’m having a hard time transporting the telescope back and forth, inside and out. The tech support is fantastic and they are very willing to talk to you about any questions you might have and to solve any problems you might have.

I brought this for my 2 grandsons for christmas. It will be interesting to see if either one or both
stay with it……..

My 9 year old son is space obsessed right now. This was a great gift for his birthday. We had alot of fun viewing and taking pictures of the moon last night. I felt like a little kid and was just as excited as he was. My husband and 10 year old joined in on the fun too. We had some good old family fun. I personally love how the pictures came out!

The model 40070 with backpack : the backpack is certainly a plus. All parts in the description were in the box. The tripod is light but it is well built with nice adjustments. The phone wireless control is very easy to pair with our 2 different phones (samsung a71 and zte blade vantage 2 ) and it is easy to take picture without touching anything but the wireless control. The telescope has a very nice looking dark blue color. We will have to try all the parts in a clear sky to see if it is good for astronomy, so we will come back for more comment soon. So far very happy.

I haven’t yet been out to try it, but i took time at home to assemble and gain familiarity. All moving parts tightened just fine on the telescope itself, but the phone adapter is useless. It doesn’t grip the eye piece enough and falls every time.

Didn’t receive the correct item. Update: once the box was opened, it was actually the telescope i ordered! The box was deceiving.

Can wait for my grandsons to open christmas!!

Maybe i don’t have it assembled right, but i can’t see anything out of it. I also have one lense that i don’t know where it goes
