There is one difference. On one stage, the boy puppy sings, ‘my ears are soft, my ears are blue. I love my ears. How about you?’ the girl puppy sings, ‘my ears are soft, my ears are pink. I love my ears. What do you think?’ otherwise, they are the same, other than the pitch of the voice and the outward appearance.
Anyone have issues with the puppy randomly not working? We had one that stopped working all together & was only a few months old.
I thought ours had stopped working too. I had pressed every button and changed the batteries… Turned out to be that it does turn off and you have to press and hold the white foot with the smart stages shown on it! Once i did that, it worked fine! And continues to! Hope this helps! If not, reach out to fisher price customer service, they’ll make it right…. They’ve sent replacement items to us in the past free of charge!

I purchased it for my granddaughter for christmas. She was seven months old then. She was able to press the buttons with guidance. I would recommend 7months and up.
