Our old ice machine broke down, it was one of the bullet ice machines which we really liked but when it was time to get a new machine, we decided to spend a little bit more to get the “good ice“. This ice lasts longer, keeps your drink cold or longer and is great if you wanna chew it. My husband and i are really happy with the machine so far. We’ve only had it about a week so obviously things can change and if they do i will edit the review.

I got one for my home and me and my mom use it constantly. As someone who supports and takes care of my own mother, this has been a godsend to me. It’s easy to clean and maintain, as well as easy to fill. I even tend to forget it at times because it just always makes the ice, until i need to fill up the reservoir again, but it’s so easy to use. A small but amazing piece of equipment that me and my mom have come to use every day now.

We have been waiting for a nugget ice maker for years. This is just what we wanted and very happy we bought it. Easy to fill, and it fills up with ice super fast.

My wife has been wanting one of these ice machines. Priced $50 cheaper than walmart. Five year warranty for $50. Best purchase i have made in some time. Happy wife, happy life!

My brother asked me for a countertop, ‘hospital’ ice maker. I’m glad i paid a couple hundred dollars more for this frigidaire appliance, instead of one the many, many other machines that my amazon product search returned.

Amazon, please, when someone searches for ‘hospital ice’ or ‘nugget ice’ do not make them wade through dozens of inferior bullet ice makers.

Just received my countertop ice maker and it’s the best! Very quiet and is already making the best soft ice….i’m so excited to have it

Love the ice and quantity it makes. Refill a little cumbersome to do. I use only purified water, and it’s a little hard to get the bottle situated so it doesn’t spill. Holds almost a gallon of water. Worth it. All i want to do is eat ice all day and i do. Excellent machine.

Noice level is extremely high.
Runs out of water extremely quick.

Used maple times every day. Could be quieter, but it’s an ice maker.

I purchased this machine after my ge opal nugget machine died. This machine was about half the price and so far works just as well.

Pros: super easy set up. Literally, fill with water and plug it in. Soft chewable ice ready in about 15 minutes. Price was right.

Cons: the height of the ice maker is about an inch too tall to fit on my counter top/beneath upper cabinets. So i have it set up on my kitchen table. This will only be an issue on holidays when i have extra family at the house. Second con is that the machine is tall and thin so the bucket that catches fills to the point that when you scoop ice you almost always drop a few nuggets and have to hunt them on the floor

The ice machine works very fast producing ice. Major downfall….we work in an office and if you don’t empty daily it doesn’t stay fully cold and melts all over the place. We have come into major water on the floor. Now we just waste alot of ice dumping daily to prevent this.

I have to tilt it up in front by a few degrees to keep it fro leaking, it is also very noisy

I bought this to have ice on the road. This is huge.

Other than it being a little noisy every now and then, it is an awesome product. Ice makes fast, and is moderate soft.

Purchased to replace worn out ge opal which my wife really loved. The ad seemed to indicate it was soft ice like the opal but the vibes are firmer. The opal died in about 3 years and supposedly are not repairable. The opal had gone up to a ridiculous high price about$150 more than originally paid. This unit was much more affordable and the cubes are small enough not to break any teeth. If the ice was a little softer i would have given it 5 stars across the board and am not sorry we bought it. So much better than the typical ice cruncher than in any fridge we have owned.

Machine to loud! But works great!

Ott rett her than some minor pop & clicking noise this little ice machine works great. We have had a couple months now & have really enjoyed it. Just remember it does have some noise but it works fine.

The noise level is loud. It sounds like the microwave is running all time. We had to place it in the garage.
