This was such a great time saving purchase! I am upset that it took me this long to purchase this. This has been my #1 cheat code to meal prepping and eating healthy. My salads now contain more veggies than ever and my eyes are no longer in tears after cutting onions. It is sturdy as long as you use it in the container it comes with, otherwise it will move around on other bowls/plates. It’s easy to clean if you rinse it with hot water right after finishing use. It does have some trouble with tomatoes (the skin) along with celery, cilantro/spinach, as this sticks in the upper crevices and you end up washing off most of it. Quite frankly i don’t mind cutting spinach/cilantro by hand. I’ve sliced avocado, boiled eggs, onions, jalapeños, squash, carrots, zucchini, and bell peppers with no issues at all. I highly recommend you purchase this as it saves me soooo much time!

This reminds me so much of the dice-o-matic and veg-o-matic gadgets advertised on tv in the 1960s and 70s — ‘it slices! It dices!’ the chopper is well-designed and made using sturdy, quality plastic and metal. It does a much better job cutting onions than i ever could by hand, and with far fewer tears. (my eyes get really irritated when i cut onions by hand). Haven’t tried the spiral cutter yet but expect it to perform equally well. The clear plastic tray is super convenient for holding diced vegetables (and for holding the extra attachments when not in use). The chopper disassembles and cleans up easily. But keep your fingers away from the metal blades — those things are sharp, as they should be! I still managed to slightly cut the tip of my index finger while cleaning — more a reflection of my own forgetfulness and klutziness than anything. I will definitely buy this chopper again if it ever wears out (and i don’t expect it to).

I was skeptical buying this upon reading some reviews. However, i’ve had no issues using this. No you can’t put a whole onion on top and think you can press it down and it will dice. Do you really expect it to do that? But i love the even pieces and is certainly safer than chopping. The extra tools that come with it really work to get out food if you decide to clean it buy hand. Good purchase.

I’ve had more than a few choppers over the years. I am easily distracted, so the more promptly i can prep every vegetable that comes into my house, the more likely they will be eaten rather than become vegetable sludge in the bottom of the crisper drawer.
My requirements for a chopper have evolved as i’ve experienced them:
1) uniform cutting. A couple of whirling blades that mince stuff are fine if you need minced stuff, but that doesn’t work for salads.
2) quiet. I don’t like having to slam the lever down to get a clean cut; i don’t want 80 decibels of food processor damaging my ears or interrupting the rest of my household.
3) the ability to lock the blade in place to help prevent accidental cuts.
And most importantly,
4) 100% dishwasher safe. My dishwasher uses 2.5 gallons to wash a whole load; i would use that much just getting a chopper clean.

Fullstar hits all of those points, plus having a wide variety of blades available, though not all fullstar choppers have all of the blades. This one is chopper focused, with a couple of spiralizer blades. If you want a mandoline as well, that’s on another model. The 11 blade one, under fullstar’s store. (the blades are interchangeable, and there can be good reasons to have more than one vegetable prep tool.)

this chopper is quiet, dishwasher safe, as safe as the extremely sharp blades can be made and still do their job, and chops beautifully. And the chopping platform is bigger than most of the other choppers on the market, so you will spend less time cutting down your produce to fit the chopping stage.

Most importantly, it’s accessible. You still need to pick your produce carefully — a soft tomato will squish more than a firm one. You will have to cut the core of a bell pepper or peel an onion before chopping. You may find that you start buying produce to fit this device, so there’s less work with a knife beforehand. Which means this is a safer option for people with essential tremor, arthritis, or other injuries that limit dexterity.

I would not hand this to a child to play with, but i’d be okay letting a 5 year old put ready-to-chop vegetables on the platform and close the lever, or use the spiralizer to make zoodles. I would definitely trust a responsible 8 year old with it.

This one is more expensive than its competition. In this case, you definitely get what you pay for with the cheaper ones — poor alignment, containers that warp on the first wash, dull blades. This one will be with you for years. The other ones may not make it through the return period.

This thing works great! I’m able to have my son help me prep dinner and he loves it. It is sturdy and cuts well. The only small issue is that the blade has a lock system making it easy to take out but the other piece that is used to push the veggie on the blade is incredibly hard to pop out so i have to just leave it in to clean it.

I love how easy it is to use to chop tomatoes and onions! I didn’t think it would cut tomatoes as well as it did. I’ve bought choppers before that would only shred my tomatoes and leave a mess. Mostly make tomato sauce. I gave it 4 stars because i have to use force for certain sizes of onions or it leaves a chunk of onion stuck to the metal part instead of chopping it, but if u keep pushing on it it gets it and chips it all. Also it’s easy to clean, but you do have to be very careful or you’ll cut yourself, i know cuz i did! I’m so glad i got this! It’ll definitely be using it over and over! Definitely recommend!

I’m going to admit it….saw this chopper on tik tok and decided i needed it.

Easy to assemble and chops like a champ. Two dice sizes and a few other attachments make it an all-in-one super accessory for my kitchen.

I purchased this product and highly recommend it. Be careful with cleaning. Metal chop parts are sharp.

I never knew a kitchen gadget could change my life, but it has. I just got mine yesterday and tried it out today on some veggies for my salad and holy moly!! This thing is legit!! It’s extremely sturdy and cuts each veggie perfectly!! The parts are super easy to remove and wash. It even comes with a cleaning brush specifically to remove food bits from the grid. It has add on spiraler blades, which i haven’t tried but can’t wait to. Just buy it!! Trust me!!

All you need is a little bit of strength to push it down and then you get a beautiful smooth slice of whatever your slicing!!
It hasn’t been long i bought it but so far so good, more info coming up later.

Love the ease of use… After two small cuts on different fingers from the blades, i would caution similar newcomers to this product to keep hands completely away from the very sharp blades.

No damage that two waterproof band-aids couldn’t cure!

I’m a dum bum and picked up a plate to place it in chopper and picked up the wrong side and cut my fingers bad, so it is very sharp. This thing is handy if you’re doing a lot of chopping. For a few things, i’ve found i don’t bother getting it out just to have to clean all the pieces. Sometimes produce gets stuck in it and won’t chop all the way. My biggest complaint is if you are getting this for any kind of assistive device because of pain or disability, the snacking or slapping motion required to force it downward so it will actually chop is allot and pretty painful. This was the reason i replaced the slap chop.

I’ve only used this to chop onions. I peel the onion first. If it’s a larger onion, i then quarter it; otherwise i halve it. Then i put it in the chopper. I give it a good push down, then the chopping is done. It has always chopped the onion on the first attempt. I clean it by hand, and it’s fairly easy to clean. I always notice a few tiny dried up pieces of onion on the blades a few hours later, but that’s probably normal.

My wife saw this being used in a trend online and i was hesitant to get one. However, this has exceeded my expectations and made cooking at home even easier! Still hasn’t fixed the tears i shed when chopping onions though…

Love this happy i bought it, it’s very easy to use. I even cut celery and carrots with it. It’s a game changer don’t hesitate to get it. So happy i did.

I have not even used this chopper just yet, but i can verify it looks extremely sturdy, the attachments look great, and the blades are extremely sharp. They destroyed my poor dish sponge. I can’t wait to use this and see how it chops!

It does work, but you gotta use your whole arm muscle and power to push the lever down so it can chop the half onion i put in there. Had to return it because the main reason i bought it was so i can chop veggies easily without using my injured shoulder… This ain’t for me i guess… But it does the chopping, you just need to use some shoulder strength and some arm power… Maybe my shoulder is super weak, that’s why i couldn’t push the lever down and had pain while doing so.. Also be careful, the blades are sharp.

First time using this was a little difficult. I had to press or punch the top too hard several times to cut spinaches, bell peppers, and onions. It certainly took at least a minimum of a gallon of water to clean up the entire parts of the chopper.

Works good .only used one cutter twice no problems so far

Pros: makes veggie prep easier and faster.
Cons: very difficult and time-consuming to clean. I can never get it 100% clean, there’s always onion on the blades after. It’s hard to push down and chop the veggies sometimes. Carrots hands will stain the white top.
