High price = supply & demand. The manufacturer is pepsi & they’re having issues even getting the plastic for the bottles.

What are our customers saying?
Recently found out gatorade really helps out if youre always dehydrated, i always am and have noticed i get more energy and feel more hydrated at work drinking these. Also can confirm when the powder got here they do have their own scoop, seemed like some people said they didnt get a scoop but every jar ive ever gotten always had a scoop, if you cant find it its prob burried in powder just fyi. If you have a smaller water bottle i recommend getting a funnel to help pour and to add a lil more than what the jar says to add according to oz of water, for more flavor.
My wife needs a lot of hydration due to her chronic illness, and gatorade is one of the products i use to keep her hydration up. With the recent inflation, the bottled version keeps increasing in price, along with the company’s decision to reduce the volume from 32 oz. To 28 oz. Thus, this product is certainly more cost-effective. The delivery was essentially ok, but one container was dented, and the delivery driver placed the box directly in front of our front door’s storm door on our front porch, thus i couldn’t even open the door! Otherwise, all is fine.

I don’t know why i never thought to buy this honestly. It’s so much cheaper and saves me alot of $. Its also nice being able to adjust the serving size depending on how much sugar i want that day. I can make it a little less sweet and not have so much sugar. It tastes exactly like the bottled stuff. Will def buy again. I hope they come out with the sugar free one
My favorite gatorade is the green colored arctic blitz. They don’t sell that variety as powder so i thought i’d try to make it using the base colors. Since i only has blue and orange i made more of a turquoise and the ratio needed to be 3 to 1 blue over orange and it turned out great
Wish i had this when i was stationed in mobile, al. I might’ve survived with more of my dignity and temper in place. In very hot, very humid (sometimes up to 90%) north carolina, i always have a glass fridge jug of this made up and ready for post-jog replenishment of fluids.
Be sure to retain the last can as sometimes the shipped can can be damaged in transit, and you’ll need a can with lit intact. The scoop is sometimes buried within the mix (settling during transit), so having a scoop at the ready can be helpful.
Otherwise, this size is a no brainer for someone using it a lot, or supplying more than one person with post-exercise thirst.
If your debating switching from bottled gatorade to powder u need to now! 1 it’s better for the environment.2 it’s 30000000000x better than normal gatorade don’t ask me why but it’s just so much better you get much more for your money and it’s like 6 gallons for 20 instead of 2 gallons for 20
Wow been using this powder for years. Are you tired of lugging home tons of plastic bottles filled with gatorade? And thats only after gatorade is on sale?? No more. Powder gatorade is fantastic. Same great flavor and hell saving tons of money. Not really tons but at least $30 to $50. Plus you stop polluting the planet with plastic bottles. Think about it? Great product!
I really like being able to buy this in powder form; as long as i have water, i can mix gatorade. I found myself stuck in a hotel room this summer with a full can of gatorade powder, 5 gallons of water, and a 32 ounce bottle to mix in … Perfect way to do some very in-depth research, i had all the chugging liquid i could drink. Living it up!
It was a lot easier for me to use because i had an old scooper from a previous can that i was about to throw away. The scoop for this can was buried all the way down near the bottom, so unless your filling a 5 gallon jug it takes a while to get to it. For a time i actually thought this size didn’t come with a scooper. After several weeks i finally got the level low enough to see it. Flavor isn’t strong which is nice; i may try the fruit punch next.
It was a toss up for me. The flavor was good…the measuring scoop was like out of the koolaid can…no line measurements markers…and their measurements are for 12 ounces 32 ounces a half gallon and a gallon…their normal size retail bottles are 20 oz and 28 ounces…so you have to do some mental math if you wanna refill one of those puppies anyway keep in mind you are using your own water. I use my store bought water which is 16.9 oz. And kinda guesstimate. For the 12 oz drink you use half a scoop and there are no markers so i figure it’s all ‘guesstimation’ (not a word) anyways… I’d rather use less than more tho. So ok..it would have been five stars but for the measuring…as far as price…its about the same when you factor in your bottles of water..(that’s if you buy water) …the taste was good…a little saltier than the ready made bottles but its good… I will always keep a can on hand in case i don’t have any gatorade because there is nothing worse than needing one and can’t get to the store. It is worth having just in case of nothing else.
Very helpful when on the go. Makes more gatorade with powder than an equal cost would in liquid.
I like to have this because i want to be able to make it a bit less sweet and use less plastic. It is a great product. I do wish it hadn’t arrived with the metal seal on the top broken. A bit of a mess. But other than that im happy.
This is exactly what it is suppose to be. And is a good value. But every time we ordered one, it came damaged. The last one being busted completely open, and we lost most of the product in the box.
Good value. Compared to buying it by the six pack in stores this is extremely cheap. If you’ve got a spoon and a water bottle or glass it is easy to make. Takes about 30 seconds. I exercise heavily and use it every other day.
Its great to not worry about running out for a while though does taste a bit sour.
Got 3 of these all arrived intact & sealed, they were packaged in a box perfectly sized for each cannister that was inside a larger box, some of the air bags had deflated. I still prefer powerade but they stopped make it.
This has lasted way longer than getting the bottles of gatorade. While it doesn’t taste as good as the bottles, it pretty darn close. And i can refill a bottle and not have my recycle bin overflowing.
Easy enough to make that my son can do it himself. Win!
Honestly i get the value, but i feel it is impossible to get the consistency of regular gatorade without a few tastes and modifications. Idk it just takes too long and it’s annoying i have to taste too diluted or too thick gatorade before i start enjoying it
