2 pairs of jeans with a couple of t-shirts worked well.
3 moderate quality bath towels (if you have very thick towels only 2).
One set of adult sized clothes with towel and washcloth.
One set of sheets for queen size bed.
Soak, wash, spin maximum cycle 55 minutes.
Spin was sufficient for hang drying indoors in about 3 hours at 50% humidity and 75 degrees fahrenheit (more or less based on thickness of material).

Yes you can without any problem. It takes water 6 times.

1. At initial run.
2. After 1 minute of first step.
3. At start of rinse.
4. After 1 minute of 3rd step.
5. At the end of rinse.
6. After 1 minute of 5th step.

It becomes quite so you know when it needs water. Also keep pouring the water and tub will start rotating when water level reaches as required by appliance even if the lid is open. Then you can safely close the lid and stop pouring in water.

The machine comes with a hose. The hose has 3/4′ female pipe threads on both ends. To connect it to a faucet you will need to take a trip to home depot and buy 2 pieces of hardware. All faucets have threaded piece called aerator – an attachment with small mesh that water goes thru on the way out. The first piece to buy is either faucet adapter or faucet coupler. Faucet adapter is a small metal adapter with faucet aerator thread on one end and standard garden hose thread on the other. Coupler is similar but it comes in 2 parts that can snap together like quikconnect on garden house. One part you attach to faucet and it actually has mesh inside, so it works like aerator. You attach it once and leave it on forever. Adapter you will have to attach every time you connect machine and disconnect after to get your faucet back.
The second part is thread adapter. The hose that comes with the machine is 3/4′ pipe thread, faucet adapter or coupler comes with 3/4′ hose thread. Pipe thread and hose thread have same diameter but are not compatible, hose has bigger threads. You will need an adapter from 3/4′ female pipe thread on your hose to 3/4′ hose male that exists on coupler. Home depot has all that hardware. Adapters cost $6-$7, coupler is $14. You will need to spend $15 – $20 to create a convenient hookup.

Default cycle is wash-rinse-spin. The machine will fill the tub 3 times during this cycle. Full tub is about 8 gallons, low water setting is 4 gallons. So a standard cycle with full tub will take 24 gallons.

This is a great little machine. I put 6 shirts that are like light golf shirts 1 pair of cotton black pants 3 bras 5 pairs of sox 5 underwater. The only problem i have is that it leaks at the faucet when it’s done filling. So i have to shut the water off and babysit the wash for the rinse fill. It fills 2 times to rinse.

This takes about 4 gallons for a wash, then another 4 gallons for a rinse, then another 4 gallons for the second (overkill) rinse.
If you need to be careful with your water you should select wash, then select rinse, then select spin. That way you don’t do the pointless second rinse.

I wouldn’t recommend using the pods because the plastic may mess up the machine. If you already have the pods, i would cut it open with scissors and pour the liquid into the machine instead (toss the plastic part). Regular liquid detergent is the best.

As i remember it did come with a supply hose. It looked to me to be weak. I threw it away. I had a heavy duty washing machine hose from my last washing machine. That is what i am using.

I was able to return mine because of a basket problem. Very helpful and i was able to receive a new one

Yes, this unit acts just like a real washing machine. Automatically adds water, spins, then drains. The only problem i have is the water pressure going into the unit needs to be relatively low, otherwise some will leak out of the back of the unit. Other than this, it works flawlessly. I would purchase one again.

I recommend to buy in home depot adaptor ( quick release kit) for the sink.

Why are you filling it with bucket? My mom lives in a tiny apartment with no washer or dryer. I bought this for her and she hooks the water hose to her bathroom sink and puts the drain hose in her commode. She loves it and it works perfectly.

I just use a bucket to fill it up.

I keep my washer next to my kitchen sink and drain right into the sink. But i made a loop with some cord around my faucet to hook the drain hose to it to keep it from kicking out of the sink. It works great for me.
