I bought a couple of these on amazon and sent them to friends and family just after thanksgiving. Everyone commented on how awesome the chocolates in the calendar were. A few people noted that it was the best advent calendar they’d ever had! One person, a chocolate connoisseur, said that there were no ‘typical yucky’ chocolates as one finds in an assortment box. A big hit and i’ll get these again next year!

I ordered 2 chocolate advent calendars–one godiva and one lindt–because i know they a both excellent chocolate. One was for my husband and one for me so we could each enjoy one chocolate each day of december before christmas. I chose the godiva because i liked the packaging. It was the right choice! It was fill size chocolates and delicious. I am sure the lindt was also good but it was small pieces and, in my opinion, not.of the same quality ot variety. Next year, we will both get godiva!

Lovely variety of dark, milk, and white chocolate. Fun treat if you can hold back to one a day! Personal challenge.

I’m very happy with this purchase. I was looking for a ‘grown-up’ advent calendar for myself and this fit the bill exactly. It’s a bit pricey, but it was reasonable given the quality of choclate.

Can i get hired to be a taste tester? Delicious.

If you have chocolate lovers, this is a great gift. This year i gave two away and of course kept one. I have loved opening advent days since a child and what fun to have a scrumptious piece of godiva chocolate. It is a bit pricey

Great gift – arrived late but no issue.

Purchased this for my mom! She’s always loved godiva chocolate and she gets to enjoy a piece everyday! It is a little pricey but you’re paying for the godiva brand. Worth it to see my mom smile!

Have to my daughter at college to help her focus she will be home soon for the holidays. She loved it so much. Looked forward to her daily treat.

My daughter always wanted an advent calendar, so we thought this would be a great option. Every day there is a new piece of chocolate to enjoy. It was like opening a new gift every day. My daughter has liked every piece of chocolate in this package. The only negative thing i can say is that all the chocolates were grouped together, dark chocolates first, then milk chocolate, finally some white chocolate near the end, my daughter thought it would have been much better to randomize it more. Still a recommend.

The godiva chocolate is very good, however, there are days that have no chocolate. You think that you are getting 24 pieces (it’s an advent calendar), but there is nothing available for dec 15th. Not sure if this happens later in the month as well. It’s not as if the box has moved and there is chocolate somewhere else in the calendar. There is section to open for 15, but there’s a blank wall with no slot for anything. Wouldn’t give this as a gift as i have no way of knowing if there are other days with this issue.

These are small and expensive for what you get but they were a gift for my sister, she said they were really good. They are also cheaper here than on godiva’s website.

I wanted to love this advent calendar. Instead i just like it. Some chocolates are too big, some too small. Many are overly sweet.

We enjoy having a piece each day as we count up to christmas. Just disappointed that there was no piece to enjoy on the 7th day.

Gift

The chocolates are good, but since i ordered in summer season, they came melted. These chocolates do not resist a lot of heat, as even when i let them solidify, they would melt again even if the room was cold, just because some sun hit them.

They are delicious, delicate chocolate with a large variety. I loved every flavor. I just don’t know if i could order them online.

Really pricey compared to other competitors… But… Very giftable. Arrives in a box marked with the godiva label, so be careful if your gifting it for your live in girlfriend, otherwise your ‘other’ girlfriend will not see it. Boxes are shrink wrapped together and this helps keep them fresherish. My live in girlfriend, liked them, i got munsen chocolates for the other girlfriend… Both were happy and that is all that matters.
