Does any one knows if this product is made in china?
The back of the box says ‘proudly manufactured at our plant in kansas city, missouri’. There is a small american flag also next to this writing. The box also lists the nutro company at franklin, tn. I want to mention that aside from english, there is also writing that i think is in the french language, not sure why. My doggy loves these snacks, i hope they are not made anywhere near china. I stopped a lot of my puggle snacks because of the news that china was tainting snacks and pet food with melamine.

The listing says 130 treats, but the photo of the box only shows 36? Is the price for 130 treats?
When i click on the photo it shows the petite size comes with 96 treats. I don’t have the box anymore to tell you what my box said. But it was way, way more than 36 treats.
Do the teenies actually come in a canister for $24.59? Are they fresh and not close to expiring? Not expired , stale or crumbly ? I read other customers reviews that had complained of this. If they come in a canister and are fresh sounds like a great deal. Thanks
Yes this size does come in a container. We sell a lot of this product, so they should have a good expiration date to them. At this time, the expirations shows best if used by october 2015.

I wouldn’t give more than 1 a day of the appropriate sized greenie. They are a treat and not intended to replace daily food/kibble intake, does not have the same nutrition (and they shouldn’t). If your dog is overweight then food may need to be reduced to accommodate treat giving.
It is an adjustment going from med/large dogs to a small dog. Their stomachs are much smaller and most little dogs would love to eat as much yummy stuff as you would give them. But you have to remember that kindness is giving quality and correct quantity. I would not recommend breaking or cutting greenies to smaller pieces- not as beneficial to teeth and the dog is more likely to swallow larger chunks of greenie.

Where are the ingredients from , is it mostly chinese stuff assembled in kansas city? Since there is no info on source, do we assume chinese?
I really don’t know, but it doesn’t seem very cost effective to import ingredients from china, and then assemble because labor is so cheap in china.
Are greenies lowfat
I buy the ‘weight management’ greenies. My vet approved. This is what the label says on the ‘weight management’ bag: crude fat min 5.5%, crude fat max 7.0%. Personally, i do not know what that really means, but maybe it can help you. Give your vet office a call and ask them. Good luck to you.

Is this product really as good as advertised?
My dog is the one who could best answer that, but she can’t type. To be honest, i don’t know what they advertise so will just say that my dog and the one before her really liked them, and i find them to be a convenient treat. We use the teenie size for our beagle (about 25 pounds) to limit calories she gets.

Are these safe for my 3 month old pug puppy?
I would not feed dental chews until after 6 months of age because a puppy does not need dental chews until he has lost his puppy teeth and gained his adult teeth.
