This was a gift for my husband and he is over the top happy with my choice of iportable ice maker. He loves the ability to choose cube size and the speed in which it makes ice. He is currently awaiting surgery and going downstairs to the kitchen for ice is not easily done so i decided to buy this for our bedroom. this portable ice maker is the perfect size for compact spaces. Fits perfectly under my cabinets and makes ice relatively fast (7 minutes for the first batch). I appreciate the large and small size ice it produces. I didn’t realize i had to wait 24 hours after taking it out of the box to allow equipment to stabilize from transport so that delayed setup, but once that is done, the prep was easy.
