Hatchimals Pixies, Crystal Flyers Starlight Idol Magical Flying Pixie Toy with Lights, Kids Toys for Girls Ages 6 and up

Our daughter loves hatchimals and was absolutely blown away by the size and display of the pixie. She was beyond excited to play with it and it was well indeed worth the wait. It was an absolute delight playing with it and trying her best to keep it in the air by saving her hands below it. Such fun!

I was skeptical about how well this little lady would actually fly, but was very pleasantly surprised. 9, 6, and 4 year olds all loved it and were able to keep her in flight for long periods of time. This fairy can crash and crash and crash and keeps on going. Battery life is impressive. Fairy does love to eat hair if she gets to close, but nothing a hair tie or scissors can’t fix.

So fun and pretty but be careful of your hair when using this it will get caught in it sometimes if it lands on you ouch

My sister says it seems it has 2 gears and powerful once it takes off. My niecw loves it!

My 7 year old granddaughter loves her flying fairy. So do the older kids and adults in the household. Got it for her for christmas. Very entertaining. To the extent i may have to purchase a couple more so she can get a chance to play with one. Grown men were enjoying how it flys and were playing with it. Day 2 not broken and working quite well.

Bought 2 for christmas for my girls and i was happy to find that they each got different colored unicorn babies. They were a big hit!!!
It is a bit loud but a little clear tape over the speaker helps.
One wing stopped working after 2 days of gentle play. Item was replaced the next day.

Preschool daughter loves it. Cracking the eggs open (like real eggs) was exciting for her. The downside – this toy has extremely high volume. I cannot even believe a toy would be manufactured that is so loud. Much louder than any battery-operated toy we’ve encountered with two kids.

Santa brought my 5 year old this toy for christmas and she has played with it everyday since. This toy really impressed us for the value, it’s durable, it flys very efficiently and it’s too cute! 10 out or 10 definitely recommend.

I bought this doll, because of the low price, the novelty of the item, and out of curiosity to see, if the bad reviews were valid criticisms.

The doll works as expected, if you use her properly. As others have stated, never take her outside. She should only be used with adult supervision until the child has enough experience with her to fly her properly. I have only used her inside, and the first couple of times she kept flying straight up to the ceiling with no indication she would come down. After a couple more times, i realized she has to be launched on her platform to fly properly. Her crystal egg seems to be designed to calibrate her sensors, so she only flies properly when launched from it. Grabbing her legs while she’s flying is a little tricky, but a child should be able to do it easily after a while. She cannot hurt you with her wings, but to turn her off does require forcibly stopping her from spinning in order to switch her off.

Aside from that, the doll is quite fun to play with. If she is tilted significantly, she will fly toward a wall quickly, but so far she seems very durable, because she has not been damaged ever when hitting a wall. She does shut off, if she hits a wall hard, so if a child is having trouble catching her, then she should stop flying, if she bumps too many things, or at least when her battery dies.

Also, i would advise being careful with a child who has long hair. Others have stated the toy got caught in their hair, and while unlikely, i can certainly see how it’s possible. Holding her sideways she spins faster than one of those water bottles with a fan on top, so be mindful of that.

Great gift, but easily runs into things when flown inside. Better outside, though the wind will easily take it away. Very entertaining and can stay up for multiple minutes!

Gave this to my granddaughters and they loved them. They fly like advertised and are so adorable . So pretty when flying. They are very delicate though. Damage to the wings can happen if they fly into walls.

My almost 5 year old got this for xmas this year. I have to say, i had a lot of fun with it! With a balcony and cathedral ceilings it was fun to fly around. For smaller places i wouldn’t recommend it, i’d be afraid of it breaking things are hitting people. Probably better for kids that are a little older too, 5 is a little young i think to play with it properly. I really like it because ot reminded me of my flying fairy thing i had as a kid!

It seems to go up and hovers then eventually will come back down even with no one under it. Can definitely get tangled in hair, doesn’t have a long run time. Daughter wanted it for birthday and has played with it twice. Not a practical toy. The fast spinning fairy wings got her hand as well.
