HP Instant Ink $5 Prepaid Code – The Smart Ink and Toner Subscription Service with big savings passed on to you

I like that it was very easy to apply to my hp account; it instantly registered. This makes a great gift card as well.

I love that i receive a new ink cartridge in the mail when my printer is close to empty so i don’t have to think about it or freak out cuz i have something to print that is on a deadline and i have procrastinated to the very last minute and then i find that i am out of ink.

But i won’t use it. Bought my multi-purpose hp device mainly for a fair amount of scanning and a few copies, preferably in black and white when i can get away with it.

Sounds like a pretty good deal if you use color a lot for printing.

I passed on the deal but i looked at it and it seemed ok.

I really enjoy not having to go to buy ink cartridges in the middle of printing. Set your plan and youare done.

The only problem i have is when during this pandemic we are in i had to miss 1 payment ! I asked an agent and the agent told me i was fine i paid for the next month i missed nov and paid for december! When i paid for december a couple days went by i got an email for suspension due to no payment in nov !! I contacted an agent he said i didn’t have to pay for nov but i owe 12 i said how if i’ve only missed one and i got bank records to prove well we went back and forth till i contacted an agent on phone ! I did have to pay for november or my subscription would be canceled!! So they need to get there stuff together and tell people if you do miss you have to pay what you missed or no service!!

Free reminder n reasonable

You don’t need to purchase this prepaid code to enroll in the hp instant ink replacement ink program, something i didn’t know when i bought this. The $5 is in my hp account, and will be used to pay for additional pages in any month i go over my free page limit.
The hp instant ink program is great for light printer users like me, i get 15 free pages per month, and additional pages print at a cost of ten cents each. It doesn’t matter whether you’re printing a simple black and white page of text or a full color 8×10 picture, no more need to select “draft mode” or “print in black only” to save on the cost of replacing color cartridges.
Most months i don’t even print 15 pages, so i’m basically getting free ink through this program. I’ve already received the first set of replacement black and color cartridges for my printer, so i’ll never run out of ink.
I’m not sure if this program is a good value for anyone who prints a lot more pages per month, but it works for me.

Only reason for four stars is because it didn’t explain at purchase code does not come with printer . It comes in form of an email you must link and activate . I joined twice because at first i could not find code . Did not explain it comes in email . It read like it comes on back of purchased printer . I have been out of ink two weeks and says ink coming . Two weeks no ink yet. I used the small amount that comes with my all in one . I am confused because i feel i followed all instructions . This is my first printer . Not beginner friendly i guess

Sounds like a good deal: free ink for 6 mos., then reduced prices thereafter. Won’t really be able to really assess the deal until 7 or 8 months have passed.

The install and sign up took me over a half hour partly because i had prepaid for instant ink on amazon and i missed the prompt. I installed the printer on 2 computers, one using the smart app and one using control panel. You can tell i’m an older user by choosing control panel over the smart app so i won’t comment on ease of use with the app. They both worked. The instant ink sign up went well but you must read each page well before proceeding. Follow the instructions and there are no problems. Fortunately the back button works and there is help built into the app. You should be along side the printer to do this and have your credit info with you to sign up. It can be done without issue.

Difficult to install.

The tech support is great. And, it is user- friendly. It is cost effective, the convenience having the it automatically reordered when it’s running low is an added bonus.

Not sure how to use this feature.

Somehow, this product is hooked up to a different email and i have been unable to switch it over with hp.

Was glad to receive this $5 prepaid ink code when i bought a hp wireless printer for my sister-in-law. However, the process of setting up an online account with hp to activate the $5 prepaid code was a real pain and took over 30 minutes to complete.

I haven’t had the chance to use this service yet.
