Does this have a way to hang it on the wall?
Not really. It has magnets on the back so you could try hanging it using that. It also had a stand attached that can be pulled out, so maybe you could find a way to hang it using that? But no there isn’t an actual place designated for hanging on a wall.
How long will the batteries last on continuous run?
I’ve had mines over 2 months and they’re still running. The ones i have do not have back lighting which could be the reasons they are running still. I’ve never turned them off or removed batteries for conservation of the batteries.
Can i see the temp from over 10 feet away or is there a light switch i need to use?

At 9 feet away (as far as my tape measure easily reached) and in a reasonably well lit room i could read it – barely (20/20 vision) but in the dark, forget it. There’s no built in light. You’ll most likely want this at arms length or something you can casually look at while walking by. They not something you would be reading across the room or in less than a well lit area.

How long do the battery last
Batteries have lasted a month so far. Magnets on the back fell off.
What are the measurements of the hygrometer in inches?
The display shows the temperature and humidity level in the area you have the hygrometer. There are no inches displayed, you may be reading the size of the hygrometer.
Does the air indicator go on and off? I thought they would stay on to show if its ok, wet, or dry. It goes off and on randomly? Is mine defective?

When does it display “wet okay dry” on the screen?
Well, i know i’ve seen ‘dry’ when it’s reading under 47%. As for ‘wet’, i can’t say at what point it triggered. Only that a steamy bathroom after a shower got the ‘wet’ environment alert at well over 70%.
In the pics on amazon the display is bright white but the new ones i just got are very dark without back lighting?
Seems to me like they are readable with no problems. They don’t come with any sort of back lighting. I hope that help.
I put the hygrometer in the safe, and the reading with desiccant is the same as the reading without desiccant. Does the hygrometer not work?
Mine works and fluctuates as the room changes. I have four and they all work in various parts of my house.
Is this product good to use?
It gives a very good answer to the question, “how comfortable is it in the room and outside”. It does not mean the indicator is perfect, it is good enough.
How do you maintain the right humidity in the room?
My house is dry, very dry, 150 years old dry. I started out at 31 percent humidity, which is very dry. I put my kyvol on max output until i saw some improvement. It took 3 days to get to 33 percent. So i kept it on max until i got to 50 percent (took 10 days) which is perfect. I dialed back to one third output and monitored the rh every day. Working out just fine.

How to reset them they show 80 and its only 75 is there a way to get them to right temp ?
Pick a spot for the thermometer and don’t move it. The temp will gradually stabilize.

I have used this thermometer for 1 year and it works great. Because i have a dehumidifier. I need it to work to indicate whether i should turn on my dehumidifier. Especially in the south, i need to create a comfortable humidity for my children and pets. It works great with the dehumidifier.

It’s a little over 3 inches tall and a little less wide, so not very big. It has magnets for attaching to metal or the fold-out stand for putting on a flat surface.
How do you calibrate the humidity?
It should come calibrated. Do you mean how to calibrate what values it says are dry, comfortable, or wet? I’m not sure you can do that.
