What are our customers saying?
I looked at so many bottles and could not decide on one. I thought hydroflask was hyped for no reason so i avoided it for a long time. The reason i chose hydroflask is because i have tried cheap companies before and they all leave a metallic taste in the mouth so i wanted to go with a trusted brand. But the main reason is because the handle is comfy. If you want to hold a bottle around on a hot summer day, you want it to be comfortable and hydroflask’s handle is just that! I brought this with off-roading on a utv in az and it stayed cold. Almost got heat stroke twice on a hot track day and my water stayed colds me saved me. Went to the pool. The bottle got soooo hot on the outside but water was cold! I love this bottle and i have zero complaints.
If you live in a place like az, this works to keep your water cold on days where you desperately need it!
After many months of convincing, my sister finally got me to purchase a hydroflask. It’s literally the best water bottle brand out there! It stays cold for so long. Ice takes like 24+ hours to melt. My only criticism is that if you drop it really hard, you can dent it. But other than that i love my hydroflask, i have two now!
It’s used to hold your water. Wide grip because of its size. They straw cap i got for it sometimes leaks out of the little air hole. Make sure you have it leveled when you close it. It can leak and i usually drive an hour to 2 to work, so you don’t want to be running out on a hot drive. Other than that, it does its job.
Left this in my car during the summer in texas..the next day the water was still cold! I don’t think you can go wrong..my son now uses for football practice to ensure his water stays cold on the side line.
I went through several different less expensive brands. Hydro flasks cost a little more but they are worth it. I put 5-6 ice cubes with water at 7am, and by 5pm there’s still ice in the bottle. Highly recommend them.
I am a big fan of hydro. Like any other hydro, this bottle keeps my drinks cold for 12 some hours; haven’t tried hot water yet. When you buy it, expect a somewhat big bottle about 9 in by 6in (don’t quote me). I love the bottle mouth its wide enough to shove ice cube inside but drinking liquid with ice won’t be so pleasant.
I got the 32oz in seagrass with the flex straw and i’m sold. Absolutely gorgeous water bottle and i honestly didn’t expect the straw to be water proof, so that’s a nice surprise. Just big enough to fit in my large cupholder in my car and small enough to fit in my edc sling.
This is the next level of water bottles i really did not want to spend this much money on a water bottle the heat and humidity over here in california has been awful and working in a warehouse with no ac can be rough my hydro flask kept my ice water cold all day !!! Love❣
This product makes staying hydrated much easier. Keeps beverages cold for a long time. I suggest adding the flip top lid for easier drinking
According to the description there wouldn’t be a metallic taste, but i have noticed a metallic taste. This usually occurs when my water (no ice) has been in the bottle for hours on end. However, the appearance of the bottle is nice & you can tell it’s well made.
As far as the staying cold test here’s what i have to say:
-if i didn’t use ice, my drink would only stay fridge cold for about 5 or 6 hours max.
-i haven’t tried hot drinks.
-the hydroflask bottle seems to keep ice not melted for an extended period. I could easy say ice will not melt in a 24 hr. Period.
Overall, i think there are other brands out there that can perform just as well as hydroflask for the same price or cheaper (yeti?).
Decent product, expensive but it does keep your beverages hot or cold depending what your pleasure is. It comes with a cap but you have to remove the cap everything you want to drink… To get more money out of you they sell a separate cap with straws which i did and it’s worth not removing the cap every time i want a drink …, and of course you have to have the right cup holder to accommodate for the oversized bottle , so there is another expense so you can insert it in your regular vehicle cup holder. So after you spent 70 + dollars you really do have a very decent product. Other than cost i really like it
This is my second hydro flask. My original is a 32oz that is great for longer times away from home, but i wanted something easy for work & coffee on the go so i decided to get a smaller version. In the family we now have five. Never have i had any of them leak or develop condensation on the outside. These things are amazing & just work! They work even better if you pre-chill or heat the inside prior to adding your drink (use some ice water or heated water from the stove for a little while before loading your beverage of choice). Both of my hydro flasks seem lighter than my 18oz yeti which is nice when full but does raise some concerns about the amount of abuse it may be able to take if dropped though i have yet to drop one.
It loses a star because i have two complaints about hydro flasks.
1. The fully painted bottom may be prone to scratching and chipping without a boot but if you put a boot on it sticks to my backpack pockets and cup holders.
2. This is really just personal preference, but i am not a fan of the jumping person logo and really can’t stand it smack in the middle of the bottle. I prefer a clean look. Can’t really cover it up & keep it looking clean. Yeti, still having a logo on the bottle, has better logo placement, out of the way and a bottom that won’t chip (may scratch but won’t remove paint).
Overall the hydro flasks are great water bottles and i would recommend them to anyone. They seriously keep my coffee so hot i can only sip it for hours if i keep the lid on and it easily holds ice overnight.
64 oz is a great size to get to keep yourself hydrated all day! My ice cubes don’t melt; even after 24 hours! Each sip will be refreshing each time. However, i did take one star off because the bottle came with the logo scratched off, looking almost used.
Ice melts within the hour. Drinks don’t stay cold long.
It works but seem a little lighter than they were in the past it holds ice for like 18 hrs.
32oz is slightly too fat for most cupholders. Outside of that, it’s my preferred size. The 20oz is a handy size, but doesn’t last long enough for a hydroholic such as myself. Also, the 2.0 flip nozzle is a drippy mess. The 1.0 is better, but has the finger hole off the side of it instead of the folding handle.
Mine came dented. Also maybe older model since they did not have this model or color from hydroflask directly.
I love it but its no secret that it is overpriced.
It’s not easy to clean because the opening is small. And i do have the wide mouth bottle. I have to use a wooden handle spoon with a dish rag to clean the inside. The bottle is too big around to hold comfortably.
