Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Straw Lid

I previously had a takeya 40oz. The takeya was a good price, and kept water cold for hours like it claimed. However, the takeya bottle would not fit into any cupholder and that alone caused me to leave it behind more often. This hydroflask was two upgrades in one for me. I love that i can finally easily take the bottle with me and use the cupholders in any car i’ve used so far. The second upgrade was having a bottle with a flip top straw. I prefer this now on any water bottle i look at as i no longer have to invert the bottle to drink which is a plus working near electronics.

The tl;dr
-the 24oz bottle fits any cupholders i’ve used
-the straw lid is now my preferred bottle top (no inverting near electronics)
-happy purchase no issues with build quality (bought one for the wife and a smaller one for the kid)

if you don’t like to refill your water bottle throughout the day you may not like the 24oz size but a larger size will not fit in cupholders (if that matters to you).

I work in a school and i have to walk up and down and i always have to have my water bottle with me. And this hydro flask has kept the ice for more than 8 hours and i’m adding more water to it because with the heat it makes me stay hydrated. I work 8 hours and spend 6 or 7 hours in the sun so this bottle is perfect. It is the 3 that i buy, the others are of different sizes, this one is 32 oz. Very happy with the purchase.

Absolutely love and totally addicted to my hydroflask….perhaps mentally, but i feel like i really do drink more water because i am so in love with my hydroflask! The colors are beautiful, the quality is impeccable and they stand behind their product if ever you should have a problem! Definitely worth the money!

I love my new 40-ounce hydro flask mug. It keeps my ice water cold all day long while i use it as my ‘around the house’ mug. As you see in my photo, i hold it securely in my whole hand with my pointer finger through the carrying loop. This gives me a better grip and stability with my stubby, arthritic fingers. I highly recommend this mug!

This hydroflask has saved me from the heat, especially when i have to work. Some of my clients homes don’t have a/c, but my hydroflask keeps my water really cold. It’s saved me especially when i start to feel dizzy from the heat, i just drink my water and i’m set. I keep my hydroflask with me the entire day and not once does my water feel warm. It’s really worth the money, since it keeps the water cold all day long while i’m out working. I got the biggest size and i was worried it may be too heavy to carry around, but i got used to it after the first few days. The handle makes it easy to carry around.

I love my new hydroflask 24 oz bottle. I use it several times a week while exercising and the straw lid makes it very convenient to stay hydrated while exercising on both my treadmill and my recumbent bike.

I battled with myself for months when it was finally time to replace my hydro flask i’ve had for years. I kept thinking i couldn’t justify the cost but after having this new one that isn’t all dented up and my water staying colder than i ever remember it being i can say it’s for sure worth it. I forgot what a working hydro flask was like i guess lol

My family loves ice water and cold water period. After trying many different water bottles and having the ice melt and the bottles sweating like crazy with warm water after a few hrs, we broke down and my daughter bought the first hydro flask.

After a full day and into the evening she still had ice water. The ice melted half way but the water was still very cold and the bottle never sweat. We also got a 2nd straw.

This is worth every penny.

I like the sip straw top, especially for a quick drink while exercising. Once it is in the down position you can lay the bottle on its side–no dripping. Unfortunately, it does not fit in my car cup holder. Cleaning it is easy as long as you carefully rinse the attached straw. I like the little loop carry handle–easy to grab and sip.

Ordered for my teenage granddaughter as she uses this for taking to school. It fits in her backpack and she uses it every. Holds a lot of liquids keeping them cold or hot.

The 24 oz wide mouth hydro flask is very easy to hold for someone with smaller hands. The lid must be very tightly screwed on or you will have some water leaking from the area were the lid meets the bottle. This might be hard for some people who have weak hands to completely tighten the lid. I do find it hard to twist the top open to add water and then tighten it again.

I find it easy to drink from although opening the straw/mouth piece is hard because it is very tight. The way it is designed is to keep you from having to touch the area were your mouth goes. (later i did purchase a different size hydro flask and that straw is very loose and therefore easy to pull it open)

I love this, but it is hard to hold due to the size. It also does not fit in my car cup holder. It keeps things very cold for a long time and no leaks so far.

I had to purchase a extension for the cup holder so that it can fit. It does not fit two of those holders which is really lame. On top of the over priced price tag, needed to buy something else to be able to have it inside the car. My wife bottle or my bottle will just behave to be laying around somewhere. They should of make the bottle longer so that it would be a little thinner and be 40oz. Bottle is a little heavy and not very comfortable to carry around when it is full. It does not leak when it’s closed. Water suction is great also.

Literally dropped once from my hand in gravel and it destroyed the cup so…

I do love my hydroflask bottle. With one caveat, the lid seal started to leak after only one year of use. I can stop it if i really wrench the lid down hard, but i feel like that shouldn’t be necessary to get a watertight seal on a water bottle…
Otherwise, works great, love the color and super convenient and easy to use!

Best water bottle ever. Filled with ice and water, and the ice remained solid the next day. For the price, if the carrie handle and boot came with it, it would be even better. Four stars.

The bottle is fine and does the job. However, if you’re looking for a higher quality bottle i would go with one from brümate; they have similar prices but their quality is just unmatchable.

– it fits great in cup holder in the car
– water stays cold most of the day
– the hook can go on a backpack but you must have the right carabiner for it to work.
– durable. I dropped it a few times and still no dents or chips.
– the color in real life is the exact color displayed on screen

I love hydro flask and the bottles i have purchased are good . This review is about this particular bottle . The bottle was defective and didn’t stay cold 2 hours . Hydro flask has a lifetime warranty and when i contact them they replaced the bottle no question.
