I got these to use with my day planner. The packaging is nice. Upon looking at the product i was afraid that they might bleed through the paper but it did not. It’s nice having color-coded themes in the planner. I’ll never go back to using single ink pen.

These pens are amazing….beautifully packaged….slick and easy to use. Love them. (ps this is the first pen i ever purchased that came with a ‘warranty’ – even expensive ones.

I love these pens! They come in a variety of vibrant colors and don’t bleed through paper. They fit perfectly in your grasp and are great for journaling and taking notes. Would highly recommend !

I’m a stationery junkie, and these are a delight! The pens are packaged in a clear plastic sleeve/ envelope… Colours are rich, pens are attractive and write well.

The colors are nice and bright. They may bleed through the paper but i believe it depends on the thickness of the paper. They have a fine point so it’s good for detailing and underlining. Happy with them so far.

I bought these a very long time ago, used the twice and loved them, i am started to used them again and still work like new, they have a very fine tip which makes writing a snap. A lot of different colors. I haven’t had any issues. Would definitely buy again when i need new ones

The pens itself are very thin which i don’t mind. I carry the whole pens from office to home and i absolutely love them!!

They write great, they don’t bleed through the paper, the colors are pretty and there’s many colors to choose from.

I needed a dark orange pen because my printer cut off part of a letter. The burnt sienna worked perfectly and i was able to complete the b on my trifold brochure. Huge savings because i didn’t have to buy additional paper

Not a professional artist or anything like that, and coloring isn’t some hard core hobby of mine, but i bought these pens/markers on a whim, then really wasn’t sure what to do with them.

You can write with them fine (which was my originally intent), but i didn’t really like how they write, the pens did not feel fine enough for me. I was just gonna toss them to the back of my closet with the other amazon items i’m too lazy to return, but i came across an amazon coloring book that i also hadn’t opened. Match made in heaven.

These colors are absolutely gorgeous, i have piss poor fine motor control and repetitive stress injury in my hands can sometimes make holding pens painful, if i do it too long. But the pens were very easy to manipulate and color with, and the colors are super visually appealing that once i stated coloring, i used them for hours.

I am going to buy another pack, but this time i am going to get the bigger pack. My only complaint is some colors seemed to run out of ink fairly quickly. Maybe the pens weren’t meant to color full pages, but i ink running out halfway through a project was disappointing. Some pens also would split at the tip, which made it impossible to use the pen. The lighter pastel colors didn’t really show up that well, especially when juxtaposed with the brighter ones. All in all, its a great value buy.

This product is very nice. The pen is .38 very tiny. Only problem is it is more like a marker and bleeds through the journal paper. Not the best for my student’s journals, but nice for other card stock projects.

Colors are beautiful they are thin and light for everyone to use. 3 of my colors didn’t work but other than that they are light and it’s smooth on paper. I would get this again

Bought these for journaling. They’re quite skinny pens. I’m a heavy handed person so i’ll update my review if for some reason they don’t hold up. Ink is great. I find the lighter colors kind of useless but still i think the overall price was okay for what i got.

Recently i’ve been needing a large variety of colors for my notes. I really wanted to get the 24 count sharpie art pen set, but it’s thirty dollars, and as a broke college student i decided to shop around for a cheaper option. I am a huge pen snob. I love thin lines and bold colors with minimal bleed. I was skeptical i would find anything even close to sharpie pens, but i decided to give these a shot. Im so glad i did!

Tldr review:
these pens are amazing! The colors are gorgeous and affordable to any college student! I’ve also used them for writing cards and labels in my craft area. I highly recommend these to anyone!

first impressions:
-thin, sleek barrels and no pen-cap clip make these very compact!
-these aren’t labeled on the middle of the barrel! This is a huge initial let down. When i put these in my pen pouch, i can’t see the caps or ends of the pens. I resorted to writing on the barrel with a fine point sharpie marker, but i have to re-write the label every so often because it fades.
-these definitely feel like marker tips. I can feel the slight scratch of the pen tip on the paper like markers usually feel. It’s not a huge deal but definitely noticeable. Not something i feel when writing with sharpie pens.

I made some direct comparisons to the sharpie pens. I borrowed my friends smaller sharpie pen set and tried to find the closest matching color in this ibayam set.

Color test
the ibayam pens colors i think are better than their sharpie counter part. Sharpie hot pink does not look pink, more like a light purple. Ibayam set magenta looks more like pink. Ibayam violet is also better. Sharpie purple is far too dark and easily looks like black. Not good for color coding notes. Ibayam didn’t have a sharpie coral equivalent, but the coral is basically light orange. Not a big deal.

Writing test
with the ibayam i couldn’t get as thin lines as with sharpie. I can legibly write much smaller with the sharpie pens, which matters when you’re trying to fit as much information in a small space, such as index cards.

Bleed test
on any type of paper, if you pause with your pen tip down as you think, or if you make bullet points, ibayam will definitely bleed to the other side of your paper. I pause as i write, so i have to be annoyingly careful as i use the ibayam. I didn’t have that issue with the sharpie.
On printer paper, ibayam had a noticeable bleed to the other side. Sharpie definitely performed better. If you are coloring in anything, you can very easily over color and have it go straight through to the other side. Sharpie is more forgiving, you have to stroke over the same area many more times to get it to bleed.
On lined paper, they both looked exactly the same. I don’t draw on my lined paper so i didn’t test multiple strokes in the same area, but when i underlined terms, they looked exactly the same.

White out test
this is honestly what made me stick to these ibayam pens. I really like to make my notes pretty, so i constantly use white out. But sharpie does not dry fast enough on white out! Its very aggravating! But ibayam does! I just don’t have time to wait around for sharpie to dry, i need to keep studying! With ibayam, i just blowed on the ink twice and wasn’t able to smear it off with my finger tip! Sharpie still smeared even after i blew on it twice.

Overall, i love the ibayam pen set. I use them constantly. If you’re strapped for money, these are definitely a wonderful option. I’m keeping the 24ct sharpie art pen set in my wishlist if anyone wants to gift it to me, but i’m perfectly happy with my ibayam pens!

Some are way too light and can barely be seen but they are ok. I like the fine tip aspect.

Great color i thought it was going to be like a ball pen tip.

I did not read the full description and thought they were colored gel ink pens. They are colored felt tip pens, more like a marker so the color bleeds.

I use these for coloring. Adult books need fine tip. Works great
