This is a great little ice maker. Takes less then 10 minutes to make a regular glass of fresh ice. We bag up some when the bin is full in a gallon size freezer bag (about 1/2 full) each when we know we will be needing a lot at once. 2 size of cubes.
Kids love it.
One caution is sides has to sit out aby itself because the blowers are on sides so it can’t be tucked in with other counter top gadgets when in use. Easy to clean too.
Well worth the money.

I bought this to use at work. It works great, making plenty of ice for my coworkers and i (about 10 of us). It doesn’t take up much counter space and operation is very quiet. Simple to use, just fill with water; the indicator lights tell you when it’s time to add more. Great purchase!

We purchased one of these for our rv and use it constantly. Our son wanted one for his rv and we surprised him with this one. He uses it every day and has thanked us for it. It dumps a load of ice about every 7 minutes. After several loads we dump the ice in a ziplock and store in the fridge’s freezer. This portable ice maker will not keep ice frozen. It would have to be a much larger unit and would not be portable if it could do that. This ice maker has been one of the best purchases for our rvs, and has become invaluable during hot, humid southwest summers. We and our son are extremely happy with this purchase.

This is the second portable ice maker we tried, the first was loud enough i could hear it all over our 1st floor living area. I only know this one is running is when the ice drops. We use it in our camper and then in our home when we get back each weekend. Im not a fan of the stainless steel look, i preferred the white finish but could see paying $20+ more just for that. I’ll be buying another at the holidays for my mil’s gift.

I like this ice maker because it’s easy to use and you have ice within 8-9 mins. You pour in the water (i recommend using purified water) and close the lid then you have ice. The noise is very minimal i never hear it running until it’s dumping the ice into the basket. Would highly recommend

This product is wonderful. I bought one for my classroom and love it so much i bought one for home. The ice is perfect size, it is quick, no nasty aftertaste. Worth every cent.

There’s really nothing to dislike about it. It’s super easy to set up and use. And it doesn’t take very long to get ice. I love it!

We work outside and carry a cooler in the truck. Buying ice 1-2 times a day gets expensive. This unit will pay for itself within a month. I chose igloo because of the brand. I read the reviews and want to address the negative ones. The noise is comparable to a humidifier. It is using a motor to freeze ice after all. This is considered a portable unit, so yes you do have to add water a few times a day if you want it to make ice 24/7. And you have to dump the ice into a separate container and store it in a separate freezer. You will need to remove the ice at least 2-3 times per reservoir fill (reservoir holds 64oz). To keep it clean use filtered water. It makes faster if the water is cold. I use water out of my fridge door, i choose to fill a separate bottle and store it in the fridge for faster turn around. I dump the made ice into my fridge ice maker bucket. This unit plus the ice made from the fridge let’s me fill up a plastic grocery bag, i then place it in the deep freezer and use it to fill the cooler everyday. This helps the fridge keep up without robbing what’s needed in the household.

I like the convenience of the maker but it is very loud & i turn off during the night cuz it would wake me up.

Purchased this when it came on sale. Our icemaker in our freezer quit working so this was a relatively cheap alternative. So far we are loving it. You do have to empty frequently into your freezer otherwise they start to melt (keep in mind this is not a freezer for storing ice). If they do start to melt chances are they will stick together once inside your freezer. I just stay on top of making ice for a few hours after i get home from work.

I bought one in octobor 2020, year later it quit, igloo warranty replaced, and now another year sept 2022, this one quite. Hope warranty comes through again ..

Get the ice immediately into the freezer after it drops down or it will melt enough to stick together. Happy with purchase!

El producto es bueno el ruido que genera no es tan perturban te solo k el tiempo que le toma en hacer los hielos si es un poco lento y la duración de los mismos es poca los termina derritiendo si no se usan y tiene k estar haciendo mas.

Auto shut off stops working and over fills and get loud gettin stuck with no room to move. Another thing, it will shut down after it full and it all melts!

This machine does a terrific job of making ice. I liked this machine so much that i ordered another one as a gift. It does make a loud noise when it dumps the ice, but i quickly got use to the noise. It is especially helpful to supply extra ice for different occasions!

I loved my product but it has already stopped working and i can’t find replacement parts

My 20-year-old fridge/freezer is showing some problems – the automatic ice maker isn’t reliable. Summertime calls for iced drinks, and this really can crank out pounds of ice pretty quickly. Easy to add water. Ice shaped to fit inside water bottles – 8 “bullets” in 6 minutes. Compartment fills in about an hour…and the machine turns off. For around $100 – i have a work around to my ice maker’s unreliability…

After reading other reviews: folks, this makes ice but it doesn’t keep it cold. Transfer ice to your freezer, or an ice bucket. When the machine is off, the ice will melt back into the water reservoir for the next time you turn it on

Good ice maker (for the price) & does what it’s supposed to! Bought one for myself & one for my grandmother-in-law for her b-day! Only issue would be that the “full ice” censor doesn’t always work… Might work 50% of the time… The other 50% of time i have to try & remove all the ice that went back into where machine drops ice once made & try to get them off of the coils while it’s trying to make another batch of ice. (because it overflows with ice & continues making ice) other then tht it’s very quiet & works great! The “taste” as some have complained about has nothing to do with manufacturer issues, it has to do with what water you put in reservoir & if you followed the directions in cleaning etc. If you use tap water w a high chlorine content, it’s gunna taste like chlorinated tap water…. If you use spring water, it’ll taste like spring water etc. Etc. Lol that’s not rocket science people.
