Perfect dock for the steam deck. Well built and sturdy, your deck should not slide around with the rubber grips. You do need to use and connect your steam deck power cable to it as it does not come with one. Connections work great with extra usb ports for controllers. I got this mainly for the wired connection for downloads or games that need fast wired speed. I like that i can connect to tv. It makes it work just like the nintendo switch so you can grab and go with it. Power attachment from the base is perfect length to connect to top of steam deck. Delivery was fast and i liked the minimum packaging so it fits in my mailbox.

As far as i can tell, this usb-c dock was designed for tablets or phones but just happens to work great with the steam deck so that’s how they are marketing it. Aluminum housing is well made. I had no issues with the usb-3 type a ports, hdmi, or passthrough charging. I did not try the ethernet but don’t really plan to use it. If it has a weak point, i think it will be the usb-c cable that dangles out of it. It’s pretty stiff and probably won’t take a lot of abuse. It would have been better to put a usb-c jack on the dock and include a short usb cable.

As you know, the official steam deck dock is delayed indefinitely with no release date in sight. There are many options out there for connecting the wonderful device to a tv or monitor, and this is the most highly recommended of them all. Up to 1000mbps ethernet connection, 3 usb slots and an hdmi out, plus full 100w charging (the deck only needs 45) will fulfill your charging and connecting needs as good as anything ‘official’ could. Yes, you can plug in a keyboard, mouse, usb flash drive, controllers, you name it.
This dock is so good it may be your preferred dock when the official one ever releases.
Note: if this review shows the product as returned, it’s because i got two. At the time they were hard to get and i bought one from the manufacturer, which took forever to arrive, so i ordered a second one when it came available at amazon. I tried to cancel but twas too late. I’m using the one i ordered direct at the moment, and shouldn’t need another, so i might return the amazon one for someone else to enjoy.

I got the jsaux dock to use with my steam deck. It is sturdy, looks cool, is well balanced, and holds the deck snugly. The part that holds the deck upright is padded to protect the deck. Plug that goes from the dock into the top of the deck for charging is at a 90% angle, so the input doesn’t get stressed – nice touch. I haven’t tried the hdmi output or the usb ports yet, but no reason to think they won’t work as advertised. Really glad i got this.

Does exactly what is says. I purchased a portable 15in monitor for the steam deck, hooked it up and instantly it worked (well a few seconds) i have it on my gaming pc desk with a usb switch to bounce kbm from deck to pc.

It does what it’s supposed to. Please with the purchase so far. The original estimate was the delivery would take a week, it ended up only taking 3 days.

Great dock for every device i’ve thrown at it, but fyi the steam deck with jsaux kickstand case will not fit into this dock. Just keep that in mind.

I was disappointed that valve delayed the release of the official dock so i did what everyone should do when purchasing electronics online. I researched reddit and google. This dock received the highest praise for the stand/dock with ethernet. Jsaux did wise to make the shell metal as that is a big selling point for me. The rubber grips hold the deck in place well. Overall build quality is very good. My steam deck has been my default desktop since insertion about five days ago. This should be at the top of your list for accessories.

The steam deck is pretty nice on its own. This takes it to another level.

The latest model includes a m2 expansion port which would be great to install games beyond the deck’s original storage. Still this budget version is a bang for your buck!

I was abit crushed when i found out the steam docking station was was going to be delayed. For now, this alternative will do what i needed. I paired it will a steelseries arctic 7+ . I’ve been fotunate not to have any connection issues whatsoever. It would have been nice for the dock to include a charger; but the adapter from the deck plugs in and works nicley. I have not yet plugged my deck into my 4k monitor; but that is not part of my expections right now.
This item fits the bill for now.

Not sure if it is caused by the dock or the sd itself, but the audio (and very rarely even the video) cuts out every now and again. Not frequently enough to be a big problem, but very annoying. Even got it replaced with a new one, and the new one does it too.

The main reason i bought this dock is that it has plenty of prots. The workmanship of the dock is average. It is very difficult to insert the ucb3.0 ports for the first time. It needs to be used a few times before it can be insert easily.

Overall i was please with this unit. It was easy to put into place and works well as a dock. I saw no issues with either the hdmi out to my tv or the ethernet connection. The only thing keeping this review from 5 stars is the lack of a power cable included. While it was not specified in the description so i took a chance. I ordered a power cable but think for the cost of the unit one should be included.

I have a few of these docks. Each progressive one i’ve gotten has an extra feature better than the last. I like this dock’s metal material it’s made from; it feels like quality. It has all the ports that i need to use on a desktop setup and works as expected. However, this dock does fit well with a case on it, which is bewildering because this company makes a pretty good case for the steam deck. You would think they take that accessory in consideration. With a little effort you can make it fit with case on there, but the steam deck will almost sit vertically with a bad viewing angle. My previous dock from another company fit the steam deck nicely with a case (on a good viewing angle), but that dock was missing an ethernet port.
