Needs a real closure before u make so buy something before u crack this open n start …something better than tie it on your kids wrist with a knot?!? Ummm no no i will not but love everything else this offers great for adults n kids of all ages! My son likes to make gifts for his auntie every time he sees her (a few times a month usually) n these r the type of thing that make a great gifting idea for kids to make and give to loved ones instead of gifting them something bought or something that they made with a coloring book and hate!!! Easily made with a little help from someone older like a older sibling or neighbor to make for someone at home!!! There’s lots of beads included to make lots of different designs. I personally love how many letter beads this kit includes and the mix of letters is great!( not all consonants or odd letters) there has always been some serious abc customizations on every bracelet made with our kits, so i bought 5 for gifting to kids classmates and 2 for my kids no complaits have been made about the kit. Although i have seen a lot of new jewelry shown off by my kids and their friends and families now. Kids have 1st names, last names, their initials,or bff’s initials, i saw acronyms, nicknames, funny words from initials are just a few i remember. I rem the bff jewelry from the 90s a necklace built for 2 and some girls had to wear 5 of them to keep their friends from a mutiny and they were junk,broke easy,tarnished,or turned skin green…they were the envy of no one trust me, but these can be made into macrame style bracelets that have 1 word on a few bracelets and they make a complete sentence when they’re together as a set or just a way to rem funny inside jokes between friends my only complaint is that these only come with elastic string for the bracelets and no closure it just says to tie them in a knot on ur wrist and the necklace clasp looks like dress up jewelry for a toddler. I honestly think necklaces should be for older tween and teenagers not small kids ever and no one should ever be instructed to secure or close and attach anything to themselves with an ‘adjustable’ knot? Not anything they value or want to keep obviously and what about getting caught or tangled on anything so much for physical safety too. But that’s just my personal opinion… (besides not having a clasp or closure which u can buy for a less than $5 anywhere) this is 100% recommended fun for anyone in every way and admit it …who can resist a handmade bracelet made just for u?or made along with u?

My daughter made many many bracelets with this bracelet making kit. Came with enough beads and string to do multiple bracelets. Worth the money, and super easy to use. Different variety bracelets beads. Product worth it for kids.

Unless you have the perfectly organized child, these will end up all over the floor. That being said makes for great paybacks for grandma… Hehehehe. (wasn’t my intention, but bonus). Still a great little gift for creative kids.

I have a 9, 7 and 5 year old. They struggled getting the super tiny beads onto the string. I had to assist them bc of the fraying string. Still, it’s always nice to have a family activity that isn’t screen time. They made several bracelets and necklaces.

My kids love this. I would definitely recommend it for a child over nine years of age. The holes in each bead are very small and it takes a lot of patience to thread the string into each bead. Loved the variety of beads, charms and different techniques to braid the strings.

Doesn’t come with any storage. I had to buys something to store them in.

Cutest beads! They are just super tiny & hard for little hands to handle. Bought these for my classroom of 6 year olds, and they had a hard time handling the beads and getting they on the string.

Really nice set for kids crafts. The only issue i had was the string included. There are two thicknesses. The thicker of the two for unravels easily. We tried using water, tape, and glue to keep the ends tight to put the beads/charms on after the first few. I guess we could’ve used a needle but we didn’t want the kids using them. I’d get aftermarket string or glue the tips prior to crafting. For the price and entry leveling kids crafting, this is a good set. Be aware, not all charms fit the string. There are two different diameters. The letter variety is really bad for some designs too. Hardly any vowels on the large letter beads.

Very hard to get the cover off the beads box without them flying everywhere. We put a towel under the box and emptied out the beads onto it to keep them from rolling away, then sorted into bowls. Seven year old granddaughter made 2 keychain, 4 bracelets, and 4 necklaces and still plenty of beautiful beads leftover. The smallest beads only fit on the elastic string. Hours of creative fun!

Cute kit, however you’ll need to set aside 30 minutes and surgical tools to open this package! Each section is glued shut which you won’t realize until you attempt to pull the clear plastic lid off. Expect to have beads everywhere if you aren’t extremely careful. Also, the instruction book is clearly written for teenagers and adults, not young kids.

I purchased this as a gift for a starter bead/bracelet set. I added on a case for easier use for keeping the beads secure and separate. The gift was a hit and i think this is now my go gift for now
