Got this for my 5 yrs old birthday. As a parent i wanted to try something that wasn’t slim or playdough… This is a pretty decent mixture of the two. The sand color does stain hands (i can’t confirm clothing or fabrics) but does wash off easy. They are supposed to smell like the vanilla/chocolate/strawberry which they do but they don’t smell good. It’s really easy to vacuum up, not so easy to try and pick up small pieces (it is sand but stays in clumps) so i let the kids play, pick up what i can and sweep the rest up. It’s fun for the kids, 5 years old may be a little to young because they are still pretty messy, but i’d recommend it for something new and different fun.

Is a great purchase with an even better price. Kids have played and played with it. At the time of the sale it was even cheaper than walmart!!

This is a cute sensory play toy for my kids and it was inexpensive. Will be buying again for them.

Value for money! I wanted to have this in my therapy office specially for my younger clients. My clients are in love with the kinetic sand, works great for relaxation and to have a calming effect.
And my cat loves it!

Great sensory play. Kids loved it and easier to clean than play dough. A bit messy but not bad.

This is a fantastic sensory play toy for all ages! I have a 1.5 year old (supervised), 5 year old, 7 year old and an 11 year old who all played with this set (and some additional kinetic sand i bought). We all ended up playing with it for hours a day for the first week and they are still excited to play with it every time i get it out! I love that it doesn’t fry up like play doh and it literally smells amazing in this set. The kids had so much fun playing with the different tools it came with and making ice cream for each other. Genuinely pleased about this purchase as it was pretty inexpensive for what you get 🙂

Kinetic sand is a great sensory toy and this idea of the ice cream kinetic sand is amazing. My child loves it and actually plays with it for a long time. It also smells amazing (strawberry, vanilla and chocolate) and the serving tools that come with it are very cleverly made. I was watching the way my child was playing with this set and was very pleased with the different ways she was able to practice skills, learn how to play, be creative, etc.

But the sand in this kit falls apart more than the other sets i’ve bought (same brand just different sets). The sand in the other sets tend to stick together better making it less messy. Seeing this is an ice cream set, one would think that they would want the sand to stick together better so that it doesn’t fall everywhere when the child scoops it up and puts it in the cone/cup. The other thing is that the sand comes in plastic bags that are not reusable so i had to go find separate containers for each one to store it in. It would have been nice if they provided containers for the 3 sand colors.

But overall, very pleased with the purchase, you just have to be ready to vacuum afterwards.

I bought this as one of the presents for my 3 year old’s birthday. I wasn’t sure what kinetic sand would feel like but was told it wasn’t as messy as regular sand. Well, it’s not not messy. But my toddler loved the texture of it and pretending to serve her ice cream.

It kept her busy for a full hour but the clean up was real. And the colors blend together like playdoh after a while.

In general kinetic sand is not a mess free game, so we had no expectations of that.
My daughters were really excited when they saw the set and enjoyed making ice cream with the various tools. It is important to note that all the colors get mixed in a second so it is only pretty in the first few minutes. It didn’t bother them though and they continued playing for hours. The smell is nice.

My 6 year old granddaughter has had a blast with this. She loves it. Her parents hate it because it’s messy and gets everywhere. I love paybacks!

My 3yo loves kinetic sand & plying “ice cream” & figured this would be perfect, which it was! Like all kinetic sand, it is a bit messy, but that’s expected. Love all the details they added as far as toppings, cups, spoons, scooper etc. & the scent! So realistic! It is a bit much for me however, but daughter loves it.

The scents are awful but the quality of the product is great! My daughter loved playing with it until she couldn’t take the smell anymore.

Product not yet used as was purchased for a christmas gift!! Looks fun!!
