I bought 8 of this can opener to give as gifts last xmas, one for me and one was for the cabin. The one i kept is wonderful and works every time. I bought a blue one for my cabin and it never worked but i didn’t return it because i brought it to the cabin 5 months later. I did buy a black one in july which worked great for until a week ago. The return window was over in august, i thought i had 90 days. Anyway i just bought yet another one (orange) but haven’t tried it yet. I guess i never learned any lesson from above…i just know that when it works, it is a handy tool!

If you hate to open cans while cooking like my wife, get one of these! They are great and easy to use. They cut the side of the can, not the top of the lid. The one thing you need to watch out for is stop it once it’s done cutting the full circumference of the can, continued running could possibly leave trash and very small pieces of metal in the can which all can openers can do so not a fault of it, just making everyone aware. Get one, you won’t be sorry.

I had the perfect can opener that i bought when i moved into my first apartment like 8 years ago. It lasted me up until like 9 months ago, literally just crumbled one day. Over the years the brand was rubbed and washed off so i had no idea where i bought it. Naturally i run to target and buy another, doesn’t work, return it and buy another one. Nope. So i go to home goods…and that one breaks first try. Oddly enough the cashier that let me refund this since she remembers me says i should try kitchen mama. As she bought one for her mom and it is a god-send. Works on every size can there is. And so glad she did.

Easy as popping it on there, lining up the razor and pressing the button.

This can opener is so great i can put it on and walk away to do something and it opens the can all by itself. The can is never sharp, easy to remove, and always so simple! The only thing is that you might want to store it somewhere where there are not a lot of items because it turns on all the time in my drawer with serving spoons lol!

Great job opening a can. I use it to open cans of del monte cut green beans. Once it opened the can it would not remove it. I could not get the top off. So i got a pair of small needle nose pliers and used them to pull the lid off. That proved the lid had been cut, but it took definite force to remove the lid because the beans were vacuum packed.

I had a little problem with my opener which was due to user error and kitchen mama replaced the item with no hassle and quickly. The opener is slightly temperamental- the can has to be locked in well for the best results- but if used right it is easy peasy . Buy it – if you have any problems the company will take care of it ! Hubby’s line cook tool, for over 3 yrs. Until other employees didn’t ask how to use it, then broke it.

I am old and had a black and decker under the cabinet one in the 90s. Well they are over 200.00 now, nope. So i thought i would try this and it works!! Put it on let it do its thing and then stick it back in the drawer. And i don’t have to leave it out and plugged in

This thing is just as cool as it seems when you first discover and read about it. In fact, maybe better.

I really like how it opens my cans because i now tend to just press the lid back on and throw the can (of beans, for example) back in the fridge like that, without using tupperware in that situation like i used to. As a single person who lives in my house alone, works from home, and cooks practically every meal i eat, this was something i didn’t even think about when i bought this. And, perhaps tupperware would keep air out of the unused food better than just pressing the lid back on the can, but life’s too short to spend time using unnecessary tupperware, too.

This is an amazing product. Before this i bought like 4 can openers,m. Now i don’t have to use my strength and waste time trying to figure out how it works.
It is easy to use, and remove. You don’t get your hands dirty (while opening a tuna can for example)

I love this can opener. Not only is it very easy to use, it isn’t just for right handed folks. It works the same for everyone. I have given some as gifts and they have been embraced by everyone who received them.

The only complaint i have about this can opener is that on extremely rare occasions i have come across cans that it will not open. Then i have to drag out the old, clucky, noisy plug in can opener. It makes me glad to only use the old one so rarely.

I just bought my third copy. I really only need one, but after less than a year it dies (and yes, i did change the batteries). But my wife has arthritis in her hands and needs to use one of these. The old style electric is also hard for her to use. I will say that when it is working properly, it is a blessing to use.

I’ll keep replacing them as needed, but i’m not all that happy about it.

So for the first few months it worked perfect. I bought it last year for a christmas present to myself. It’s october first now, and the only way it works is by going over the can twice and by then the edges are really sharp. I want it to work, but i don’t want to spend 30 more dollars on another can opener.

Having read past reviews, i was intimidated upon using it the first time, but got over that quickly. Just read the directions. It was easy to operate. However, being one who loves to criticize, i have to find a flaw. Sometimes, while rummaging through the drawer where it lives, it will turn on by itself. That has cost me several minutes of wondering what and where that sound is. Otherwise, it’s a good tool, especially for those who have weak hands. Go for it!

This is easy to use and the lid comes off cleanly with no sharp edges. It does not work on the very small cans of tomato paste, but otherwise it is very efficient and easy to use. Especially nice for people with arthritic hands.

It makes opening can 1000 time easier. Unfortunately i had to take away one star because it’s terrible for opening cans of tuna lol, it’s impossible to drain the tuna water out when using this because it opens the outer can… Can’t press the water out but works great for everything else!

I bought this because my 90-year-old mother was having difficulty using the traditional handheld can opener. She loves this device! Only wish it moved at a faster pace (my wish), but mom is happy with it. It gives her her independence back in that she doesn’t have to ask others to help. She’s empowered. That’s all that matters.

Great idea, don’t need to struggle with a manual opener. The only thing i don’t like is it takes too long, but for the painlessness in my hands and the convenience, i will be patient!

This works exactly as it says. Very easy to use, clean and convenient to store. Love that i can toss in the drawer with all cooking utensils.
