This humidifier is a game changer!
We buy a new humidifier almost every winter. The region we live has a very hard water.
We bough two units from levoit for our house and with couple hours the environment was completely different (for good).
We live in a desert area, 7200 ft altitude.
Dryness of skin, specially during the winter is huge.
Not only that, but because of the cold and so much usage of heater everywhere (home, office, stores, friends home, etc), breathing well is hard.
This humidifier delivers everything that promises. The humidity of my daughter’s room went from 27% to 45% fast and easily. I love the scheduling function to turn it off and turn it back on.
So helpful! You can set up for turn it off at the regular time you live home (m-f) and set up to turn it on within 40 mins before you get back!
This save water and also exhaustive tank refills.
Btw … Refil the tank is a piece of cake, adding water to the top of the tank.
I love the light off function and as well the app that controls the unit. One more information: you can have multiple units associate to your account, you can name the rooms as you wish, and share the device with someone’s app (in this case, my husband and i have acess to both devices in our phones). Cleaning is a dream and you can literally stick you hand inside with a sponge or brush for cleaning the unit.
The essential oil pad is also a winner!
So far, i am in love with this product.

I bought this mainly because i liked that i can fill it from the top. Since i’ve started using it, i’ve found that i also like sleep mode, being able to turn it on or off with the app, and the compartment for essential oils as well.

It’s great that it will turn itself off when the humidity level you set is reached and will turn back on when it drops below that level. The front display turns off in sleep mode so it doesn’t disturb my sleep.

There is a compartment at the back with a pad you can add drops of essential oil to and it does last very well.

I got this humidifier for the room where i store my musical instruments. I need it to keep the humidity between 45 and 60%. I selected this machine based on reviews and the wi-fi capability. The wi-fi is a huge plus. I can check and adjust the humidity in the room from wherever i am. But the automatic feature is wonderful. The noise level is nonexistent it is silent. The water reservoir last much longer than expected. 3 to 4 days is normal and i am in a climate of very low humidity. I have been using this machine for a month now and it keeps the humidity level constant at whatever i have it set at. My guitars do not go out of tune while hanging on the wall. I highly recommend this unit.

I love this. I like that you can use an app and i can turn it up as much as i need from my bed. I suffered from eczema as a child and still have that flareups occasionally. In the last three months i’ve started to notice that the skin around my face is starting to feel really dry even though i’m using a lot of creams and ointment and i take really good care of my skin. We just put in a new furnace and ac and well that creates a normal amount of humidity that was not enough for my skin. After one night sleeping with this on 70% my skin has started to heal itself. I had cracks even around my mouth and around my lips even though i use chapstick. When i woke up today my skin was almost killed most of the cracks had started to close and they were no longer painful. If you’re needing more moisture in the air definitely buy this !winter is coming and it’ll be dry in no time and this will save your skin.

I bought this humidifier in dec 2020 and it still works great. I even bought one for my mother in law. I primarily use it in the winter when it gets dry and it’s pretty easy to clean and is quiet. This humidifier has lasted all my previous ones which usually break after a year or so. Im hoping this will last a few more years.

Humidity in bedroom seems to be working fine maintaining a nice humidity but with winter coming and i have a hot air furnace i will be testing this unit out to see if it’s working the way it should.

I have tried just about every brand. This one wins the prize for best misting – three selections and full blast is full blast. My dry eyes and nose need this moisture … Next to my bed and my cats fight over who gets to be under the mist. Very well made, constructed and volume of mist and fill tank are great.

I have the levoit air purifier and was pretty certain the humidifier would be just as easy to use and a super performer. Love the ability to control from my phone app as well.

Perfect to me means simple, add water turn knob, and if the power goes out don’t even check on it, cause it’s back to work when the lights are back on.

Tank is huge… Seems to run forever if just left on low. Night light feature is nice

Overall the purifier is easy to setup and easily accessible to the filter drum. After a few weeks with it, i can conclude that the unit is fairly loud at medium to high settings. There appears to be no low setting but an auto setting.

One really important feature would be the ability to turn off the led panel lights, but with the drawback of the power led never being able to be off. Which means folks who want a complete dark room at night, there would be a need for something to cover the power led.

Overall i’d give this a 4/5

Seems to put out a good amount of humidity and night light is nice as well as the auto feature. The two big negatives for me are that the buttons don’t light up so i can’t see them in the dark 🙁 the other negative is that essential oils simply do not work on this. Bad design on that part. No fragrance at all but i think most people already have a diffuser for that like i do but a 2 in 1 would be neat.

Works great, with one major catch that might force me to return this: it makes a very high pitched ringing sound that is hard to ignore when trying to sleep. If your ears can pick up this type of higher pitch, don’t go for this one. This may not be an issue for everyone but for me it makes it hard to fall asleep to.

Can provide a lot of humidity as needed. Very quiet, but the light on the screen is incredibly bright. Trying to turn off the light seems to turn off the entire unit. I am also not able to connect it to the wifi, but it hold a lot of water and it easy to clean and refill.

Shape is easy for cleaning and it functions well for keeping moisture in kids room while fan runs

This is a great humidifier. It pumps out the vapor, the app has not failed me once yet and is easy to to use. It does what it’s supposed to and does it well. My rating stands even though i’m about to tell you why it’s a pain in my ass.

My only issue with it is keeping it clean. I change the water and rinse it out every night, and i admit that i don’t only put the recommended distilled water in it, only tap water. That is admittedly probably where my problem stems from, but i run this thing so much while it’s dry as hell in kentucky this time of year (winter) that i just don’t want to have to stock gallons and gallons of distilled water, since it’ll go through 2/3 of a tank in one night. I keep it set to auto shut off at 50% humidity, well within the recommended range and it still runs pretty much nonstop. That’s not the fault of the app or software, it really is that dry in the winter here.

I keep to the app’s suggestion of cleaning it once a week, and have even found myself having to do it more than that with the gross buildup of yellow slime all over the intake and all over the bottom section/reservoir and it’s whole assembly. Maybe our water here is gross. Totally plausible, but man, the water in the bottom of this thing gets gross looking after a day of working. Bunch of mung floating in it that i have to rinse out daily.

I admit that this is probably user error, since i’m not running the recommended distilled water in it but it’s just not economically feasible, since it’d take a gallon every other day. I know it’s not expensive, but damn…i don’t have space for 15 gallons of distilled water.

Point is, this thing works great, the app is great and works fine, love that it can be programmed to run at certain times of day and only under certain humidity levels and it absolutely pumps out the steam, much better than my last evaporative fan-based humidifier that was loud as hell. I guess i just want to say that if you want to run tap water in it, prepare to have to clean it ever other day, because the mung builds up quick and you don’t want to be breathing that stuff.

I started to use it a week ago. Got it for my indoor plants that require high humidity.i like it very much so far. It is absolutely quiet, increases the humidity on max by 20% in 2 hours time (room temperature 20/22c, humidity 55% from start) and uses moderate amount of water on the max. It is my first levoit and third humidifier of this kind.happy at this point.

I need humidifier that is quiet, at least 1 gallon tank and just need to be on all day. The winter dry heat often caused my nose to bleed. For the past few years, i was happy with a rowenta humidifier. Unfortunately, rowenta stopped making a filter for that humidifier. So i ended up getting this levoit.

When i first plugged in, i was very impressed with the near non existence of noise. However, after 3 months , i am beginning to hear some whirring. My guess is dust built up. I’ll probably have to open it up to clean it. Feels like all the humidifiers i’ve used always had some fan noise issue. I am using this humidifier in a 350 sq ft bedroom. I always leave it at high. The room would stay at 33-35% humidity. Without the humidifier, the humidity level would be at 22-25%. This is about the same number as my old rowenta humidifier.

I didn’t find anything that stood out with this humidifier. I didn’t bother with any app installation. For me, i just need the humidifier on constantly.

Besides the function, the cleaning of the interior of the tank was easy. Cleaning the humidifier was easy. Now cleaning the bottom of the tank was a mess. For some reason, there’s this weird circular cup with grill at the bottom. This cup is extremely difficult to clean. I am wonder what the purpose of this cup is. I removed it and the humidifier still work well.

Overall, it fits my need. I like the 1.5 gallon tank and top load. But nothing really stand out.
