Life-flo Magnesium Lotion, Unscented Massage & Body Lotion, Relief & Relaxation for Overworked Muscles & Joints, With Magnesium Chloride from the Zechstein Seabed, Plus Shea Butter & Coconut Oil, 8oz

Both me and my wife use this great magnesium lotion. We rub thoroughly and plentifully our muscles after serious exercise and rub any painful muscles or joints (including the muscles around the joints). It is quite effective and my wife’s rbc magnesium test was 6.2 recently, an excellent result, showing that the magnesium content and absorption from this lotion is excellent. Beyond using the lotion, she is taking 200mg of magnesium citrate gummies every day!! That’s all she is taking and her results are outstanding!!
But she is using between half a tea spoon and a tea spoon in one rubbing session. I use less magnesium lotion, just one or two pea size servings at a time, and my recent rbc magnesium test is at 4.6, much lower, which shows that using more magnesium lotion is very effective. I also take 300mg of magnesium pills and capsules a day . So the lotion helps a lot both with the muscles and to increase the magnesium content inside one’s cells, as measured by the rbc magnesium test. The rbc magnesium test measures the amount of magnesium inside one’s red blood cells and this test is commercially available. It is very important to use the right magnesium test to know where you stand when it comes to magnesium.

I have used this product for a couple of years for pain after hiking or episodic pain. It works, and allows me to avoid nsaids. I don’t notice much odor and wouldn’t care, since i use it overnight. They changed the formula about a year ago so it takes a minute to absorb, and i wish they hadn’t, but again i don’t care… Because within about half an hour to an hour my pain is gone and i can sleep. It has also helped on a couple of occasions with constipation, and i think this product is better for you than most otc products. I don’t think it matters where you apply this product.. Ie, to the area of pain, or not, because it’s working by being absorbed into the bloodstream. I apply it to inner wrists and inner elbows and soles of feet because i think it will be absorbed quicker there & less irritation, although it doesn’t irritate anyway but i think it can be a little drying. This product has improved my quality of life and allowed me to manage my health in a better direction. I have recommended it to several friends.

After breaking my ankle and leg i have been suffering from restless syndrome at night, which is something i wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.
I slather this on my ankle before bed and it relieves the aches and rls so i can actually sleep.
The vanilla scent is really nice.

I have terrible restless legs. And i am always looking for relief. I just made my first application of the lotion and i feel interesting sensations in my legs. That’s hopeful. Fingers crossed.
I didn’t think through where i applied it. Tomorrow i will do the spasm areas mindfully. Ex.: my spasms are above my knee up onto the top of my thigh. But in my calves the spasms are on the back of the leg, near the biggest muscle. So i redid that. I am a believer in transformation absorption and it seems this lotion delivers.
Applying it is not easy. So i turned the application into a mini massage. The lotion leaves quite a thick, white residue. I like heavy products. And the white residue disappears. And your skin is quite smooth; not at all sticky.
But … We have to talk about the scent! After 15 minutes, i still smell like i waded in milk of magnesia! It’s overpowering! I shudder to think what my sheets will smell like. And i fear my very xpensive down comforter will also absorb the scent.
I have spent some time in marketing and skin care product formulation but not being a chemist i don’t know if the scent can be played down — or covered — with no loss of efficacy. But it’s worth a few tests.
I will rebuy & use the product because it feels effective but the scent is a real issue for me.

this actually works. I didn’t apply it for 2 nights — the smell in general & on my sheets — and on both woke up with restless legs.
Suggestions to the maker:
1. Please fix the scent … But keep the efficacy.
2. If you can’t fix the scent, develop an over-lotion, a second layer to block it.
3. Develop massage routines to enhance the lotion(s).
And you might want to consider the pajama business. That is my solution for now.

Bought this due to reviews based on absorption, i wanted something to help with sleeping and it seems to help. The lotion smells like salt mixed with a hint of vanilla. I like it so far the lotion is not greasy absorbs easily and a little goes a long way

I was given this product by a friend and i love using it. It has a wonderful silky feel and the moisturizing is great too. Nice to use on those nights when the restless legs are feeling achy and it helps me settle. I never travel without it.

After just a few days of using this product, i noticed my nervous legs were so much more relaxed at night. Also helps the arthritis in my ankle and hands.

This product makes it so easy to add magnesium into your body! Instant relief with muscle aches….really love this product! I use it 2x a day, morning and night time. So happy i purchased.

I’m a runner and this really helps with my sore legs and recovery. The relief is pretty immediate! I would totally recommend.

Very thick but really smells amazing, i bought a small bottle in case i didn’t like it. But definitely will be buying two big bottles now.

Has a faint but warm vanilla scent, it’s not greasy at all.
Feels better than regular lotion, knowing my skin is absorbing magnesium also.

I got this lotion to treat my tense shoulder area. After using it for the first time, the lotion absorbs pretty fast and it doesn’t leave a super tacky thick layer. However, it does have a slight chemical smell. This is typical for unscented products. As for pain relief, i did notice some relief but not as much as other products like cbd creams. I prefer using cbd, but this would also be a great alternative for it!

I really love this lotion. It creates a very good moisture barrier and the magnesium is helpful. Sometimes i combine it with vitamin e oil for more moisturizing. Sometimes i combine it with amlactin to aid exfoliation. So many ways to customize this great product. That said, the hard bottle makes it incredibly difficult to get all of the lotion out. Annoying, and expensive if you don’t want to waste of the product. Lots of banging of the bottle and ultimately adding water or toner to get it all out is not fun. Vendor, pls switch to% a tube so we can cut it apart and use every drop.

This is the most wonderful product for managing my arthritis pain in the evening for better sleep.
I use it at night, and it gives me a nice relaxing sleep, i do not wake up groggy, and i found that the lotion, works better, for me, then the oil spray. I also use for my mother, to help her when she needs a
good sleep. I rub on her legs, and feet for relaxation.

Not very absorbent, it’s a very thick product and takes a while for the white to absorb into your skin. Also has a weird smell, although it’s supposedly unscented

I’ve only been using it for about 2 weeks but i really like it. Smells great and spreads nicely. Not greasy or anything, it dries down on the skin. I’ve read magnesium lotion is good for you. The only difference i’ve seen is that i feel like i’m sleeping better. Otherwise i haven’t noticed any changes with my body.

I love this product no need to take epsom salt baths all the time. It does leave a flakey residue on the skin.

I really like this lotion, and it helped with leg aches. I only used it on days my legs were exposed and didn’t have issues with it pilling. However, my mom would use it as night before bed and when she washed her pajamas the residue was still there after washing. So if you’re wanting it for night leg aches maybe stay away. Otherwise seems to be a good buy.

It works fairly well for pain in hands feet. Did not last as long as i’d like but works to get me asleep!

I guess the flavor is ok. Scent is ok. Seems to help quickly.
