LUMIFY Redness Reliever Eye Drops 0.25 Ounce (7.5mL)

The first time my wife used this was when her best friend had her try it for a wedding we went too.
Ever since then she fell in love and wanted her own!

It really works to clear out the redness.
She said however, when she used it too much (at one point she used it almost every day) her eyes would start to hurt.
But when she only uses it for special occasions, date nights, etc then it’s fine.

She also said that she got more compliments than normal (and she gets alot already) on her eyes because the color of her eyes stood out more with the whitening and not hidden with the redness of her blood vessels.

Unsure what the long term effects of something like this may be, however it would likely be worth it from how fantastic these drops work. My eyes instantly, i mean within 15 seconds, look incredibly clear and the whites actually pop. It’ll last the entire day if you put them in in the morning. This has quickly become something i keep in my purse with me at all times.

I have sensitive eyes, but i can handle these drops. They make such a big difference in appearance! My eyes can get dry and red, but these drops make them look so bright and the white of my eyes is so white! My sil used to work at an eye doctor’s office and she recommended them to me. This is the only kind i will buy now!

I’m now on my second bottle of lumify. The bottle is tiny which makes the product quite expensive. My only issue is the price but that obviously hasn’t held me back from buying it as i love it!

It works really well and i feel like it’s much healthier than using one of the other ‘red eye-removing products’.

I hope the price comes down but it is a great product!

Works very fast for getting the red out. Doesn’t burn or sting. Lasts most of the day. My eye doctor recommended this brand to me.

I wanted this product to clear redness from allergies and it does that in seconds and makes my eyes clear in less than a minute. For me it lasts from morning until evening.

Lumify absolutely takes the red out of one’s eyes— they look beautiful for a while. For me, after about an hour or so, my eyes feel dry and start to appear a little red again. I add another eye lubricant systane complete and it helps keep my eyes moist longer.
I still would recommend it for short term

This is a must for me before an important event or even after a long-haul flight. Does not seem to sting my eyes or cause any kind of irritation. Worth keeping a spare in my gym bag.

I used this for months but my eyes really suffered from long term use. My eyes became so red and bloodshot that i saw an ophthalmologist. My eyes began to water constantly, it felt like sand in my eyes, my eyesight became blurry and painful.
I definitely don’t recommend this for more then a month or so. I won’t continue to use this.

I am so glad that this type of product works for my eyes. Between the long work and home computer
use, the next morning i have such irritated, red eyes and lumify totally clears this up for me. So happy
and grateful for this product.

It’s not all that it works for regular little red eye but if you have party eye doesn’t work at all way overpriced i think

The drops gave me my cleared eyes ever. However once i use them, nothing else works and only makes eyes red, making this a fairly expensive solution for my budget. But yes, really clears the eyes for sure.

You can see a difference in one minute! But will need to reapply multiple times throughout the day.

i do love these eye drops now that i have found a way to use them where my body hasn’t become dependent on them!!!
I’ll put one drop in each eye, and i only use them 1-2 days per week. Then i alternate using a different allergy eye drop, that way i’m not solely using the lumify ones. This has been working great for me all this time since my original review!

I heard from an ophthalmologist that she recommends these lumify redness relief eye drops to people because they don’t use a certain kind of preservative in them that can be bad to use long term. So that’s a huge plus for me too!

i have sensitive eyes that get red very easily. If i put any makeup on – they turn red. Go into a different climate than i’m used to – red. Allergy season or slightly windy outside – red. You get the picture…

I’ve tried many different eye drops to help with the redness, and the one i have always had in my purse is the bausch & lomb opcon-a eye allergy relief. Those had been the only ones to work for me – but it was always super short acting and didn’t get them as “normal” and white-ish in color as i would have liked. They also didn’t work at all if i wore makeup, so i decided to try these.

These drops work amazingly! In the before and after picture i posted, the before is how my eyes look on a daily basis, not as red as when i wear makeup. And you can see how clear and white they look after using the drops!

The thing that i’m bummed about though, is that my eyes became very dependent on them after using the drops twice a day (as directed) for just two days. When i woke up this morning they were so bloodshot. And now after using them for just a couple days, my eyes are in a constant state of serious redness. I’ve also posted a picture of how they look today, after using them for two days, and just an hour or so after putting drops in them this morning – they went right back to being so red and the effects didn’t last as long as it says they’re supposed to.

I think these drops are great for me, but only to use once, here and there. I know with any redness eye drops your eyes can become dependent, but it happened much quicker than i expected. They do work great, but i personally won’t be able to use them for more than one day at a time.

When deciding on buying something i greatly depend on reviews from others, so i hope this helps you!

It does what it advertises but it does leave your eyes feeling sensitive and dryer than ever.

Easy use

I have redness almost daily due to a combination of a pterygium in each eye and from allergies. The most effective thing my doctor approved of was naphcon a (or opcon a, or the generic) allergy eye drops; and it was kind of hit and miss with helping with the redness part.

During an exam for contact lenses, my optometrist recommended using lumify for important one-on-one things.

These eye drops work wonderfully, and very quickly! The whites of my eyes go back to white within 5 minutes of using the drops. I’m pretty sure the redness is mostly due to the pterygium, and i notice a little bit of redness coming back towards the end of my work day, but nowhere near as bad as without the drops.

My only real complaint is the price. These are much more expensive than the versions of naphcon/opcon/generic of naphcon, and it would be nice if they were more affordable.

For the past 20+ yrs my husband has the worst allergies i’ve ever seen with any and every upper respiratory symptom at some point. The one thing none of the otcs and rxs have been able to make a dent in is the bloodshot eyes, even if the itchiness and irritation subsided.

He kept looking for something to relieve this particular unsightly issue and convinced me to take a chance on these rather expensive drops based on his online search. I had my (extreme) doubts, but couldn’t stand how much the redness bothered him, so sprung for the smaller, less-expensive bottle as a trial.

It’s been just over two years later and he still swears by these drops. They’ve become part of the monthly budget and we’re buying the larger bottle on sub&save.

i can’t firmly place when, but at some point every single bottle ordered will start out opening fine, but at some point malfunctions as several other reviews have stated. I thought he was just being careless with the cap and perhaps over tightening it to cause this but clearly, with so many others reporting the same issue, he isn’t the problem. The bottles are.

Tip:
you can carefully cut the purple part of the cap away and the clear plastic part underneath will still close the bottle, we discovered by accident.

Just wanted to let anyone who’s curious know that, as of the bottle just purchased 4/21/22, the cap issue remains, as tonight was the night it decided to act super ornery and had an emergency appointment w/ dr. Boxcutter & nurse craftscissors.

Esta bien si aclara los ojos rojos seguí las instrucciones y solo me puse una gota por ojo pero me dio un tremendo dolor de ojos,pero pensé que era por otro motivo así es que me las volví a poner en varias ocasiones y fue lo mismo talvez para mi no fueron buenas pero no todos somos iguales

These drops do everything they claim to do!!! Only 4 stars due to high price of product.
